Kidd Island (CDA) Lakefront Beauty-Amazing views!

Kidd Island Beauty is a perfect getaway in the summer or winter. In the summer use the shared dock to access the water by paddle to explore around peaceful Kidd Island Bay or bring your boat to adventure around the main lake. Sunbathe on the expansive upper deck or read in the shade of the lower deck. Both have amazing views of the water and CDA resort! In the winter, cozy up by the fireplace and enjoy the view. If you are up for a little adventure downhill skiing is less than an hour away at Silver Mountain. There is great snowshoeing nearby on Tubbs Hill and cross country skiing at 4th ofJuly pass(about 45 mins away).

The fully stocked kitchen will make meal prep easy, just bring your favorite ingredients. Upstairs is a table that can comfortably seat the whole family as well as a nice island with barstools to sit and chat while meals are being prepped. Downstairs there is room for the kids to play or for everyone to cozy up and watch a movie. The firepit by the water is a perfect place to gather in the evening to roast marshmallows.

No matter the season the easy drive to downtown CDA puts loads of fun shops, restaurants, antiquing, and art galleries at your fingertips. There is a spa at the CDA resort along with elegant dining and stunning views. The floating boardwalk is a treat anytime, but especially during the holiday season when it is decorated with thousands of fun light displays.

Our property is equipped with a doorbell camera as well as a camera that monitors the driveway.

Lake CdA has summer recreational water levels from approximately May 15th and begins to lower after Labor Day.

Wonderful home and location

Love this beautiful bright and airy home. Kidd Island location is perfect because of peacefulness , views and proximity to CDA and great beaches.

Second stay

Our experience this year was every bit as good as last year's visit to the area, in this same house. We love everything about the property -- from the layout to the attention paid to all the details. Wonderful stay!

Another Great Lake Vacation

2nd Annual Family Lake house and again it did not disappoint! Always Clean and Comfortable and well stoked with everything you will need! Danica was always a phone call/text away when needed! Shared dock can be tricky with other rental house but with good communication it’s not a problem at all!Highly Recommend

Beautiful Property .. great location right on the lake

We were traveling for a work install and the home worked out perfect for 5 coworkers. There was plenty of room for each of us to have private space and still be able to all come together for meals and time spent together enjoying the views from the deck. The dock and kayaks were an extra bonus! The host Danica was great at communicating and the house was stocked with everything we needed. Great property and host!!. Thank you

One of the best stays ever!

We have been staying with VRBOs for over ten years and this was the best house! The pictures do not do justice to the house or to the views. They were amazing. The house was spotlessly clean and extremely well stocked with everything a family could need. The beds were all very comfortable and there was plenty of towels, toys, games, and hot water. Check in and check out was very easy and the check out cleaning instructions were quite reasonable. Communication with the Host was prompt and helpful with great tips on where to eat and for a boat rental. 10/10 highly recommend!!

Wonderful house and host!

The house was wonderful: amazing views, clean, lovely and comfortable furnishings, well stocked everything-kitchen, outdoor stuff, towels, and other supplies, so many fun games everywhere! The host was excellent: great communication and very thoughtful. We very much felt home owners put a lot of thought and consideration into making sure we enjoyed ourselves. Consider yourself lucky if you are able to rent this house!

Another Excellent Stay!

This is the 2nd time I've stayed in this property and I hope to do it again! This home has everything you could possibly want in a lake-house and more. The amenities/extras of this house are excellent; the kitchen specifically has everything you could need. The pictures really do not do it justice - it is spacious with excellent views and a location that is convenient to CDA both by boat and car. The host has clear and fast communication. The house was very clean. We really enjoyed our time!

More than I hoped for

After a 5-minute walk-through at arrival, I immediately called the agent to reserve this home for next year for twice the number of days. This is a great home, with a beautiful view and despite being snuggled between two homes, plenty of privacy. We had four grown men visiting for a golf excursion, but this would be fine for a family or two. Don't wait!

Lakeside Gem!!

I stayed here with my wife two kids, my friend, his wife and his mother, the house was perfectly set up for toddlers and adults. No detail was left out for us tired parents. Awesome little nook, full of toys for the kids to be entertained for hours, a spare stroller and highchair. They even had child gates for the stairs, which was super helpful. The location was stellar, had an opportunity to use the hot tub, the kayaks, the paddle boards, even the fire pit to make s’mores, really took advantage of all the amenities. Highly recommend if staying in Coeur d’Alene, This is the place to be. Only 15 minutes into town, but great to have the privacy and peace and quiet, not having to worry about the boat traffic. Absolutely loved upstate Idaho.

