For such a last minute booking, I was so pleased with the ease of check in, getting the parking pass, and getting into the condo. This one was an easy walk to the beach and had a wonderful view. The condo was updated and had plenty of space for the 5 of us. We loved our first family trip to Hilton Head!

This condo was very well maintained and a perfect fit for our family. The ocean view was fantastic as was the location and accessibility of the beach, dining, shopping and everything you need for a great vacation. We will definitely be back in the future.

We had a great time relaxing at Vilamare. This condo was a little dated and the master bed needs a newer mattress, but our experience was exceptional.

Villamere is a great location. Facility is clean and well maintained. Right on the beach, nice pools, great ocean views from the room and balconies. Great private location in Palmetto Dunes. Management company very helpful. Sent brochure with preprinted parking pass,door and internet codes. Had a great time.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property is kept in great condition. the amenities are exactly what we wanted and the stay was wonderful.

The property had to be cleaned again after we arrived. It was dirty. There were no blankets on the beds and we had to ask for linens for the pull out. The kitchen was ill equipped. Not even a pancake/egg flipper. Very dated property. Furniture/carpet was stained and not in good shape. Some of the ceiling was coming loose in the bedroom and bath. Sliding doors on closets were rusted. The washer/dryer was an absolute nightmare. It sounded like a train was running through the condo. There were glass tops on all the tables and had not been lifted and cleaned under for some time. The only thing that was up to par was the view and the pool/ beaches. I would not recommend this property. The place needs to be upgraded throughout. Recommend Hilton Head or another property in Villamare.

Thank you for your review. We're sorry the unit did not meet your expectations but we hope you still had a nice vacation on HHI. I know that the office did respond to your requests on recleaning some things and getting you blankets. The owners are hopefully planning on some renovations in the near future but we appreciate your comments so that we can look at some of the other issues that you mentioned. Hopefully, you'll come back to see us again!

Overall, the property fit the need for a beach stay. However, compared to other units at the complex, it was a bit dated and would benefit from some upgrades in the kitchen and bathroom areas. Unit does not have a Keurig (which is normally pretty standard now for the majority of rentals) so bring your own if you enjoy your single-serve morning coffee. Also, washing machine and dryer are extremely loud during operation, so we really had to plan when to do laundry.

Unit has nice views from all three rooms. The beds are comfortable. Sea Turtle Getaways was wonderful to work with and they are excellent communicators.There's a new dishwasher (good investment). The washer and drier work well but the washer is very loud. The kitchen pantry has a lot of coffee filters but not a lot else, so if you plan to cook a little bring your portable spice pack :-)Enjoy the sounds of the ocean as you drift off to sleep.
