Romantic Rustic Luxury on 21-acre Private Ranch #2

The Red Barn Guest Ranch is a unique wedding and special event property that was built over 103 years ago as a family residence. Through the generations, this scenic property has served as a gathering place for the families who owned it and the community around it. Today, Red Barn Guest Ranch has been restored to its original splendor and offers world-class event facilities, old-fashioned customer service, outdoor activities, and onsite lodging.

*This is NOT a pet-friendly cottage! Please check with us for pet-friendly locations! Our classy, tastefully decorated and spacious "Bridal Cottage" sleeps up to 6 guests. Each side of the cottage has one bedroom and one bathroom. The first side has a King-sized bed and Queen-sized sofa sleeper, and the other side has a Queen-sized Canopy bed. There is a private patio on one side (with the Canopy bed). Overlooking 2 ponds and fountain area, this cottage faces the Event Center. Please contact us for parties and larger group events (not included with this cabin, but definitely possible on this property!).
Group activities on the property can include: Escape Room (additional fee applies), lawn games, bocce ball, firepit, Foosball, pool table and hiking.

This property is located about 3.5 miles from either New Castle, CO or Silt, CO. There is no public transportation to/from this property. Each accommodation on the property has a private lock box, and it is a self check-in.

We are available for any needs guests may have, but we like to allow our guests all the privacy they want- we are just a phone call away!

Serene country living in a picturesque setting with breathtaking views of nearby mountain ranges. Only 3.5 miles from either Silt or New Castle, and 15 miles west of Glenwood Springs, this is a truly unique and beautiful locationto get away from big city life, yet have most necessary amenities nearby.

Red Barn Guest Ranch is just minutes away from the tourist hub of Glenwood Springs connecting you to world-class resorts including Aspen, Vail, and Beaver Creek. Our ranch is easily accessible from I-70 and surrounded by beautiful countryside overlooking the Colorado River.

There is an Event Center on-site that can be rented for an additional fee. Please contact Host if you would like to discuss rental of Event Center for private events, up to 300 guests.

Wonderful experience!

The farm was beautiful and the cottage wonderful. The whole family enjoyed playing ping pong and volleyball in the evening. Highly recommend staying here.

Quiet Mornings

Oh the quiet mornings! We started our mornings with coffee & a light breakfast from the small kitchen nook that we took outside to enjoy the hummingbirds, ducks and occasional brood of turkeys! Perfect location! Far enough outside of town that the stars were vivid, but close enough to enjoy a nice restaurant.

Lovely property and area!

We stayed here with four teens. This was a very pick overnight stop between towns as we traveled for two weeks to several states and national parks. We arrived later than anticipated. We had a couple of hiccups during the stay but overall the hosts were very helpful, the property is beautiful and the town adorable! We would love to return.

Kris and I were able to communicate easily through the VRBO chat feature. She was very attentive and responsive in tracking down a pack and play for us! The setting is lovely, great for small children to explore (supervised) with animals and a pond.

Beautiful Property!

This ranch is absolutely beautiful! Convenient location. I would love to come back when they weren't host prom to be able to explore a little more. Since quite time starts at 10 the high schoolers mostly cleared out by 10 but whichever kids were staying in the large house did not get the memo... I would, in the future, ask that any special events be communicated upon booking but overall I would absolutely stay here again.

Spring break getaway

We came up here to start spring break off with a little vacation. We brought our 3 kids, ages 11-16, and we all had a great time. The cottage was adorable, the outside area was beautiful and the owners were responsive and helpful but not micromanaging. My son loved playing with the basketball hoop and my girls loved running around the field. We were able to use the fire pit to relax the first night. It was easy to get to Rifle and Glenwood. We will be back!

Beautiful property

Our overall stay was good. We were able to utilize the firepit and roast marshmallows for samores with the kids and the stars were amazing to gaze at! Communication with the host could have been better. We couldnt get the television to work in the main area and tried to reach out and never recieved a response so we were not able to use that during our stay.The bed in cottage 1 was not comfortable and very noisy. The bed in cottage 2 was good. Make sure to bring all utensils with you that you will need if warming up food as there is none. We would love to visit again in the future it was fun taking the kids around the property to look at the animals which were lambs, turkeys and horses. Thanks for hosting us. except coffee glasses.
