After multiple stays at RiverZen, we have yet to be disappointed. The location is great, with lovely river views, and Lynmari has always been a gracious and responsive host. My only regret is that we couldn't stay longer than a week this time.

Everything about this property was amazing! Lynmari is such an awesome host and there were so many little things she did to make this one of our best family vacations. The location is just perfect with amazing views of the Illinois river. Fishing all around you and we’ve never caught so many fish in our lives. My son had the best time fishing and could have fished all day! Ideal location to Starved Rock and all the other state parks. Ottawa is so close and a lot of excellent restaurants and history. We will definitely be coming back again soon!! It was such a great time!

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful riverfront, RiverZen. The owner was extremely communicative and helpful, the property was clean and comfortable, and the views were wonderful. We had such a great time together as a family, especially enjoying the board games provided at the house. We also spent time hiking at nearby Starved Rock, which made the trip even more special. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Fantastic property! Great location with plenty of family activities available (bike riding, swimming,fishing, restaurants). Loved hiking in nearby state parks and lounging on porch overlooking the IL River.

My sister and I stayed for a long weekend. The house was wonderful and the host was great to work with. They had great recommendations for food, activities etc. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Our favorite spot was the screened in porch. We absolutely loved the area and will be back for another visit.

Hosts were extremely communicative and very helpful w ideas for things to do, places to see, and restaurants. House is in a great location. Was very clean. It was better than we expected! Would go back in a second!!

Absolutely gorgeous property directly on the river! My favorite part was watching the sunrise and set from the balcony. House was immaculate and the communication was excellent. Thank you for all the suggestions on where to fish and places to visit. We will book again with you.

We took our two young toddlers with us for a family vacation. The host was amazing and left some gifts for the kids, they also had plenty of toys and games to keep the kids occupied when we weren’t outside. Not only was the host very helpful and nice, so was the whole community. We will definitely be back!

High marks 10/10!Host is passionate about providing best customer experience down to each detail: provided personally written descriptions of dining options and parks to visit, all the way to the most luxurious bath towels. She wants to share her love for the area to enhance her renter's experience. The property is fabulous: clean and well appointed. Had access to the pools and restaurant on-site, and a golf cart to get there. The screened-in porch allowed us to watch the action on the Illinois River rain and shine. I appreciate signing the rental contract and being given the care instructions for the property. Host is very responsive to texts. We had a great time, thanks to LynMari!

Totally enjoyed our time at Haritage Harbor. Perfect for a weekend get-away.The area was very clean and new. looks like a a movie set.Each home has a unique design, each painted and lanscaped with love.With plenty of activities to do. We had a view of the river, was cool to see the barges moving down the river.Visited the farmers market in town and had breakfast at the French Press. Thats just a must! Absolutly adorable decor and the food is amazing.Our host was easy to contact and very helpful.A seamless navigation with the home.

Great marina community to stay while hiking in the area! RiverZen was a wonderful place to stay and come home to after exploring the area. We especially enjoyed the porch and pool.

I’d give it 10 stars!!! Such a beautiful property! Everything you could need and more. I’ve never felt so comfortable and relaxed staying away from home. I cannot recommend this place and host enough. My fiancé and I will be staying there again.

We had a wonderful stay in this cottage. It was beautiful, clean, and stocked with the necessities. The owner provided lots of insight into the area so that my family of 5 had a wonderful time visiting local state parks and restaurants. The onsite pools were perfect for kids!

We've stayed here every time we've visited Ottawa and have never been disappointed. Lynmari is a caring and responsive host who keeps this place in great shape. The location is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the river view, or for serving as home base for adventures at nearby state parks. We're already looking forward to returning.

Weekend stay in Ottawa

Great family trip
