Bill & Kathy’s place is stunning! So clean and well maintained, and located in a beautiful quiet neighborhood. The location is also very close to the beach, and so many other local attractions. They are wonderful hosts, very helpful and had very good recommendations on local restaurants. 10/10 all around, we enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend their place to anyone wanting a beautiful place and lovely hosts in Carolina Beach! Thank you!

Great Place!

This house was amazing! Very clean and well taken care of. Location was perfect! Close to the beach to go walking and away from the crowds of the boardwalk. We would definitely recommend this place to anybody and stay in this house again! Thank you for a great vacation!

Perfect beach house for family gathering

Everything was perfect for our multigenerational family gathering. Kitchen was well stocked. The elevator was particularly helpful. We all enjoyed the ocean and bay views from the balconies.

Wonderful family vacation in a home that had everything! Location, views, comfort!

Had a wonderful vacation with beloved family. Made memories in a beautiful home that had everything including an elevator. Hosts couldn’t be more responsive and accommodating. Views were great and everything was top notch. Loved every minute!

Fun in the sun!

We (9 of us) had a wonderful time here. Everything was clean and ready to go a few hours early even. The elevator was a huge hit and made things so much easier. The house came with a lot of beach basics that made the stay a lot more relaxing. And the location was perfect!

WEEK AT THE BEACH

We only had one week to get together as a family this year at the beach. We found this unit and it looked like it would fit our needs perfectly, and it did. We had plenty of room for the eight of us, it was very well kept and maintained, beautiful on the inside, a short walk to the beach and close to the boardwalk. Away from the resort, hotels and a decent location. We would definitely stay there again! Great for a large family!

Jewel’s Happy Birthday

Family girls’ weekend to celebrate our beautiful Jewel! The home was welcoming and well stocked. We had space to share and spend time together plus the bed/bathroom layout provided a little separation for privacy. The owner was very friendly, responsive and provided great information. We would definitely stay again and have marked as a favorite.

Great vacation rental

The pictures do not do this place justice. It is beautiful inside and out. Easy access to the beach. Owners were excellent with communication. The only negative we had was the parking due to larger vehicles. But, besides that we have no complaints. Would definitely recommend this to anyone.

Perfect Spot for a Family Vacation

Beautiful home easily accommodated a multi-generational family. Owner communication was top notch. The layout of the kitchen and living space on the upper level was fabulous with bedrooms located downstairs. We found the kitchen was equipped with everything we could have needed; plenty of dishes, silverware, pots, pans, etc. Just a short walk to an uncrowded beach. Plenty of beach gear available in the outdoor closet (a plus). Would definitely stay here again!

Nice Family Spot

Quiet neighborhood in late April. Elevator was useful. Kitchen is huge. Ice that there was bottled water provided as Carolina Beach water has an egg smell we weren’t used to. Could have used a few more pillows and don’t forget your beach towels! We really enjoyed the balconies.

Thank you Eric for a nice review. We have spare pillows in some of the closets. They may have migrated to one of the bedrooms. Yes , Carolina Beach and actually most of the Carolina towns along the coast have the same issue. Although it is completely safe to drink it sometimes is stronger than normal. The Balconies are one of my favorite places to hang out . Thanks Eric, Hope to have you guys back again. Bill

We had an amazing stay at Southern Exposure! The home was beautiful, well-appointed, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing trip. The owners were incredibly responsive and made the entire process smooth and stress-free.From the fully stocked kitchen to the beach chairs and wagon, every detail was thoughtfully included. Having an elevator was perfect for a smooth move in and out!The balconies on every level were a highlight—perfect for morning coffee or catching the sunset after a day at the beach. And speaking of location, you can’t beat it! Just a block and a half from the beach and close to everything Carolina Beach has to offer.Highly recommend Southern Exposure, we’re already looking forward to our next stay!

Fabulous "FIND" for a 50th College Reunion get together w/FRIENDS!

This was an EXTRAORDINARY place to stay at Carolina Beach. Every ONE of my friends who joined me on this trip RAVED about the SOUTHERN EXPOSURE!! (We talked about how incredible it was ALL WEEK.) We have nothing but praise for our HOSTS who made the booking process, OUR week long reunion together, and the departure process SIMPLE, EASY, and were so welcoming and knowledgeable!! If we could have given MORE THAN 5 STARS for an OVER ALL RATING FOR EVERYTHING - WE WOULD HAVE!!
