Completed in 2021, Lakeshore Woods Lodge provides the perfect balance of privacy, expansive views, proximity to downtown, and familiar home amenities. Lakeshore Woods Lodge was built for suburban families of surrounding cities to relax and enjoy a non-traditional luxury experience that is often lost in the suburbs. This particular property is on a rare location accessed via a private road on Lakeshore Drive that provides the absolute perfect mix of Michigan woods, lake proximity, nearby Douglas beach, and downtown Saugatuck shopping. With an abundance of windows and natural light, gorgeous views of the surrounding woods and seasonal lake views await. The property is nestled among trees and tucked away on a wooded lot, yet steps to Lake Michigan bluff sunsets and a short drive to virtually everything!

WHY THIS LOCATION?
Our guests enjoy the proximity to activities and the ability to return to the quiet of the lodge after a long day of fun. A brief walk down the private road yields gorgeous views of the lake on a 50'+ high bluff that exists only in this rare section of lakeshore drive. Bluff sunsets are truly amazing and unobstructed by housing or trees. The lodge was positioned to enjoy the seasonal lake and sunset views from within the great room, loft, or screened porch of the lodge. We encourage guests to walk to the bluff for the ultimate experience.

THE LODGE
The lodge’s sprawling open concept floor plan provides multiple living areas for a whole group to spread out, remain comfortable, and enjoy the lodge. Cooking, living, and dining come together as one while the bedrooms are quietly tucked away. Guests enjoy the views from the common area while others seclude in the loft or the bonus room for movies and games. Gather around the indoor or outdoor maintenance-free instant-on fireplaces and enjoy a wholesome time with your loved ones before treating them to a delicious meal prepared in the fully equipped modern kitchen. A therapeutic retreat to the large screened porch for an early cup of coffee or a sunset drink is the ultimate break from suburban life. + In the summer, the porch is open with screens, when spring/fall temperatures are under 60F we employ plexiglass to allow the fireplace to heat the area.
