When you stay at this home you will understand more the beauty of the Sierra Nevadas. One of my favorite things about this home is the amazing natural lighting. It is located one mile from highway 41 and five miles from two major grocery stores open until 12 am. The perfect location of this home allows for a seven minute drive to bass lake, a 14 mile drive to the entrance of Yosemite National Park, or a ton of options for trail heads near the home. After a journey filled day, relax in the ginormous bathtub. The home sits on top of a hill where the windows in the master bedroom, living room and dining room face the sun’s path throughout the day and capture the natural lighting. The veranda on the home is the best place to watch the art filled sunset every evening, allows for optimal star gazing at night topped with a beautiful relaxing morning doing nothing but watching the sunrise.

One night staover

We only stayed one night on an in and out tour of Yosemite. Only complaint is that the foam bed in the master was uncomfortable and did not result in a good night sleep. Would recommend upgrading.

Perfect home base location for trip to Yosemite NP

This property was everything as advertised. Clean and extremely spacious. Check in and check out was seamless. Communication was top notch. The property owner messaged me half way through our trip just to make sure there wasn't anything else we needed which I thought was awesome. I will highly recommend this place to any friends and family who travel out this way in the future.

Beautiful, spacious home

This home was probably even better than the listing shows. The 3 bedrms are comfortable and the master is very nice with a stall shower and a large tub with jacuzzi jets. The patio faces the west so sitting out and enjoying the sunset is a must. The fridge has various odds and ends of condiments likely left by previous guests? I counted 6 opened jars of mayo. Don't count on anything substantial and certainly not the breakfast ingredients mentioned by others, unless you count a couple of dried up frozen waffles in the freezer, accompanied by other opened leftovers. There's a Keurig but no coffee of any sort. Bring your own food and drinks, which most would expect to do anyway.

The Best

We had a 14 day road trip and I must say this was the best VRBO we stayed in. This home was perfect to stay and visit Yosemite. It was clean and comfortable. Olivia was very easy to communicate with and very accommodating. I would definitely stay here again!! She’s the BEST.

Very convenient.

Olivia was a great host and good with communicating. The house was spacious and light, and she left breakfast for us, which was very kind. It was a good location to explore Yosemite, and the town of Oakhurst had restaurants, supermarkets etc.

An okay place, disappointed with incorrect listing details and unwillingness to fox things by howt

We were going to stay at this place for one night to go to Yosemite national park. The place is not bad, however, we had a couple of issues that tremendously affected the experience. The listing bed configuration was incorrect, it says it has 2 king beds whilst on ground it had one. One of the two showers didn’t have hot water, so everyone in the house had to use one bathroom for showers which was very inconvenient specially that we wanted to sleep early to prepare for a long day ahead of us. We gave Olivia, the host, a couple of chances to fix the issues or compensate for those inconveniences with no luck, her answers were short and disappointing. Now we are going with complaints to VRBO which adds to the inconvenience that this booking has caused us. Other than that, the place is not too bad.

Wilderness Hospitality

The property has the feel of being away from the city life. Very responsive host that does her best to make your stay comfortable. Love the fact that she leaves groceries for breakfast the next day. I enjoyed the time outside relaxing at the fire pit. Sat back and enjoyed the stars at night…relaxed and enjoyed the warmth of the fire in the morning with a hot cup of coffee. Would definitely book in the future

We had one night without heat or hot water, but the owner resolved the issue first thing in the morning. She was very kind and responsive offering a refund for the day. The property is lovely and perfect for a family get away.

Weekend stay

Had a very chill and easy experience. The place felt homely and was very clean. And Olivia (the host) was very accommodating of any requests we had (ex: check-in times, food). Would definitely come back for a longer staycation!

Everything was as promised

The house was clean and welcoming and even had food for breakfast in the refrigerator! The photos on the site gave an accurate sense of the space and the location was extremely convenient for our trip to Yosemite National Park. I would recommend this location highly to anyone looking for a nice getaway.

This property is in a perfect location. It is centralized between Yosemite National Park, Bass Lake and Oakhurst. There are tons of trails minutes away from this property.

This house sits on a hill which helps with star gazing abilities and sunrise watching :-) lay out on a lounge chair on the veranda at night and gaze into the Milky Way. There is a huge tub in the master bathroom where the moon is visible at certain times of the year. There is A fire pit in the backyard for s’mores. The wood stove inside the winter sets a perfect mood for a movie night.
