Newly remodeled beach front two story condo offers an awesome full gulf view with private terrace. This one bedroom, KING size bed(amazing mattress), one bath condo, has a fully equipped kitchen (cherry wood cabinets, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances)2 flat screen TV's (1 TV in Bedroom & 1 in Living room 42') with DVD. There is also an extremely comfortable Murphy bed (queen size) in a cherry wood cabinetry along with a pull out sofa.

For convenience a washer/dryer is located in your condo. Free Wireless Internet, Beautiful heated pool equipped with comfortable lounge chairs, umbrella and Weber grill all offering the full gulf view for you to enjoy. A wonderful place to sit back, relax and enjoy the natural beauty of Longboat Key.

Comfortable Paradise

LBK is nothing short of paradise. This property was perfect for our family of 4. It was super clean, spacious, and the beds were comfortable. The pool was always clean and the beach was perfect and not crowded. We will definitely look to come back to this location!

Breathtaking View

We stayed in May 2024. Pros The view of the Gulf is truly breathtaking. Just steps away from the beach, providing easy access. The king bed is on the firmer side, which we found comfortable. Excellent location, just minutes from top restaurants such as Euphemia Haye, The Shore, Dry Dock, Lazy Lobster, La Norma Italian, and close to St. Armands Circle. The condo features a large new 42-inch TV. Although it's placed in an unconventional spot, it likely fits best there within the space. The host was highly responsive to all our questions and needs. Cons The main building, pool, and grounds could benefit from some maintenance, including a good pressure wash and possibly a fresh coat of paint. The unit had some new furniture pieces, but the sofa was broken and unusable, and one chair in the living room was worn out. It seems the owners plan to replace these items soon. While the unit was not cleaned to our expectations, the owner promptly refunded the cleaning fee, which we appreciated. The outdoor deck was smaller than we had expected, it was still nice to sit out and enjoy the beautiful Gulf of Mexico!

Wonderful peaceful paradise

The view from the condo was exceptional. The kitchen was well equipped and all other furniture was comfortable. The private balcony was cozy and intimate. The private beach area just a few steps from the pool was awesome. Everyone at the condo was friendly. We will be back.

Relaxing getaway.

This was a quick fall break getaway. The place was quiet and the beach is beautiful and peaceful. We did not worry about our 4 year old running around at all. It was so nice to have chairs and umbrellas accessible to use for free. The location was great, it was just far enough away for peace and quiet but still a close drive to restaurants and stores. The condo itself has a beautiful ocean view we loved looking out at every morning and evening. The condo met all of our requirements for essentials. The master bed is very comfortable as mentioned in the description. We highly recommend staying here and we are already planning a return with all of our extended family in the future.

Beautiful location

Beach was absolutely beautiful! Pool was very nice. Kids enjoyed being able to go back and forth between the two. Property was a nice size. Friendly people to share it with. Peaceful location.

Best place at The Beach!

Our fifth straight year and fourth different place at The Beach. Best one so far. Very clean. No Bugs. Bed was firm and comfortable. Patio was a little bigger than it looks in the pictures. Overall, an excellent stay. Thank you!

Great Vacation Rental

Everything was so good that we re-upped for 4 weeks for 2024. Office personnel, especially Sue, are very nice. If there was any negative it was that there are no bins for re-cycling, but that might be a LBK issue as much as a condo issue.

Perfect!

Everything was amazing. Included everything we needed. Place was modern, clean, and had amazing views. Any closer to the beach and we'd be sleeping in the water. Pool was nice and warm and beach was clean and quiet. Perfect getaway. Will be back!

The Beach at Longboat Key 227

Perfect one bedroom oceanfront condo in a small two story complex. Beautiful almost private beach with chairs and umbrellas provided. Great swimming pool on the property. Older type building refurbished and our unit was totally updated and well appointed! Would definitely stay there again.. beats a busy high rise building any day!

A sliver of heaven!

The colors of the water, the sky-combined with a sweet space with large windows that offered a grand view of this beauty--combined for a slice of heaven experience!! Christine was A++ in helpfulness and responsiveness. I can not say adequately what a wonderful experience staying here was for my dear childhood friend and me! I will look forward to returning!!

Nice get away

Our stay was lovely. Nice get away from the cold in New England. The office staff was very pleasant and the owner was wonderful!

Everything we needed

Very clean when arriving. Photos are accurate. Bed was comfortable with firmer and softer pillows as options. Closets and dresser were well sized to hold our clothing. I liked the bedside sconces (lighting and USB port). Kitchen is supplied with all the pans and utensils we needed and more, plus a few "trial size" consumables like dish soap, trash bags, etc. Plenty of options for seating. Management office was very helpful with anything we needed, from printing/faxing some time critical documents, to getting the new HVAC controls to work correctly (who knew we would need the heat on in Florida in February?). Pool was heated and clean. I know some have complained about not seeing the sunset from the deck, but I rather liked the view of the sunset through the palm trees. We liked the washer/dryer in the condo since hubby is a bicycle rider who needed to wash active wear with frequency. This is one of the larger condos in this building as we understand it and the two of us and our two road bikes had plenty of room to co-exist and I still had space to do my stretching exercises on a yoga mat. The only thing we wished was different would be having double pane windows in the bedroom instead of single pane due to the traffic noise in the mornings; we are light sleepers. The condo was great for the two of us and our activities!

January get-away

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & hope to return again. The property was clean, well appointed & in a great location.. Check-in was easy & the property manager was able to accommodate us for an early arrival. All in all, a great experience.

Beach get away

First, there was no Toilet paper and we were not aware there was no elevator. Thank goodness we were able to walk. This would have been helpful since one of us has an injured leg. We managed.

We had a wonderful stay. Was a great surprise to have daily housekeeping service! Condo needs some updating. Was a little disappointed with the small balcony as we had to squeeze through chairs to sit facing the beach. Also was expecting to have a view of the sunset from the balcony. Unfortunately large trees are in the way.

Quiet spot on the beach

Enjoyed our stay, everything was as advertised, easy check in process. Great location on the beach. Were concerned about crowds for the Memorial day weekend, and there were certainly other vacation goers but was very peaceful and not overcrowded area of beach. Would stay again and bring our daughter with us next year.
