The house was perfect for our family. The kids loved the pool table and it was spacious for us to be comfortable. Really close to both Boone and Blowing Rock. We will be back!

Fun and Relaxing Weekend

We had a great time at the cabin! The location was amazing; perfect for hitting the slopes without having to struggle through traffic. We especially enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub and had an overall lovely time.

Great Stay

Very convenient to both Boone and Blowing Rock and very easy to get to the property. The property is in great condition with everything you could need for a stay in the mountains. Highly recommend!

Excellent mountain location in October.

The place was a good fit for our mens getaway and has a great view. The place was clean and well taken care of and we enjoyed the fire pit.

Great location for Tweetsie, Blowing Rock, Boone

Great view, nice 1/4 mile loop to walk with kids in the morning/evening. Location is central to both Boone and Blowing Rock. Host is very responsive and check-in was flawless.Ideal for 3 small families, the kind-sized bedrooms and bunks for kids worked perfectly for our party of 12.

wonderful location

This house was absolutely wonderful in many ways. Spacious, clean, nicely decorated and conveniently located. We brought our elderly parents here for their 60th anniversary and they loved every minute of it.

Amazing Place!

The property and experience was perfect. The host was incredible to work with from start to finish. The house is a three level house at the top of the mountain. The kids loved the pool table, hot tub, and game cabinet. Awesome property.

We went to Blowing Rock to take grandkids ro Tweetsie. What a wonderful time. The house was clean comfortable. More than adequate space. Quiet neighborhood. Would definitely stay again.

Great for family trip

The house was perfect for our family of 6 adults and two children. The kitchen was well stocked and there was plenty of space for all of us to dine or play games. The house was clean and had individual, unopened supplies for each bathroom and kitchen.

Amazing Stay for my 40th Birthday

My husband, our two young boys, and myself took a trip to the mountains to celebrate my 40th birthday. We had a wonderful stay! The house was beautiful and clean and cozy. The boys loved the hot tub. We loved looking for deer every night. The view was fantastic. It was a short drive into the cute little town of Blowing Rock. There were plenty of food places and shops and grocery stores around. It was absolutely perfect! Highly suggest a stay here. You will not be disappointed.

Very disappointing experience

I reserved this property for Thanksgiving 2024 weekend for my family of 13. We arrived around 6 pm Wednesday and everything was fine. On Thanksgiving Day we had reservations for lunch. When we returned from lunch the house smelled of an electrical fire . We called the fire department but they couldn’t determine the cause. The fire department spoke with the homeowner and told him he needed to get an electrician and a plumber to check out what was causing the burning smell .Being it was Thanksgiving Day, he couldn’t get anyone to check it out until the next day. We could not put the children to bed not knowing if the odor was toxic and take the chance of our family not waking up in the morning, so we packed up and headed home (3 hour drive) I don’t believe anyone in this situation would have put their children to bed under these circumstances. If the fire department could have pinpointed the cause and assured us it was safe to stay in the house, we would have stayed as we had looked forward to our vacation for months. We are so disappointed that our Thanksgiving trip was ruined.

Beautiful getaway

My family- from NY - and my brothers family - from South Carolina- met here to celebrate my brothers birthday. The owner was super accommodating, the property was beautiful with breathtaking views. Everything was perfect.

Great location

Nice property close by App Mtn ski resort. We had deer and turkeys in the backyard in the evenings. If you have a large group it’s not very open for everyone to gather together in one room but it worked us.

really enjoyed our time--everyone had their own room with bathroom--kitchen was easy to work in--lots of pots, pans, dishes, glasses. hot tub was fun--did a jigsaw puzzle--ate outside every night--beds were comfortable--5 minutes from Tweetsie Railroad

Nice Summer Weekend

Nice house on App Ski Mountain with room for 8 women guests. The tankless water heater insured plenty of hot water for showers. With our work schedules, we appreciated that they allowed us to come for only two nights. We had a little problem with the door code initially, but the owner returned our call instantly and reprogramed the lock.
