All knotty pine with great views of Lake Superior from this cute four season home located on a very peaceful and private setting. This wonderful home has appliances, beds, furniture, deck furniture, furnace and super deck. Everything you need for the best in restful vacations.

A beautiful lake stone wood fireplace adorns the vaulted living room with breath taking views of the lake.

We are 2 minutes from the Superior Hiking trail, Cascade Nordic ski and hiking trails, and the Norpine ski and bike trail. See the great waterfalls at Cascade Beach State Park only a mile or so away.

Located on Cascade Beach Road....Only 8 miles from Lutsen Mountain!

The cabin is great. Clean, homey, comfortable. Everything was working well. The deck was certainly a highlight. The stonework is beautiful. It was wonderfully quiet! We hope to come back.The ceiling fan switch does not work. We would suggest updated information booklet. We would also suggest a grab handle for getting in and out of the shower.Some of the exterior paint is cracking and chipping and it looks like some wood rot may be happening near the main door to the deck. We adore the cabin and would hate to see it sustain damage.

We love everything about Superior Solitude! The hosts Chris & Lindsi are very nice and really quick to get back to you if you should have any questions. We've gone quite a few times over the years and its still our favorite. We especially love the privacy, without other cabins sitting right on top of you and the luxury of a wood burning fireplace that's so hard to find now a days. The best part of course is being so close to the lake.....its just doesn't get any better than that!

Just as described—-with many updates! WiFi, new entrance, updated bathroom, portions of the lawn made available to us, new deck furniture were all appreciated. We have always appreciated that Superior Solitude was pet-friendly and sorry to hear that will be changing. It is definitely our favorite place on the North Shore—and just keeps getting better.

This is tidy, cozy cabin on a beautiful spot on the big lake. Dog-friendly though you’ll need a kennel if you go out without your pup. Kitchen is stocked with lots of cookware and utensils. Comfy bed and pillows, nice wood-burning fireplace and big picture windows. Simple classic cabin style for decor. Also—good shower! And laundry!

We’ve stayed at this cabin multiple times and always enjoy it. It’s quiet, secluded, and has an amazing view of the waves crashing on the rocks. A perfect place to recharge and enjoy some peace and quiet.

Super cozy cabin. Well stocked. View was amazing. Fireplace was perfect. Nice bedrooms and bathroom. Nothing was forgotten when creating the space. Location was perfect between lutsen and grand marais. We definitely want to come back many times.

We loved the cabin and location. Just as pictured in the VRBO ad. Extremely clean and well furnished. Beautiful views of Lake Superior from picture windows. Very centrally located to many state parks on the North Shore. Would definitely stay there again and again.

We were very happy with the cabin and the deck that surrounded it. Perfect location to watch the lake and simply relax. Very private, peaceful and cozy! Absolutely LOVED our stay!
