Fisherman's Oasis and Vacation Rental

Fully furnished one bedroom one bath suite close to Elk Creek.
Full kitchen with appliances and accessories (refrigerator, gas stove, microwave, coffee pot, toaster, crock pot, cooking utensils, pots and pans, dishes silverware)
Sleeps 2: Bedroom includes one single bed and one double bed
Towels and bedding provided.
Off street car and boat parking available.
Amenities: cable TV, wi-fi, propane grill, shared fire pit, outside table and chairs, fish cleaning station available during summer months.

This is the larger of two units in the house. Both have separate entrances, grills and outdoor eating areas. The fire pit and fish cleaning station is shared.

This was a wonderful place to stay, has everything you need. Spotlessly clean and cozy for two people. Looked just like the pictures. Bed was comfortable. In a fairly rural area and we had good weather so nice to sleep with the window open. I would recommend Erie Bluffs SP which is very close by for anyone who likes hiking or just a nice lake view, definitely a hidden gem.

Little Fishing Trip

Our host was very accommodating and easy to talk with. This property has everything you need for a fishing trip or just some down time in Erie. Although we didn't use all of the amenities, we were very impressed with the fish cleaning station, fire pit with wood, outside dining areas and even our own propane grill. The interior of the property is cozy for two, decor is lovely, extremely clean, and obviously updated. You literally dont need to take anything but food, clothes, hygiene products and gear. Two thumbs up Brenda!

Great hosts!

My Wife and I stayed for 4 nights while I fished and she chillaxed. We ran into Erie on Saturday evening for a show at the Erie Playhouse. Cooked out on the grill and even had a fire in the firepit. Everything we needed was there including a nice indoor fish cleaning area complete with a freezer for carcasses. Nice property and hospitable hosts. Will definitely keep this on our list to return to again.

Excellent Hosts

Many reviewers have praised this fine facility but we were particularly impressed by the Hostess and her husband. They are warm-hearted and welcoming, and helpful in many practical ways.

Good Place overall

Close enough to Presque Isle for reasonable price. Also close to Erie Bluffs too. Be prepared for slow water and cold temps but hostess told us and we were not bothered!

Has Everything You Need!

Brenda was so lovely to work with. My fiancé and I were traveling to the Erie area to pick up our puppy from our breeder and needed a place to stay the night. Fisherman’s Oasis was more than sufficient…and we aren’t even fisherman! Brenda really thought of everything. We loved having a kitchenette and coffee in the morning! The aesthetic is definitely fishing-themed, but this VRBO is better than a lot of others that we have stayed in around the country!

Oasis getaway

My husband and I spent a long weekend here over the 4th of July. The house space is cozy and had everything we needed. Brenda was quick to respond and the property was as described. Everything was well stocked and very clean. The shower had very little pressure although we had hot water, and the room was extremely cold, but extra blankets were available.

Erie getaway

Clean, small but cozy apartment. Close proximity to Erie Bluffs State Park, Presque Isle State Park and Erie. The owner was very helpful. She met us on arrival and provided instructions about the apartment. Great place for 2 people.

Fishermen look no further

This was our third time staying here and will our only choice when visiting Erie. Excellent hosts, very friendly and accommodating every time. Very close to Elk creek if you're coming up in for steelhead fishing and about 30 minutes from Presque Isle Bay. Can't say enough good about these folks, highly highly recommended!

Excellent as Always!

Owners of the property are Super! Always greeted with a smile. Myself and my family have stayed here several times. Its Quiet and Relaxing!! Always 100 percent clean and if anything is needed the owner is always right there for you. We will be staying there again!!

Steelhead weekend

Property was great location for fishing Elk Creek, it was clean and comfortable enough our weekend stay - one small critique would be the water pressure for the shower is weak, other then that it was a great stay

Peaceful

Iv stayed here several times and am Never disappointed!!! I absolutely Love the area and the place! Always exceptional! Very clean and all you need for your stay! Hostess is always available with any needs. And is extremely nice with me and my handicapped nephew!! 5 stars plus!!! We will be going back!
