Great location

Loved the location right in the sand and close to grocery stores and local restaurants. Appreciate the binder with local information - the recommended sushi place was a favorite. We could hear the sea lions barking from the house and they’re a short walk away on the beach!

The perfect little beach house

This is the perfect little beach house. The house is so comfortable and the beach decor is so cute. All of the furniture including beds and couches are super comfortable. The place was very clean and we'll maintained. The best part is that you are right on the sand. I literally can't wait to go again!

Return visit

This was our second time staying at this location and it did not disappoint. The house is in a quite neighborhood and on the sand ! Overall the experience was great ! We will be returning again.

A beautiful bungalow!

Waking up each morning to the beach right outside our door was amazing! The bungalow was spotless, very well appointed and the perfect place to come back and relax in after a day in the sand/water. The outdoor seating area facing the beach was perfect for sunsets.....and the seating area in front was perfect for our nightly bbqs. We can't wait to come back!

Calm little cottage by the sea.

The location could not get better with this sweet little home. The home was perfect for our needs. It was an easy check in process. The home was clean and well thought out for guests. They left a handy information book that was impressive. The space felt like home. I would recommend this home.

Charming cottage

We absolutely loved our stay in this charming beach cottage! It was just the right size for our family of 4, and we LOVED that it was right on the beach. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking, and the beds were comfy. It was so convenient and close to the marina for us to do fun activities on the water. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you!

Magic on the beach!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: From the minute I walked into this beautiful little house on the beach I forgot all my problems and had an incredible time. My favorite spot was the breakfast nook with bench seating. It was perfect for eating as well as doing work on my laptop. The house is very clean and cozy plus so peaceful with the beach right at my doorstep. I took many walks and loved that there was a market nearby. Thank you for sharing this perfect spot.

Wonderful cozy stay on the beach!

It was the perfect size for myself and my husband, and we really enjoyed the incredible location directly on the sand! Nothing beats looking out your window to see a beautiful stretch of quiet white beach. The home was stocked very well, clean, updated, and comfortable. We walked to the marina and enjoyed several of the nearby eateries and the Sunday Farmer's Market. Would love to return here again soon. Thank you to the management who went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful time!

Summer break

With high temps of 65° During our July visit, this was the best escape from our 113° temps at home. The back porch leads to the beach where we spent hours watching boats and playing in the sand. The beach wasn’t busy at all. There are restaurants and museums nearby, with some in walking distance. This was a perfect getaway home.

Spectacular

Simple beach cottage with two bedrooms, one bath, and the beach right off the back porch. The house was perfect for my family and we wish we never had to leave. Splash in the ocean, explore the dunes, watch the sunset, and then listen to the waves as you drift off to sleep. What else could you ask for?

Hollywood beach cottage

The neighborhood was great, and safe. Excellent location. However, there were not enough towels and washcloths for the duration of our stay. Sheets were not fresh. Overall, odor of all linens was not fresh/clean. The age and condition of home was showing. It was a good experience overall but for the price I might have elected to stay at a home with a better view and more luxury.

Nice weekend at the beach

The house was nice, had a few glitches… When you sat in the living room, you can't see the water because the sand is higher than the window. Also, no electrical outlet in the bathroom and most of the electrical outlets in the house are very loose, so it was hard to keep anything plugged in. But the furniture was comfortable, kitchen was nice, no air-conditioning, but windows were opened and it was fine. Great location, great dog friendly beach.

The perfect weekend

My family and I really enjoyed our weekend getaway. The fireplace was my absolute favorite and made relaxing in the living room more pleasant. The neighborhood was very quiet. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to cook all our meals. One plus, was the dishwasher - which in my experience is not a standard feature in past homes we've rented. My children loved that they were able to walk right out on the sand. There was even sand toys available for them to use. My children are already asking when they can go back to the the blue beach house!

Great little house

We stay at the beach in Oxnard a LOT, always in rental houses. This rental is probably the best one we've ever had, and that's really saying something. It is adorable and perfect for a family of four. I love the room with the twin beds, because our kids would much rather sleep in twin beds than share a bed. The beach access is amazing, you just walk from the deck right onto the beach, and it is at the very southern end of Hollywood Beach, which is very quiet. The house was spotlessly clean and it was very easy to communicate with the property manager via text. The security deposit was promptly returned to us, in full, within about 2 weeks.

Teal me in house

The location is perfect. Literally right on the beach! This home was very clean and nicely decorated. Beds slept comfortably. There are 4 plastic beach chairs that can be carried out on the beach. That is the only extra amenity. The guest bedroom needs a black out curtain because outside string lights and porch lighting do not turn off, making the guest room very bright. My party of four only had 3 towels and 1 washcloth. There is no washer and dryer. Great views right on the beach and clean house
