Soak up amazing ocean, mountain and sunset views at our beautiful oceanfront condo, on the sunny Kihei coast. We are just steps from the beach, and visitors can swim safely in the protected ancient Hawaiian fishpond that fronts the condo.

Our non-smoking ground floor condo is perfect for couples or families, as well as the elderly. The unit has been recently remodeled to provide all the comforts of home. A split system air conditioner has individual controls in each room. There is a queen size bed in the master bedroom, twin beds (which can be made into a king) in the second bedroom and a queen sofa sleeper in the living room. The kitchen is fully equipped for all your needs. 40" flatscreen cable TV with fast and free Wi-Fi. Ample linens, including beach towels, are provided. Enjoy beach time with beach toys, cooler, umbrella and beach chairs.

Wake up to the sound of the ocean as the morning sun lights up the West Maui Mountains. Enjoy stunning views from your living room, bedroom and private lanai. Watch wind and kite surfers, stand up paddle boarders, Maui's dramatic sunsets, and the lights of Ma'alaea Harbor. In winter months, from your lanai, look for humpback whales breaching offshore!

Located on the edge of an ancient Hawaiian fishpond, swimming is safe for children and there are often sea turtles in the pond.

There are many fine restaurants in Kihei and Wailea, as well as an excellent Indian restaurant and bar on the property. Nightclubs and Hawaiian music abound in our South Kihei neighborhood.

Menehune Shores has immaculately maintained grounds, with a solar heated pool, shuffleboard court and oceanfront barbecue grills. Additional barbecues, picnic tables and spectacular 360 degree ocean and mountain views are accessible on the rooftop garden.

PLEASE NOTE: The pool will be closed for annual maintenance from Sept 8 -15. Please plan accordingly.

Kihei stay in Maui

Local great until it storms which happens once a year. Lots of mud on road. Still can get around. Condo has queen and two twins. Well stocked condo Could use updating of beds and furniture. Had a great time exploring the island

Maui 2025 Trip

Our stay was great! The condo was perfect for our family. The location was beautiful and being on the first floor made it easy to come and go. The only downfall was that we lost one day due to a power outage on Friday, 1/10/25 from 5:00am to 8:30pm. There was a really bad storm that tore down one of the power lines right in front of the condo.

Perfect stay in Kiehei

Sande and Bob’s place was perfect for our family of four to spend the week before Christmas! The condo was exactly as expected from the listing. It was clean and well stocked. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook some of our meals at the condo. We also had beach towels and chairs available which was very helpful! The pool was right outside the door, and the view from the lanai was beautiful! Everything was perfect!

First time family vacation in Hawaii

We have been dreaming and saving up to take our family to Hawaii for years. When we saw flight deals to Maui we jumped at the chance to finally make that dream come true. I wanted a place that had an ocean view and we could easily walk to the beach. Sande and Bob’s place was perfect. The location in Kihei was the perfect central location to for all of the things on our list of things to do and places to see. We could easily get to Wailea-Makena and Lahaina. The airport and Costco were just 20 mins away. The rental had beach chairs, umbrellas, a couple of boogie boards, snorkel gear sets, mini cooler. Honestly everything you need for beach days. They even had some hydrogen peroxide that came in clutch for my son who got a really bad case of swimmers ear in the middle of the night. We loved being able to walk out to the beach each morning and listen to the waves and even saw sea turtles a couple of mornings chilling on the beach in the little bay next to the condo. Highly recommended this to any couples or smaller families visiting Maui. Sande was so sweet and quick to respond to any questions we had. Which if I had only read my emails I would’ve seen Sande had already thought of and answered them before we even got there. Thank you Sande and Bob for making our kids first trip to Hawaii so amazing.

Perfect Kihei Location

The location was ideal with beach, pool, lawn, and restaurant just steps from the lanai. The owners were very helpful in our planning especially with a 21 month old toddler’s needs. We had a great stay! Just too brief!

Kehei Vacation

We had a wonderful time in Maui. We stayed at Menehune Shores condos. It was wonderful to open our slider to a beautiful area with grass & plants. The pool was so close as well as the Indian restaurant; a few more steps and we were on the beach!!the condo was comfortable & clean.

Beautiful!

Sande was a great host. She pointed us to great baby rental people that were amazing. She was right there at check in to make sure we got in okay which was perfect because I got the unit number wrong at first and she helped me out. Parking is a little tight and the road is quite busy but it all worked just fine. Checkout process was easy and we had a great time!

