Breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean and pool from the private balcony of this fourth floor spacious villa. You will just LOVE the view of the pool, palm trees, dunes, beach and ocean!

Captain's Walk is located in beautiful Palmetto Dunes and is conveniently located on the bike path between the Marriott and Omni Hotels. The Fazio Golf Course, Palmetto Dunes Tennis Center, bike, kayak, rowboat and canoe rentals are all within walking distance. Other beautiful golf courses are a short distance away. The Captains Walk oceanfront complex has an on-site pool, a kiddy pool, a cabana, a sun deck, and a boardwalk to the beach. Pool is heated March 1st - April 30th and October 1st - November 30th.

Palmetto Dunes is a 2000 acre oceanfront resort that reaches from the 3 miles of white sandy beach, through 11 miles of lagoons, 3 golf courses, and 25 tennis courts, to the bikeway under highway 278 that provides access to the Shelter Cove Marina, shops, restaurants, and Mall. Last but not least is the fabulous beach! Enjoy the beautiful sounds of the ocean from the king-size bed in the master bedroom suite or from the balcony of the spacious living/dining room. Even the kitchen has a great ocean view! Two double beds in the second bedroom and queen convertible sofa in the living room complete the picture!

The fully equipped kitchen offers granite counters and a washer/dryer in the laundry room. Cable, and Wireless Internet are available to all SMART TVs (living room, master bedroom and guest bedroom). The sleeper sofa in the living room allows this unit to sleep eight comfortably. Captains Walk features a large swimming pool, a baby pool, cabana, large sunning deck, gas grills, and boardwalk to the beach.

Fall Break 2024

This place was absolutely perfect! Very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed to enjoy a week at the beach/pool. The location to everything you needed and wanted to do were perfect! We will definitely be back to this condo!

Peaceful!

First of all, my 7 year old daughter asked me the morning that we were leaving “Will the people who live here come back once we move out?” This condo at Captains Walk on HHI is officially our home away from home! My husband and I, and both our children (7&11 year old daughter and son) absolutely loved this vacation for many reasons, but this condo is definitely going to be where we stay from now on! The property is so well maintained and clean! The condo itself is beautifully decorated and super clean! We had everything we could possibly need there. They provided everything from sand chairs, a small board for the kids to ride on some of the waves to some beach toys and even a wagon to cart it all down to the beach in easily! The walk to the beach was super short and easy, and the pool and sand wash areas were clean and well maintained. It was a quick walk to and from the beach to the pool bathroom with the kids also. The whole area was super quiet too. We never heard another neighbor in the whole week we were there and everyone we encountered was so polite and friendly. We are already missing our beach time and morning sunrises over the ocean from the balcony. The kids made friends on the beach each day and we all spent time in the ocean together laughing and making memories together. My daughter had tears when we left! I had to promise her we’d come back! Can’t recommend this place enough! Thank you for all the quick responses to my questions prior to coming also!

Great location and propert

Everything about this rental and are stay was awesome. The location was perfect to explore PD. We hit the beach numerous times and walked to the local bike rental place to explore the island. We would definitely rent this unit again.

Great Family Experience!!

Wonderful location with great pool and direct beach access. Beautiful view and condo was comfortable and perfect for our needs. Huge assortment of amenities and useful equipment from beach blanket and umbrella to pool toys and full kitchen set up. Thanks for a wonderful time!!

The Perfect Week!

Our family of 5 had the perfect week at 449 Captains Walk! The condo is even better in person than the pictures show. The ocean views are beautiful with easy access to the pool and beach. We loved riding our bikes throughout Palmetto Dunes and to Shelter Cove. We will be back!

Beautiful Condo/View

The condo was even better than the pictures. Our family of five had a great time visiting Hilton Head for the first time. We loved the location of the condo. Communication with the owners was very quick and informative and we didn’t have any issues checking in.

Perfection

This condo is perfection! The view from the balcony is fantastic. My mother-in-law, who didn’t join us at the pool or on the beach every day, was able to watch her grandkids play in pool and on beach from the balcony. Condo was clean and exactly as pictured in the listing. Ample supply of beach gear was super helpful. Location was so convenient to everything we wanted to do during our stay. The owners are fantastic - friendly and super responsive. Would definitely book here again!

Great vacation

We greatly enjoyed our stay at this condo. Everything was very clean. Great ocean and pool views and a short walk to each. The condo was very well stocked and many extras, including beach chairs and a wagon to haul everything to the beach. Owner was very helpful and responsive. We would definitely rent again and do highly recommend this property.

Annual Spring Trip

We love staying at Captain’s Walk and this condo did not disappoint. Well equipped and lovely we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The owners were easy to communicate with and I would highly recommend renting this property.

Everything about the condo was great. Perfect location, view of the pool and ocean. Unit was very clean and well maintained. Main TV was a little complex but kids figured it out. We will surely come back.

Family vacation

Condo was great location and easy access to beach and pool. Condo decorated nicely and kitchen fully stocked. Lots of beach gear for use which was great. Condo was less than clean on our arrival. Counters were visibly soiled in kitchen and bath mats had not been picked up and laundered. Shower curtains were filled with soap scum as was shower tile. Kind of gross but we made do.. We did let owners know but just an apology was offered. Probably wouldn’t book again It was alot of money and less than ideal conditions of the rental

Always a nice time

This is our third stay at captains walk, and our second at this unit. The owners do a great job with communication, and the unit is comfortable and clean, and well appointed with beach supplies. Captains walk itself is very convenient for both beach and pool access, and is a great place to bring the family.

Great location!

We loved the location and ease of check -in. Condo was well stocked with supplies and beach gear. The down side was all the sheets were stiff and scratchy. Lights over master sink flickered all the time. Master sink drained very, very slow. Condo needs a very thorough cleaning.

Anfitrión: Brian and Julie Neal

My Husband, Brian, our two daughters, Skylar and Kayman, have very busy lives in Charlotte, NC. Brian and I moved to Charlotte NC in 2001, 911 transplants from the DC area, and started our family soon after that. I grew up going to OBX and Brian Emerald Isle beach. We love the unplugged feeling we have when we are on HHI and hope you can enjoy the same!

We have been traveling to HHI since our oldest was born in 2004. With Brian's hunger for activities and Julie's hunger to be at the beach all day HHI became the perfect blend for us. Having 2 daughters most of our life is spent in the car so we love that when we come to HHI we park the car and don't get back into it until it is time to leave or for the occasional dinner at one of our favorite restaurants. We love riding bikes everywhere we go and exploring new parts of the island each trip!

We try and make traveling to HHI as easy as possible and provide more than enough beach equipment where you can leave all that at home. There are beach towels, beach chairs, an umbrella, beach table and sand toys.
