Sweeping Ocean Views from Renovated Top Floor Unit

Welcome to beautiful ocean views in sunny Poipu where you can watch the waves breaking at Brennecke’s Beach from the comfort of your home! Our condo has one of the best views in Kahala at Poipu Kai and is located on the greenbelt walking path with easy access to nearby restaurants and several beaches. The short walk to Brennecke’s Beach and Poipu Beach Park will take 5-10 minutes and Shipwreck’s Beach at The Grand Hyatt is a 10 minute walk. You will know you are in Hawaii the moment you step foot in our unit and see the palm trees swaying, feel the ocean breeze and experience one of Poipu’s epic sunsets from the lanai.

Our 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom unit is on the top (third) floor and has vaulted ceilings and a lanai with sweeping ocean views. Please note there is no elevator. The bedroom has a new CA King Tempurpedic medium firm bed. There is air conditioning in the bedroom while the rest of the unit has windows that allow for excellent trade winds. Additionally, there is a queen pull-out sleeper sofa in the living room should you desire 2 beds. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to make you feel right at home and there are several Weber grills for your use throughout the property. When you are not out and about exploring Kauai, you will enjoy relaxing at our condo and taking in the beautiful ocean views!
Lastly, you have access to two pools on property as well as the Poipu Kai Tennis Courts.

Our condo is 100% owner operated meaning we personally take care of everything from cleaning to management of the property. We live on island and will be able to assist immediately should you have questions throughout your stay! First time on Kauii

This was a great place to stay! The location was within a short walks’ distance to beaches, great snorkeling, and relatively short drives to beautiful hikes. The pool, pickleball courts, and restaurant in the resort were an additional perk. Gorgeous sunsets that we viewed from our balcony! The sunscreen, wagon, beach chairs, pickleball equipment, games, books etc. were such a thoughtful addition as well. We really had a lovely stay and would stay again.

A perfect Poipu Kai paradise

Hands down, this condo is the most nicely appointed, cleanest stay we’ve ever had, anywhere in the world. It makes such a huge difference when the owners also clean and maintain the property! Not a thing is out of place or missing, and the location could not be more perfect. We never used the air conditioning, the condo is perfectly ventilated. Sunsets were fantastic. We’ve stayed at quite a few different Poipu Kai properties, and this one is far and away the best. We can’t wait to come back!

A wonderful stay

This is a spectacular property. Every detail was met. Jake and Jenny are fantastic hosts and they made sure our visit to Kauai was special. Views, amenities, and comfort were all top shelf. Can’t say enough about our visit.

Wonderful stay at our favorite location!

We loved our stay in your beautiful condo! The condo was clean and equipped with all the essentials we needed for our beach activities. Our favorite part was sitting out on the lanai enjoying the spectacular ocean view! We appreciated your thoughtfulness in leaving fruit on the counter and cocktails in the frig. We are already looking forward to our next stay in this perfect setting!

Extremely well appointed!

This condo was extremely well appointed. Had everything we needed to make a nice meal and relax on the lanai to enjoy the amazing view. The bed was so comfortable too! Managers respond quickly to any questions too!!

Best spot in Poipu

We absolutely loved the location of this condo. Quick walk to the beach and neighboring resorts. The condo came with everything we could've possibly needed and felt like home. It was clean and comfortable for our week long stay. We could've stayed longer.

Amazing views, exceptionally clean

The views from the balcony are amazing! Sunset can be seen every day and you’re more private than those in the lower floors. Walk to the playground and beach is really easy, there’s even a wagon provided. Property was exceptionally clean, more than most places we’ve seen. Lots of amenities, games, books provided. Great stay!

Great setting, lovely view, lots of aloha

Loved the view of the well manicured grounds and the waves in the distance. The unit was everything promised in the write up, and more. The owners included many thoughtful touches including plenty of beach gear, and even a bowl of fresh picked citrus. Appreciated that the condo kitchen was well stocked, including plenty of kitchen gear and serving bowls. Lovely stay. Mahalo!

Perfect place in Poipu!

