My wife and I recently stayed at this condo for a week in Kauai. We typically stay on the North Shore, so it was nice to explore Poipu and Koloa. This condo was a wonderful find. As a couple, we had more space than we needed, but we booked specifically for the expansive balcony — and it delivered. We started every morning with coffee and breakfast outside, and ended each evening with piña coladas watching the sunset. The ocean view is oblique rather than direct, but this turned out to be an advantage — the balcony stayed sheltered from sun, wind, and rain, making it enjoyable even during the occasional shower.The condo is very well appointed. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, a coffee maker, blender, and — very practically — plenty of Tupperware. The included beach gear was a standout: chairs, an umbrella, multiple sets of snorkel masks and fins, and a cooler. Having everything on hand made beach days effortless.The condo was spotlessly clean on arrival, and host Ashley was extremely responsive, making check-in and check-out seamless.We would happily stay here again.

The place was perfect! Exactly as advertised. We were a family of 4 with 2 high school aged daughters and all of us loved the place. The patio overlooking the water was a great way to end every night. The hosts were very responsive prior to our stay which put us at ease. Will absolutely stay here again.

Awesome place

Great condo - we loved the balcony and ate outside frequently. Kitchen was well stocked. We also really liked the close walk to Shipwreck beach

The condo was great! It was well appointed and even the beach gear was in good shape. The common areas were spacious - actually everything was spacious. We picked this one for the lanai space and furniture and it did not disappoint. Thanks!

We had a wonderful time in Kauai. This condo was exactly as described. It was furnished with everything we needed. We appreciated all of the little touches like phone chargers in the rooms and all of the beach gear. The hosts responded immediately when we had questions. We highly recommend this condo!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would come back. Appreciated AC in the bedrooms that helped us sleep, but it was so pleasant to let the breeze blow through the living area during the day. The lanai/balcony is sheltered from the trade winds so we could sit outside at all hours even during the brief rains. Thankful that the hosts provided snorkels, chairs, cooler, Brita filter pitcher, well-equipped kitchen - we hate the eco-waste of having to buy a bunch of stuff at the start of a vacay then leave it behind. We walked to local beaches drove to east north shores. Parking right in front of condo. If you're planning to cook to save money, recommend planning meals ahead of time buying groceries in Lihue - the local markets are either very expensive or not well stocked. Also recommend eating out in Old Town Koloa and and locally run places instead of the nearby mall or hotels - food just as good and not as overpriced. Snorkeling at Poipu was kind of a bust due to the crowds (in July) - we had better results at Anini Beach on the north shore.

Perfect Stay

This is a really comfortable place. Location is awesome, easy walk to the beach. The pool is a really nice temperature. We used the grill just in front of the unit a couple times and it was great.

The condo was very nice and in a great location right next to the Grand Hyatt. If we come back to Poipu we will definitely be staying here.

Relaxing & wonderful vacation

Poipu Sands condo is just lovely with beautiful grounds and fabulous pool. We loved the location so close to the beach and walking trails, and loved the grilling area and the condo's large patio where we relaxed and watched the turtles surfing in the waves. We highly recommend this condo and the hosts were so helpful and have thought of everything!

Great location in Poipu

Ashley and Haythem’s condo is located directly next to the Grand Hyatt and is perfectly situated in Poipu. Huge lanai with a broad ocean view allows one to watch the sunrise in the morning or whale watch. Great for enjoying the ocean breeze while getting out of the midday sun. Highly recommend and would stay there again.
