Welcome to the Irish Channel, an ideal location in the heart of Uptown New Orleans, steps away from Magazine Street and just about everything the city has to offer.

Perfect spot in garden district

Most amazing quaint cottage off the bustling magazine street. Felt like you were part of the neighborhood. House was beautiful and clean. Lovely beds and quality linens. Ian was a very gracious host. Will be back next time!

Marvelous Magazine Street

We loved this property so very much. Great location, off Magazine Street, near great restaurants, bars and shops.Such a fun area! House was very clean and comfortable and decorated beautiful. Manager was easy to reach and very helpful! We had two couples and were very comfortable.

Great home, great area

This is a great home in a wonderful area. Beds are very comfortable. It’s a whole different New Orleans experience to be one block off Magazine St - one we much prefer. So many restaurants, bars, shops, grocery, bakeries, coffee shops, etc that you can walk to and just wander around. We absolutely loved it. Ian is a great host.

NOLA Stay - Garden District

The property is very close to Magazine Street which provides easy access to the Garden District and the bus line if the group wants to visit Canal Street. The furnishings are high-end, and the off-street parking is truly an asset. The host was very communicative and attentive throughout the process. My family and I would not hesitate to book this property again. Great for families of all ages!

The host was excellent with all communications. The home was just “as advertised”; everything worked; it was very clean and freshly appointed, painted, etc and we had a very comfortable stay. The off-street parking and proximity to shops, etc. were also added benefits

Irish Channel gem

This is a beautiful house in a great neighborhood. We easily walked to excellent restaurants, shopped and had cocktails. There was a drug store and grocery just a couple of blocks away—easy walk. Gated parking on site. We had everything we needed for a lovely weekend.

Great Experience in NOLA

The home was very welcoming with many amenities to make our stay very enjoyable. Really close to Magazine Street which was very convenient. Home was clean and comfortable.

Wonderful location and house

We had a lovely visit stay at this property. The property was as listed. Clean and comfortable with nice large beds. Good location just off Magazine. Happy to stay here again.

Fantastic!!

The home was centrally located just off Magazine St and immaculate! It also was so quiet at night, perfect for relaxing and sleeping well. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We parked our car in the secure driveway and walked everywhere all week!! Look forward to returning and staying in the same house.

Upscale Home Away from Home

This home was incredibly comfortable, and we loved being walking distance to the coffee shops and boutiques on Magazine Street. The elevated design and spaciousness of the home made for an experience way better than a hotel. The best part, though, was the communication with the owner. He made sure we had all the information we needed, checked in to make sure we were all right after we arrived, and even made some calls in the city for us. Highly recommend!

Fabulous stay!

Look no further as Ian’s VRBO is amazing! Perfect location for exploring NOLA with lots of restaurants, cafes, funky stores, pubs and a grocery store in walking distance. Awesome to stay in a quieter area after the business of the French Quarter. The house is as beautiful as the photos, has extremely comfortable beds and all the amenities you need to feel right at home. Very safe area! We will definitely book again on our next trip to NOLA! Thank you Ian your beautiful place was the perfect stay for us!

Wonderful home

Perfect location for our families trip to New Orleans. Off street secure parking was a nice addition. House was stocked with everything needed for a short stay. Ian was a great communicator and very accommodating when our dates shifted. Would highly recommend

Great place to explore Garden District

My wife and I stayed here for two weeks in between my Krewe’s open house and Mardi Gras. Two friends joined us for a few days. House worked extremely well. Great location for long walks and very close to good bars and restaurants. Walked up to parades and streetcars on st Charles. Ian was attentive and responsive. We had no issues. Beds very comfortable and common areas were well appointed and were conducive to work, hanging out or watching TV. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Stay!

Loved Ian's house! Great attention to detail. He was very on top of communication and making sure we had everything we needed. Ton's of space and light. Perfect location to walk to shops and restaurants on Magazine and catch the street car on St. Charles.

Safe and cozy home

Clean, roomy, cozy, comfortable, tastefully decorated. Safe neighborhood within walking distance of great restaurants, bars, and shopping. Loved being able to set alarm when leaving the home.

Beautiful house in a great location

I loved the house, you can tell the owner put a lot into it. Location was great, there are plenty of places to walk to and a great organic juice bar a block away.

Perfect location

This house is an oasis of calm in a vibrant neighborhood! Very thoughtful details like coffee, shampoo and conditioner, soft bedding and mattresses. The location is great because magazine street is 2 blocks away and has everything. Check out the local bar, Parasols. Ian was responsive and helpful. Great host.

Great Property

We really enjoyed our stay here over Spring Break. We were travelling with two kids under 10 and the house was exactly what we were looking for. It was clean, well-furnished, and safe. We drove, so gated parking was great and also allowed us to drive to city park, swamp tour, etc. At same time neighborhood had lots within walking distance and short uber to Quarter/CBD. Would definitely recommend to friends.

Gorgeous home!

Fabulous time staying here. Renovations and decorating seriously top notch. Easy Uber ride to the Quarter and nice to be away from that area in the evening. Also a handful of blocks from several nice restaurants and bars. Would highly recommend for a visit to the Big Easy.
