Property was as described, very spacious and comfortable. Had everything we needed. A few minutes off the main road which allowed us to be among nature, lots of deers and critters around. About 2 hours from Yosemite National park.

Very nice property. Rooms are spacious and kitchen has all appliances needed for preparing meals. Saw some wildlife such as local birds and a family of bears across the fence from the property, which was great to see on the first day. Location is about an hour away from Mariposa Grove and 1.5 hours from the entrance to Yosemite Valley in no traffic. Since it was a holiday weekend, there was traffic going into Mariposa since we left the house past 9 am. Leave early if you can, definitely before 8 am for either park to avoid traffic.

We loved this place!! It’s huge, clean and beautiful! It was our first time staying out here for our Yosemite weekend trip and we most definitely will be back and for more days! Perfect place for kids , big families and pets. 10/10 ! Mariposa Pizza Factory and Happy Burger are a must. Mariposa Coffee Company as well! Gerry was a great guy !

No doubt the experience walking in to the house was breathtaking. Felt like walking in to our own home. Real spacious, cozy, comfortable, clean, welcoming. Surrounded by beautiful views. Kitchen stocked with everything you need, bedrooms really spacious. Overall we had an amazing time. Travelled all over Yosemite National park and even made it out to Sequoia National park. We knew that after a long day of activities and adventure we would come home to a beautiful place to regain our strength and get ready for another day. Love the stay.

Everything was great, just like the pictures! The hot tub was nice and hot, the kitchen was super convenient, the beds were very comfortable and the kids loved the Jumani. If you like stainless steel cookware all you might need is a large skillet for bacon but everything you need is there for a good meal. There is a Vons and Raleys close by for groceries and the Yosemite sites are an hour away! The drive is absolutely beautiful. Patty was real good with answering any questions quickly. The deer and wild turkeys were there to keep us company. Highly recommend!

Excellent property and host

The house was very clean and comfortable. The surrounding nature and view of the stars was awesome. Pat was a very friendly and accommodating, host and gave us many suggestions on places to see. We had a wonderful experience!

Labor Day weekend stay

We enjoyed the holiday weekend in this beautiful home! During our stay we visited Yosemite, the property was in close proximity to Yosemite. The property itself was beautiful, clean and had everything needed for “home way from home”.

This VRBO was a perfect little home for our family. It was clean, well stocked with all the necessities and the host was very responsive. We enjoyed several days at Yosemite and the warm hot tub!

Nature lovers haven

The house is very clean. The beds are very comfortable. The water pressure was great. The neighborhood is very quite and we feel very safe staying there. I loved having coffee on the back porch in the morning, hearing the birds and the turkeys singing. We saw humming birds, family of turkeys every morning.

Perfect for our two families

This place was great and spacious for our two families of four (ages 5, 7, 8, 10 parents). The kids had plenty of room to play, explore outside, and enjoy the pool table. Beds were all so comfy! Hot tub was big and perfect after exploring Yosemite. It is a drive (give or take an hour depending on where you are going) to get into the park but a beautiful drive. Pat was very responsive and helpful. Only thing I would mention is we cooked most meals and had to get creative with pots/pans/mixing bowls but made it work.

Mid-Century Ranch Getaway

We stayed here for one weekend for my son’s 20th birthday. Hot tub was great after a hike in Yosemite. It’s a drive to Yosemite…but a pretty one! Plenty of cooking tools, smart TVs, and the boys loved the pool table. Hard a hard time figuring out the Nest A/C, but it worked! Went to the store in Oakhurst on our way in. Look out for turkeys, squirrels, and many, many beautiful birds. It’s a good spot if you have younger kids too. Our kids are all between 17-21.On a clear night, you can see all the stars! Very quiet neighborhood. Not too much trouble to check out .Go for it!

A Serene Nature Retreat near Yosemite

My stay at this beautiful house nestled right in the backyard of Yosemite was an absolute delight! From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the breathtaking nature surrounding the property. It was like stepping into a serene paradise with wildlife at my doorstep. The proximity to Yosemite meant that I could easily explore the park, yet return to a tranquil haven at the end of the day. The abundance of wildlife was a constant source of wonder, with deer, wild turkeys, frogs, and a variety of birds creating symphony that never got old. One of the things that impressed me the most was the peacefulness of the area, coupled with a warm neighborhood atmosphere. It was so nice being away from the crowds but still feeling connected to a friendly neighborhood. Inside, the house exceeded all my expectations. The interior was tastefully decorated and furnished, creating a lovely atmosphere. The spaciousness of the rooms allowed for a relaxing and rejuvenating stay. It was clear that the hosts had taken great care to ensure every detail was thoughtfully considered, especially when it came to cooking equipment & appliances. Speaking of the hosts, they were great! From the moment I made my reservation, they were incredibly responsive and friendly. Their genuine care and attention made me feel valued and supported throughout my entire stay. They went above and beyond when I needed to stay a bit longer, and ensured I had everything I needed and more. Until next time! :)

I was a nice place to stay. I suggest updating the kitchen and the bathrooms, both of which were dated and worn. The hot tub did not look very appealing without an insulated cover and a dirty thin cover on the top. We were expecting a nicer interior.

Cozy place with plenty of room for a friends or family trip! Host was super responsive and nice. Our friend left something behind and they were able to get in contact with the host right away. All of the cabinets were labeled with what was inside which was super helpful and they even had a nutribullet!
