Lutsen Little Bear Lodge is a secluded post & beam cabin with tree-top views of the Boreal forest, Lake Superior and the heavens. Hiking just out the front door, and less than 2 miles from Lutsen Mountain, Jackpot/High Climber MTB trail, Superior Hiking Trail, Superior National Golf Course, North Shore Winery/Sawtooth Cider House and multiple dining options.

Spacious upper and lower decks overlooking Lake Superior and woods. Open kitchen and living area with cozy fireplace. Lot's of activities near by.

Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher; microwave; full-size oven/range; refrigerator; coffee-maker, toaster oven, mixer, corn popper, fully stocked spices, Weber charcoal grill...

Well behaved pets are welcome (not allowed on furniture & beds please) - add'l $60 housekeeping fee applies.

Activities: Hiking, biking, Nordic skiing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling at the door; Alpine skiing, Superior Hiking Trail, Jackpot/High Climber MTB trail, North Shore Winery and Sawtooth Cider House within 2 miles. Groomed cross country trails within ~1 mile.

Gitchi-Gami Trail, trout fishing, Alpine Slide, shopping in Grand Marais, BWCA access 20 miles away, Cascade River and Temperance River State Parks are 10 minutes away.

If you're looking for a beautiful, quiet cabin in the woods with all the amenities, Little Bear Lodge is the place for you. We truly enjoyed our stay here! Not only was the property secluded; it was centrally located, so you could enjoy lots of what the North Shore had to offer -- hiking, canoeing in the BWCA, wine tasting, various dining options, shopping, etc. It also was a great place to relax and share family time, The numerous windows offered 24/7 views of the woods and allowed for cool breezes. An unobstructed look at the night sky was provided from both decks. Absolutely amazing! In addition, the hosts were awesome! They communicated frequently and were committed to making sure we enjoyed your stay. We would definitely visit again!

We have been coming to Lutsen for 30 years and this was my wife’s favorite stay. Amenities such as an electric tea kettle and French press were the icing on the cake. The beds and linens were comfy and even things like toilet paper and paper towel were elevated from a typical rental. The view was beautiful and the location so very peaceful. Enjoyed both decks and fire pit immensely. Highly recommend!

Contacted the host because there weren't enough bath towels. He told us where to get more in the closet and sent out housekeeping to give us more kitchen towels (which he brought up and I didn't ask for) then charged us 50 for it. He also accused us of letting our dogs pee on the bed and charged for that as well. The fold out bed was dirty and we weren't able to use it. There was also a wasp nest under the deck.

I have rented many vacation homes but this one was by far the nicest I have ever stayed in. Exactly as described but with all kinds of little touches like shampoo, coffee, board games comfortable beds. Spectacular views and a very friendly and accommodating host. Little bear lodge is the best! Highly recommend.

The kitchen was so well stocked! It was very clean. He was quick with communication. Beautiful place with amazing sunset/sunrise views! We will definitely be staying here again!