The best by far

This house surpassed any VRBO stay I've had by a long shot. It was decorated and furnished in the way that I would hope my own home to be. Imagine that you might need something in the house. It would be there. There were kayaks and paddle boards for use on the lake. There were games to play. Ceour d'Alene was 20 -25 minutes away for shopping, restaurants, or just visiting. And yet while sitting on the deck of the house, you could hear the quiet. It was a wonderful week.

Amazing Lakefront Property

What a wonderful family friendly lakeside home! communication with Danica even before arrival was amazing and she continue to communicate quickly and thoroughly through our stay! This home has absolutely everything you will need from young children-teens to adults! The amenities provided are TOO many to list that’s how well equipped this home is. I gave it 4 stars for description accuracy only because this home is WAY more impressive IN PERSON and the pictures do Not do it justice! From the moment u walk in, it’s SO clean and nicely decorated and then the View hits you with a spectacular surprise! Can’t wait to come back next year! The best Lakeside VRBO we have rented so far! Great week exploring the lake and fishing

The home was spacious with excellent views. The home was well equipped with everything one would need. Bonuses were a dock, with many toys like kayaks, paddle boards, yard games and best of all a hot tub with a lake view. Danica was an excellent host answered any and all questions we had which were not many as the house is everything and more as described in the listing. If you have younger children many toys and even with older children plenty of board games, and the basketball hoop game was a hit with our son and his college friend. We did not get to use the fire pit but I guess we will just need to come back. Thank you for a wonderful week you have a great home

What an amazing week!

We just retuned home after a week at beautiful Coeur d’Alene. We had a wonderful time and felt at home in this beautiful house. Our three grown kids plus spouses and grandkids join us on vacation each summer and we always stay at a VRBO. Hands down this was the best yet - a great house for us to relax and feel like we were “home”. Danika was great to work with and provided excellent communication. The layout of the house was perfect for our group of 10. It was very easy to find a place for some quiet and also nice spaces to gather as a group. The outdoor area was awesome. Nice furniture on the deck, hot tub, dock, kayaks, fire pit - everything needed to have an enjoyable time. We rented a pontoon boat one day and got to explore the lake. Highly recommend! We spent a lot of time on the deck watching the osprey - the binoculars were great! Honestly, can’t say enough good things. We hope to come back again!

Best Rental Ever!

Our 7 night stay in this superior property was wonderful and I just can't say enough about our positive experience. Filled with thoughtful amenities (including sleep masks, and fans in every room), this property was comfortable and had everything we could have possibly needed. From the 5 kayaks (2 for kids), 2 paddleboards, and at least 20 life vests of all sizes, second fridge/freezer in laundry room, a well stocked pantry, basketball arcade game and cute trundle bed room with 4 bunk beds, including 1 double bed, our of party of 9 had the best vacation in years. Danica was incredibly responsive and really cared about making sure we had everything we needed. She even had additional ice cube trays delivered the next day when the ice machine couldn't keep up with demand. I am recommending this Kidd Island lakefront home to all my friends and family. We will be back!

Amazing!!

We absolutely loved this property!! It was warm, inviting, cozy and had beautiful views. They thought of every accommodation you could think of in the house, and the owner was extremely friendly. She gave us great ideas to entertain our little ones and was very accommodating. We look forward to rebooking for next year!

This was our second stay at Danica's lake house. We came again because we had such great memories from our first visit. We weren't disappointed. The house, location, and proximity are amazing. Communication with Danica was great. Highly recommended!

Wonderful rental!

This home was even better than we had anticipated. The three levels gave the nine of us ample room to either spend time together or on our own. The hot tub was utilized regularly, as were the kayaks. The kitchen was nicely supplied with everything we could have needed. Beds were comfortable, views were spectacular - and Danica was prompt in answering any questions we had. Would definitely love to rent this home again.

Every detail addressed

Beautiful home on a great property overlooking the lake; with a view all the way to the resort. Danica has thought of, and addressed every detail. We (9 adults, 2 children) thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We'll be back.

Amazing house and views of the lake!

This house was our favorite stay on the lake yet! Plenty of room for our group of 10, house was set up great for guests, and host was a great communicator. Highly recommend!

Definitely worth the wait

What great house and host! Each year we (4 couples) pick a place to go and we were originally supposed to be here in 2021. Danica was super flexible and let us move our reservation to 2022 without any issues. Perfect location, we had access to the dock with our boat and explored the lake and used the kayaks provided. The games downstairs were fun for friendly competition. Definitely a return destination. We met some of the neighbors who were very helpful and gave us some local tips for food and entertainment.

Excellent choice

We docked a boat, used the paddle boards, made s’mores, enjoyed dinners with the great kitchen, played games in the game room and mostly enjoyed the peacefulness of the view from the deck. Thank you!
