Great getaway

We had a great time! We loved that show he cabin wasn’t in Glenwood but a quick drive down the road and we had access to everything! The location around the river is absolutely amazing! We’re hoping to plan a trip back this summer! Caleb and was great and easy to contact if needed!

This cabin is super clean and has a spectacular view of the running river . Highly recommend this place .

Fall Stay

Cute cabin, needs a little work though. When we arrived the cleaning person must have just left. The wood floors were very wet and the smell of the cleaning solution was very strong. Patio screen door was not operable, faucet sprayer did not work., and bathroom vanity door was hanging. The pictures were not updated to show missing outdoor furniture and there were a few big pieces of firewood with no means to chop it smaller. Be aware that you are not really secluded. There are four other buildings in very close proximity. The location was close to the springs and hanging lake and the best part was the river and wildlife around it. I also received my check out instructions at 5:00, well after the 11:00 check out. A little TLC would make this a great getaway.

Loved our Colorado Cabib!

The cabin is in a great location. Pretty quiet & the river is right there. We saw goats, ducks, sweet dogs & frisky cats, we loved it! Would definitely stay here again.

A lovely retreat!

We had a great time at River Nest! This place has everything you need for a relaxing trip with the privacy of a cabin and the amenities of home. Being right next to the river is the cherry on top. Highly recommend!

Wonderful getaway - We will be back!

We were seeking a getaway that would feel like a retreat and this place delivered! It is a VERY nice, spacious cabin that is well equipped, extremely clean with a lot of thoughtful touches. A pergola, patio furniture and swing all faced the Colorado River, and a small boat (kayak) provided in case you wanted to enjoy the river. The backyard was as well kept as the inside, and each of the 3 untils on this property had its own fenced backyard area. We never once felt like we had neighbors! We purposely chose a location that was rural, but yet only 20 minutes away from Glenwood. There also was plenty of parking, and a parking space next to the entrance of the unit made it easy to unload luggage, groceries, etc. The owner was courteous and easy to work with. As I said in my title, we will be back! This might become a regular event for us!
