Minutes away from the baseball and basketball stadiums; the museum district; cultural attractions; St. Joseph's Hospital and Barrow Neurological Institute. A short 1/2 block walk to the Encanto/Central Avenue light rail station allows for easy access from the airport. The perfect location for parents to visit college students at Grand Canyon University and Arizona State University. The casita is quiet and on a pretty palm-tree-lined street with Tudors, Bungalows, and Spanish Colonials.

(-) The guest house is a separate entity located behind the main house.
(-) There are security recording devices on the property.

(-) We have a very friendly, one-year-old mini Goldendoodle named Kramer. He loves belly scratches.

First time in Phoenix

Beautiful property in the historic district. The rental was perfect for 2 people. Had all the amenities needed. Highly recommend it!

Perfect!

We were in town for a concert and were clueless of where a good location to stay would be. This property was close to the airport, light rail, and concert! This would be a great place in a cute little area on a dead end road, to stay for a game. Hosts were easy to contact and very helpful with questions we had about getting around downtown. We would definitely stay here again.

This was a sweet little casita that was perfect for 2. We had a rental car so it was easy to get around and the casita was centrally located. Bed was really comfy and everything you might need was supplied. Really a great space!

Short work trip

Short trip to Phoenix by myself for a work trip. Perfect for me. Close to many things - I chose to Uber since it was still quite warm and I was dressed business casual. Very clean!

Excellent stay

A wonderfully clean and beautiful well-stocked casita with a comfy bed and everything you need! The light rail is very close and easy to use. I can’t recommend this property highly enough!

Great rental near hospital

Nice casita in walking distance from the hospital. Great for a long term stay if you can deal with not having a washer/dryer/oven. Clean, enough space for one person, great hosts.

Amazing first experience!

This was an amazing stay.The location was a great area and close to where we were hanging out for the weekend. This was a spur of the moment travel decision and finding a location that was close to downtown at an extremely reasonable price. If there a future trips to Phoenix I hope we can be lucky again. This place was a gem!

downtown ease at a cute place

My teen son and I had a great 2 night stay. We took the light rail to a D-backs game in the evening and a conference during the day. Great place. Lovely location amongst historic home. Easy parking. It's a keeper! I only wish there was a freezer to keep cooler packs cold.

Beautiful property

We were very impressed with the organization of the unit and all of the information provided. No detail was forgotten, it seems, from wonderful snacks to an extra fan in the linen closet! Highly recommend!

Phoenix Phase of our Big Cacti Vacation

The casita was perfect for our short stay at the end of our Arizona Big Cacti vacation. The location is great, located in a wonderful neighborhood. The casita is very comfortable and well-designed. Our hosts were very welcoming. We would highly recommend it to friends visiting Phoenix.

Great place! Quiet neighborhood!

Place met all of our needs! We weren’t there during the day, but perfect place to unwind after a long day! Place was very clean and well kept. Beautiful little outdoor space to sit and relax. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful little hacienda behind owners home. Feels safe and secure. In a beautiful neighborhood. Quiet, peaceful. Short walk to food and transportation. I loved it and hope to come back.

Perfect place

The cleanliness is off the charts this place is perfect. It’s like your own studio apartment, easy in and out and very nice. The hosts are very easy to work with, and provide as much privacy as you’d like. Even though it’s on the property it does not feel intrusive at all. Only met him once because we both happened to get back at the same time and very nice and personable. Loved my stay, happy I picked it and would absolutely stay again if I was coming through Phoenix.

Charming Casita

Private casita set among bougainvillea and geraniums; start the day with sounds of mourning doves, wind chimes, and gurgling fountain. Refresh and renew in the sun; easy access to light rail to and from airport. Historic neighborhood of charming homes; within walking distance of many ethnic restaurants. Hosts are welcoming and unobtrusive.

Spring Training Trip

Better than expected ✨

This darling place was perfect for our stay! The hosts were friendly and the place was seriously adorable and clean. Furnishings and kitchen were well thought out and comfortable. Close to downtown but on a quiet street. We walked to the public transit and easily found our way around. Definitely recommend this one and will plan to stay again!!

Great quiet Stay

We were in town for a conference and this location was perfect. The neighborhood is beautiful and being on a dead end street added to the peaceful setting. Our hosts were very helpful and available if we needed anything. Definitely will stay again if we come to Phoenix again.

Perfect!

Sarah was excellent to deal with and the house had everything we needed and more, including a fully loaded binder with local information available. During our stay we travelled to Scottsdale, Sedona and others and all were extremely easy to navigate given the location of West Wilshire. We definitely definitely enjoyed our stay and would hopefully be welcomed back if we find ourselves in Phoenix again.

A Home Run

Fully renovated casita behind our personal residence with a private entrance and code access. Fully equipped galley kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, dishwasher, and toaster. The bedroom area has a queen bed with pillows, linens, a dresser, and a closet with hangers. A full-size air mattress is available. The bathroom has a tub and shower and includes linens, basic toiletries, and a hairdryer. An ironing board and iron are located in the closet.
Family-friendly amenities including pack-and-play, books, and toys are available upon request. Fast Internet and a Roku-equipped TV with Netflix, YouTube TV, and Amazon Video.
Please Note: There is a pool on the property used by the owners and children. We always try to keep the sound down and wrap things up no later than 8PM.
