Host went above and beyond to send recommendations for our stay that were very helpful. Great location if looking to be outside the city with a short walk to the beach but also bus transportation right outside the door to get to and from the city and sights. Clean and quiet and would totally recommend.

This was such an enjoyable stay. We enjoyed the location near the ocean, the coziness of the space and the well appointed kitchen. The beds are very comfortable. The host was very friendly and welcoming. We would love to come back to stay there again!

We had a very comfortable 7 night stay! The neighborhood is wonderfully quiet, with an easy walk down the hill to Jericho Beach. There are loads of restaurants about five minutes away, and parking was easy.The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, and the bathtub was surprisingly large—long enough for my very tall sons to actually stretch out! Being a lower-level apartment, it doesn’t get a lot of natural light, which made it especially quiet and cozy for sleeping. Add in the incredibly comfortable beds and you may want to set an alarm so you don’t sleep in! A quiet, comfortable place to stay in a really convenient location.

We enjoyed our stay. We did find the access was an issue. The front door lock should be repaired. The place was very cool at night, but the host solved the problem by providing space heating.

At times the air smelled a little musty like we were in a basement - which we were, so that is understandable. We had a difficult time unlocking and locking the door, but we eventually figured it out. Other than that, the place was wonderful and peaceful.Thank you.

This unit was in an excellent location, close to beach, trails and shopping. The dishwasher was not working so many of the dishes were dirty and the couch needed a good vacuuming to rid itself of other people's crumbs. It was also rather dark and could have used more or better lighting, especially bedroom lamps. There was a lovely backyard for sitting in the sun. The hosts were very friendly and helpful.

Lucky find

We made an impulsive decision to visit Vancouver for a few days and lucked into finding this house on VRBO for the exact week we needed. The house is perfectly situated. We could walk to the beach, to Pacific Spirit Park, even all the way to the Museum of Anthropology and Nitobe Memorial Garden. There’s a bus stop in front of the house Lyft/Uber to make more distant trips easy. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, and we felt very comfortable in the flat. There are a couple of windows the door for natural light, but the flat itself is semi-underground.

I booked a few days to spend with my son in Vancouver and with my daughter before she moved to dorm at UBC sept 1st.It was a superb location. We were able to walk to restaurants and had a few dinners on the beach. The space was comfy and well stocked. We really enjoyed our time. And Angus was quick and great to communicate with right from booking.

We stayed in Vancouver to visit my daughter who is attending UBC. The place is close to campus, close to the beach and an easy ride downtown. We will be booking again!