We stayed here to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. It was absolutely perfect & if we ever come back I would stay here again. I am a clean freak & this place was immaculate. Loved the extras they provided; from coffee, to sunscreen, kitchen utensils, laundry detergent, beach towels, insulated drink glasses to a wagon full of beach chairs & umbrella! We used it all & thankful for everything they thought to include. Then there’s the location & amenities. Short walk to the beach, pools & eating places. Loved every minute of every day here.

Perfect honeymoon

Really beautiful property. Had everything we could have wanted. Walking distance to restaurants (we liked to go to kalapaki joes and brenneckes beach broiler for happy hour). Kitchen is fully stocked. We liked to go down to poipu beach to watch the sunset most nights. Central location to drive to port allen (boat tours start here) or day trip to the canyon or north side. Everything you need to go to the beach for the day or if you're looking for something easier the pool was a 2 min walk.

Perfect Location!!

This property will not disappoint in any way. The unit is updated and very clean! Everything we needed was made available for a great week away from home. The photos on line are perfect! Can’t beat the ocean views from the lanai. We had the perfect sunset view night after night. This will be our first option any time we find ourselves back in Kauai. Hats off to the hosts! Jake was very accessible and we so appreciated the fresh citrus they left for us to enjoy!

Breathtaking sunsets

The space was more grand and the views were more beautiful than we could expect. Impressive high ceilings, aesthetically pleasant and very comfortable furniture, fully stoked kitchen with everything we needed and more, made for a great experience staying in this wonderful condo. We walked to three different beach and the kids enjoyed the pool as well. Jake’s recommendations for local restaurants and activities were on point but I would highly recommend to do advanced reservations (like a week ahead for dinners and few weeks for tours and activities such luau) Five stars!

Wonderful First Trip to Kauai

We LOVED our stay at Jake's property on Kauai. The unit was above and beyond clean, the views were better than advertised, and the grounds were beautiful. Jake was very responsive to a minor parking issue we had the first day. The unit had nice towels, toilet paper, king sized memory foam bed, and paper towels. We ended up not using the AC because the breeze coming through the unit kept the temperature comfortable. While we could hear some of the traffic on the main road, we were never disrupted by any neighbors. I wish I could give this place six stars, we definitely would love to come back!

Great place to stay

We had a wonderful time. This is definitely one of the best condos in this development. Great view of the ocean from the balcony. All the units are situated in a nicely landscaped, well maintained park like environment. It was very quiet and relaxing. The only negative was the noise from the proximity of the main Street. It's only noticeable in the bedroom and needed a little getting used to at night, since I'm a light sleeper. Otherwise everything was perfect. The condo is very well equipped, especially the kitchen had everything you could possibly need including some basics such as oil, spices, etc. A very nice gesture was the coffee supply for our entire 10 day stay, as well as a welcome surprise of a bottle of wine, some island cocktails and fresh fruit. The owner was very approachable and easy to communicate with. Thank you for making our Kauai experience a wonderful one. I highly recommend this place.

Highly recommend, we will book again

We loved everything about this third-floor condo. As we walked up the entry steps there were flower petals on the steps, almost like our path was strewn with rose petals. As soon we walked in, we were drawn to the ocean view across the lovely resort grounds. We had complete privacy on our lanai (patio) with a dining table for two and two chase lounges. The bedroom had a king size firm, wonderfully comfortable bed under a huge, quiet ceiling fan, great cross ventilation, and privacy shades. There was an air conditioner too just in case, but fresh island trade winds were what we wanted. There are two large screen TVs, one in the bedroom and the other in the living room. The living room had high vaulted ceilings and a comfortable sleeper sofa. The quality furniture throughout and island-themed art was lovely and welcoming. The bathroom has a huge walk-in shower with a rain shower and handheld. The kitchen was complete in every way. The on-island hosts thought of everything with beach towels, chairs, cooler, umbrella, suntan lotion, and even a little wagon to pull it all to the nearby beach. The highlight was certainly the sunny Poipu location. It was less than 5 minutes to walk to the beach for swimming, surfing, snorkeling, and a nice restaurant too. Our sunset pictures were fantastic, and at night we reclined in the chases, gazed at the stars while listening to the ocean…. in complete seclusion.
