All knotty pine with great views of Lake Superior from this cute four season home located on a very peaceful and private setting. This wonderful home has appliances, beds, furniture, deck furniture, furnace and super deck. Everything you need for the best in restful vacations.

A beautiful lake stone wood fireplace adorns the vaulted living room with breath taking views of the lake.

We are a pet friendly property with plenty of trails near by to get you and Fido some great exercise. See the great waterfalls at Cascade Beach State Park only a mile or so away.

Located on Cascade Beach Road....Only 8 miles from Lutsen Mountain!

Superior Solitude

Superb cabin. Fantastic Lake Superior views in a very quiet and secluded environment. The cabin is very well stocked and very clean and comfortable . Gorgeous fireplace ! Lots of places to go snowshoeing, skiing, shopping. We come up to the north shore every winter and this is the best place we’ve stayed at.

Solitude and Rejuvenation

Beautiful cabin and very private property. The views of the shoreline from the cabin brought the outdoors to the coziness of a warm fireplace. Perfect for a fall getaway. We look forward to returning.

Perfect spot

We were very happy with the cabin and the deck that surrounded it. Perfect location to watch the lake and simply relax. Very private, peaceful and cozy! Absolutely LOVED our stay!

Stunning

Absolutely the perfect place, perfect location. Very private, relaxing and impeccable home! Listening to the waves all day long, watching the beauty and wonder of Lake Superior right from the windows or out on the awesome deck was so captivating. Walked along the rocks…looked at the night sky…it was magical in every sense of the word! We will definitely return!

Just what I wanted.

Returning to the North Shore was my birthday present this year. We loved the the views of the lake both inside and out! The house was very comfortable and convenient. We felt like home the minute we stepped into the door.

Perfect location for us

Stunning location right at the lake and away from Highway 61. Close to Lutsen, Cascade SP and Grand Marais, where we spend a lot of time. Easy to walk and bike on the Cascade Beach Rd (very little traffic). The cabin was immaculate and had everything we needed, we even had access to the garage for our bikes, a nice bonus. The lakeshore was wonderful, we saw otters, bald eagles, loons, various ducks. The wrap around deck rivals the shoreline for experiencing the lake. We especially appreciate that dogs are welcome. The owners were available and very responsive. We loved this property and hope to return many times.

Wonderful Relaxing Week

This is our second stay at the property. The location is up above the lake in trees. We enjoyed time on the spacious deck reading, watching the loons on the lake, and relaxing. The house is very clean, well appointed. We had a question for our host who responded within five minutes. We are looking forward to our next stay in November. This house is a treasure.

Nice family vacation

We enjoy our stay very much. Spectacular view from balcony, nice hiking, close proximity to stores and restaurants. Mosquitos eat us alive, but otherwise walking or driving around was pleasant and we saw much wildlife including bears (no moose though). Highly recommended.

Just the place we needed

Superior Solitude was perfect for a much-needed relaxing week with friends. The location and view are beautiful. The cabin is well kept and stocked with all the linens, kitchen ware, and amenities we needed. We all highly recommend it and hope to be able to stay again sometime.

Wonderful retreat

This beautiful cabin with the gorgeous views again was our home-base as we explored the trails of the North Shore. We are repeat visitors to both the North Shore and this cabin, and absolutely love both. This place grounds us and allows us to relax, appreciate the beauty and power of nature, and be grateful for our lives. Many thanks to the cabin's owners for allowing us to share in this awesome location!

Best Views

We have stayed at Superior Solitude a few times. It is our favorite place to stay on the north shore. The lake views are outstanding, it is always clean and well stocked. It is great to stay in both winter and summer! This past visit in the winter, we enjoyed puzzling, reading and watching the waves next to the cozy wood burning fireplace😁
