Alpaca My Bags & Alpaca Experience!

"Alpaca My Bags" is not only a wonderful alpaca experience, but a serene night's rest on a 54 acre ranch, what we call our little piece of paradise. You will enjoy a 1500 SF home with 3 bedrooms & 2 Bathrooms. This house sleeps 6, any unapproved guests may be asked to leave. The downstairs of this house is also a separate Vrbo. Please be respectful of noise level. Please reach out to schedule your one on one experience with the alpacas. We will let you in our juvenile pen to enjoy these furry critters up close. Text me @ (970) 274-0853 to schedule your time! Sopris Alpaca Farm is only 10 miles to Rifle State Park, a beautiful triple 70' waterfall flowing over on East Rifle Creek. You can enjoy hiking on trails and exploring the caves. We are a short 17 minute drive to Glenwood Springs, an outdoor enthusiast's haven. The world's largest hot springs, great skiing, many hiking trails, including our gorgeous Hanging Lake.

The experience of this property is absolutely amazing! The hosts who run the farm are kind and great to work with. The alpacas really turn it into a fun and memorable experience as opposed to just another place to stay. The house was wonderful, clean, and overall great to stay in.

Lovely property with friendly hosts. Our stay out in the country was comfortable and relaxing. The alpacas were fun to watch. Would definitely stay here again!

The employees really enjoyed their stay and the alpaca farm is a fun little bonus! A nice location, a nice home, and no issues while they were there. After a long day of training they enjoyed visiting the alpacas (talk to the hosts first), and we will use this location again if we find ourselves with training in the area. Thank you!

Amazing stay!

Kim and Cory were amazing hosts and we absolutely loved our stay here! The alpacas were a great part of our trip, and we picked up some christmas gifts at their adorable boutique. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful property

Came with my two grandchildren and they had an awesome time feeding the alpacas. The property is so beautiful and well kept.

This was an amazing place and a hidden gem. We wanted to find a unique place close to Glenwood Springs and we hit the jack pot.

Great trip

The house was wonderful, it was a duplex but very cute and quiet. The decor was great and we loved visiting the alpacas.

Great place!

So fun staying at an Alpaca farm. The hosts were great, the accommodations were cute and clean, and the home was well stocked. We very much enjoyed it.

Great time at the place

Most comfortable place to stay and very peaceful too.. Met the cats, highlands cows and many Alpacas and were entertaining and give us smiles for the day. Host were super helpful and great attitude with us. We really enjoy the stay

Wonderful family friendly stay

Wow, what a wonderful relaxing place to bring the family. The house is perfect but the alpacas really made this stay wonderful. We fed them almost every day. Highly recommend this for a family.

Relaxing and wonderful

We had a wonderful stay. We really appreciated the quiet evenings with the peaceful area. We enjoyed getting to see the alpacas and highland cows—such a unique and charming touch that made our visit extra special. Everything was just as described. We hope to stay again in the future!

Cory & I purchased the 53 in 2017 to have more room to grow our Sopris Alpaca herd. We spent the first year bringing this 1896 historic property back to its natural beauty. After finishing our beautiful cabin, we renovated the rustic building behind the cabin that is now our Alpaca Boutique. Then we finished one last building. A shabby chic farm studio we are now using as an Airbnb and VRBO. This unit has been so successful, that we decided to turn our long term rental into an Airbnb and VRBO. It has been completely renovated and is absolutely gorgeous. This beauty sleeps 5 and has a fenced in back yard! So bring the family and/or friends and enjoy some alpaca time!!!!
We are open daily from 10-4 so that others can come back and enjoy a bit of farm life and have an Alpaca experience. We look forward to sharing our beautiful, serene property with you.
