Check in process, responsiveness of property manager, and snacks in the kitchen made the stay pleasant. The location was also more convenient to Clemson and Seneca than expected.

For the most part, the house was clean. There was sticky residue on the coffee table and the kitchen bar counter.It would be convenient if information was available as to where the dumpster is located and how to access the lake from the complex. We saw a photo of a wooden walkway that leads to the lake and the boat dock, but we couldn’t find where it was.Overall, the condo worked fine for us.

From the owner: I appreciate your helpful feedback and am glad the condo worked well for your stay. I’m sorry about the sticky residue and have reminded my cleaning team to double-check surfaces before each arrival. I’ve also updated the welcome book with clearer directions to the dumpster, lake, and boat dock to make things even more convenient for future guests.

Unfortunately, our stay was very disappointing, particularly because we booked this condo expecting the accommodations to be clean, comfortable, and consistent with the listing.The property was advertised as pet-free, which was essential for our family. Despite this, there were clear signs that a pet had been in the home, and my children experienced breathing and allergy problems upon entering. This was a serious concern & a significant failure to provide what was advertised.There were also cleanliness and condition issues. We found an abundance of bugs on the floor, carpets in the bedrooms were badly stained, & the mattresses were old & uncomfortable. You could hear & feel the springs in the beds. The towels were unusually small.We did bring our concerns to the attention of management who responded in a timely manner, but unfortunately because it was move in weekend at Clemson, there were no other hotels available that we could move to & we had to stay. Ultimately, we were offered a partial refund, but we did not feel the compensation adequately reflected the problems we encountered, particularly the health and allergy issues caused by the presence of a pet in a home advertised as pet-free. The ad shows a walkway to the lake, but there was no lake access from the condo. The outside patio is very dirty & not appealing to sit outside.Unless the carpets are ripped up, the mattresses & towels replaced, and you have no allergies, I would not recommend staying here.

We’re sorry your stay fell short of expectations. There have been no pets in this rental, and the carpets have since been professionally cleaned again. The bugs found behind the entertainment center have been addressed, and mattress toppers have been added for additional comfort. Lake access is available across the road, as noted in the listing and guest handbook. The towels in the primary bathroom have also been replaced, and the patio has since been pressure washed. We take the condition of the home seriously and appreciate you bringing these concerns to our attention.
