This home was built in 2013. It was designed to be a vacation rental. Please compare homes before booking. This home has 5 bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms. LARGE areas in the house for groups and alot of areas to get away if you so desire (ie., observation tower). It has a HUGE deck with seating for 20 and amazing views, has a natural gas grill. Dining room seats 20 people. Lower level has an amazing game room with pool table and foosball table. City water, sewer, natural gas, high speed internet. All pavement no gravel. This home also boasts a unique 2 level observation tower for 360 degree viewing the Black Hills- Relaxation does not get better than this!

Family trip

We enjoy cooking in and playing games. The space was great for that. We liked the pool table and foosball. We never left the house. Our adult children really like having a hot tub. We liked that the rooms had king beds and their own bathroom.

Great location

Perfect location to see all that the Black Hills area has to offer. Well equipped kitchen with plenty of dishes and seating for a large group. Highly recommend.

Great view! Close to the attractions.

Property as described, and the owner was friendly and accommodating when we asked about heating/cooling. Decor is interesting and the view of the mountains from the tower is superb.

Family Reunion

17 of us gathered for a week of fellowship and exploration of the Black Hills. We all came away with fond new memories and a greater appreciation of the wonders of nature. We had a grand week and no regrets.

STUNNING VIEWS IN PERFECT AREA

Our group came to the area to ride motorcycles and enjoy the scenery...we were not disappointed!!! The house was spotless and comfortable. There was plenty of room for our group of nine to spread out. The sunrises were breathtaking. Beds were comfortable. Our hosts, Kevin and Janette, were soooo accommodating, and it was very much appreciated!! We will absolutely be booking here again, we cannot imagine a better place!!

AMAZING!!!!

This beautiful home was more than anything we expected! Every room had its own bathroom! The pool table, hot tub, deck, garage and the view were all sooo incredible! We will most def be back! Location was perfect! 10 min from deadwood and terry peak ski resort. We absolutely loved it!

Beautiful location and home

All the amenities you need. Gorgeous view and great host. Only complaint would be I would easily pay $20 more a night for good toilet paper, but seem to find this more than I would have guessed when we stay at other places. Definitely would recommend this place over and over. Just pack your Charmin!

Amazing view and a great location

If you are looking for a great place to stay for a large group of people, this is the house you want! From each bedroom having its own private bath to the game room in the basement with a hot tub to relax in after a long day sightseeing! This house has an amazing view that you can not only enjoy from the large wrap aroumd deck but a sunrise from the comfort of the lookout tower is pretty impressive! Centrally located to most of the must sees in South Dakota this house was great for us while we enjoyed the Sturgis Bike Rally with a group of friends! The host is always just a text away and very accomodating and helpful!

Great place to stay

We had 7 adults and 8 kids for a family vacation. Did side by side trails in Spearfish Canyan, went to Custer Park, Mt. Rushmore, Sylvan Lake, Reptile Gardens. Enjoyed time at the house. Plenty of room for all of us. Kids ranged from 1 to 12 years.

Weekend ski getaway!

Overall great place to stay! Super convenient location to terry peak! Everything included in rental for what you would need to stay! Somehow some of the pool table balls were missing but quickly was resolved by the owner and new balls were delivered to the house! Only down fall was that some cleaning might have been overlooked, not quite to my standards, but able to be easily cleaned up with a touch of cleaner and rag! All in all would stay again!

Ideal Property for large group!

We had a family reunion - 6 adults and six kids ages 3 to 19. The younger kids really loved the tower. The older kids played on the pool and foosball tables. The view of lead was incredible, and we saw deer outside the house nearly every day. It was close to all the things to do in Lead and Deadwood and Sturgis and the Spearfish Canyon Scenic Byway, but a little far from Rushmore, Crazy Horse, and Custer State Park. Excellent accommodations!

Awesome house, beautiful location

Wonderful property with amazing views. Plenty of space for our party of 14 to spread out. Bunk bed room was super fun for the kids. Hot tub was great and in working order. Comfortable beds. I do have a couple of suggestions; I wish the bunk beds would’ve been made before our arrival, they needed to include a few more towels especially since we were using the hot tub, also the cleaning of the bathrooms, kitchen could be better. Overall we loved the home and the black hills, we would like to come back in the summer!

Great for large groups

The house worked wonderful for the main meeting location for our family reunion of 24. Since this house sleeps so many people it would be extremely helpful to have a second refrigerator the garage. We could only fit 2 days of food in the refrigerator, excluding drinks. A large cooler would also been helpful to keep drinks cool since the fridge was too small.