The view, the beach, the pool, the sunsets, and the condo were perfect for a week in Maui. We saw turtles every morning. We had more than we needed in the condo. The location is perfect. You can get anywhere within a short drive. We truly loved everything.

Had fun

The hosts were spot on, kind and very attentive. The view was super pretty. The property was immaculate. The air units were a definite plus and worked well. We had a slight hiccup with the air unit and they had it repaired literally within 20 minutes. There was enough kitchen supplies to actually cook for the family. Beds were comfy enough - not awesome pillows but fine. I would recommend it greatly for casual family fun. The beach areas are super close however, the beaches on property were a little to rocky and the locals kinda over ran the small beach just to the right of the condo as well as the ground level bbqs. We used the bbq on the rooftop and it was clean, quiet and the view was amazing close to sunset. The only negative- it needs to be updated for sure. Every inch of it has reached its decor expiration date. Not the most expensive place for sure but certainly not the cheapest either. The condo next door I noticed had been updated and the vibe was much more beachy and visually appealing. It would be a nice convenience if the rooms had tv’s in them. Kids like to watch different shows than the parents when it’s unwind time. The location is very central to all things.

Perfect location for families

We stayed for 10 days at this fantastic little condo. We were a mixed group of teens, adults and seniors. Everyone loved going out to see the sea turtles everyday, playing shuffle board and the ease of access to the pool, beach and grills. The sofa bed was surprisingly comfortable and the condo was well stocked with kitchen items as well as beach chairs and towels. Overall it was an amazing spot and the entire group enjoyed our time and the space! Things to keep in mind, the property gets VERY windy every afternoon and there are not a lot of places to walk to but really all the spots in Kihei are still very close. We loved being on the first floor, it made it so easy to come and go to the beach or pool or out for the day. Downside was that sitting on the lanai there was a bit of foot traffic. If you are traveling with a family this is a great spot!

Great place

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The apartment is spotless, cleaned very well in between visits. You have everything you need to be comfortable like lots of towels and beach chairs and a washer and dryer. We didn’t cook much but when we did cook the kitchen had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable and the sheets were nice. The location was great. I don’t normally enjoy at ground floor unit, but in this case I really liked being able to go in and out of the unit from the beach and the pool, we did see a couple of cockroaches in one of the bathrooms over the four nights stay But this is Hawaii and you have to expect more insects than you would expect at home. The room facing the ocean does get a little warm with the afternoon sun coming through the windows, but I always slept fine. The air conditioning in the living room works fantastic and cools down most of the unit. I would stay here again without question

Amazing condo with views galore!

We stayed for a week with our two kids (ages 12 and 14) and could not have been happier with the condo! It was a good amount of space for us, and we appreciated having two bedrooms and two bathrooms. We loved being able to walk right to the protected beach, as well as being able to see the sea turtles. The pool was warm and wonderful as well! Communications were prompt and we would love to come back to stay again!

Beautiful Maui property

We absolutely loved this unit and all the amenities of the facility! We have 4 kids (age 7-13) so the ground floor unit was perfect for our family. It truly extended the living space with the well kept green space for lawn games. It is right off the pool and ocean access. The ancient fish pond in front of the resort made all of us enjoy the ocean so much more with a safe swimming area.. not to mention all the sea turtles that use its rocks for sunbathing every day!! The beds were beyond comfortable, even the sofa bed! The unit was supplied with more starter supplies than we have ever seen before.. beach chairs, snorkels, boogy boards, laundry, and kitchen essentials. We absolutely recommend this location and unit! Thank you so much for making Maui an unforgettable experience for our family!

Ideal Location!

This was our second stay in this condo. Sande and Bob are wonderful to deal with. We were greeted with a nice note and beautiful flowers. We love this condo for several reasons. 1. Ground floor condo with ocean view. 2. Fully stocked with condiments, floaties, beach chairs, etc. 3. Steps away from the pool and beach. 4. The fish pond makes for an ideal kid beach. Super shallow and no waves. It’s also fun for adults to float in. Turtles every day. We love it here and will continue to stay with Sande and Bob. Thanks for another great trip to Maui!

Beautiful Time

The exquisite and peaceful ground floor oceanfront location, just steps from the beach as well as the perfect place to watch the spectacular Maui sunsets, and, additionally, the ancient Hawaiian fishpond, sold us on this condo's location. We began coming to Maui in the 70s, always staying in this same area, out of the bustle of Kihei, yet centrally located. We love this area so much that our Maui home for the past 25 years is 5 minutes from the condo. Unlike most condo owners who live on the mainland, we live full time on this beautiful island. We are nearby, available to answer your questions.
