Spring House is located on a cliff's edge overlooking Lake Superior near Tofte, Minnesota. This two-story home has three bedrooms and two bathrooms with incredible views of Lake Superior from most rooms in the home.

Spring House has a unique layout where the main living area is on the second level of the home- providing guests with amazing 180-degree views of Lake Superior from the main living area. The floor-to-ceiling and wall-to-wall windows in the living and dining room areas make it feel like you're perched just above the Lake's edge. Two bedrooms and a bathroom are also on the upper level.

Downstairs you will find a second living area, another bedroom, and the second bathroom located adjacent to the bedroom.

This was an adorable house that fit our needs well. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking and the view is breathtaking.

Amazing location. Everything was great with the house. Very clean. It is beginning to show its age, not all the windows open and they leak. But we still had an amzing time and the location is perfect for tons of north shore attractions. If we go again we will book direct with cascade. Great hosts.

The location was perfect, right on the water; we enjoyed falling asleep to the sound of waves crashing into the rocks. We enjoyed night fires at the fire pit. Close to Grand Marais, Temperance River State Park, and many other hiking options. A little tricky to find the driveway entrance but we used landmarks like the Ray Berglund wayside for help.

Windows were rotted out, windows and screens were filthy. screens didn't fit the windows so large spaces for bugs to get in, radiator covers rusted out, main level smelled musty, one of the bedroom sheets were not changed/ clean. Spiral staircase to get to the main living space was not conducive for my parents on this trip. The home needs upkeep and work!!! I would NOT rent it again nor recommend it. Communicated re sheets and the maintenance person responded that is housekeeping and they aren't avaliable until mon am. Never again! Very disappointed. Too much money for this experience.

Great spot on the water. We loved hearing and seeing the waves from the big windows. I wish there was a deck to sit on and watch them in the fresh air, away from the neighbors, and that the people renting the spot next door didn’t take up all of the parking spots, including our two. Air hockey table could use some maintenance. Otherwise, we loved doing puzzles and hanging out.
