The Ottawa Escape! King Bed. Pet Friendly! Close to downtown.

Welcome to our Ottawa Escape! This beautifully remodeled home sleeps 6, and includes a king bed, two twin beds, and a sofa sleeper. Enjoy your morning coffee at our breakfast nook in the kitchen or outside on the front porch. The backyard offers ample space for the kids to play or your dog to roam. Enjoy movies on the 55 inch Roku TV or playing a game of giant Jenga. There is a washer/ dryer available for use as well.

This house is cozy and comfortable, being roughly 850 square feet total. It offers a full-sized kitchen, with everything needed to cook a family dinner. Beautifully remodeled bathroom with a bathtub for soaking. We offer a king size bed and two twin beds with ample storage for clothes and a dedicated work space for traveling workers. In the living room we offer a queen sized pull out couch with a 55 inch TV and plenty of games for the kids.

Although we are pet friendly, we do require a one time pet fee of $100.

We love sharing our home with all our guests. However, due to prior disrespectful renters and property damage we will only accept booking requests from:
-- Renters who are above the age of 25.
--Renters who will be staying during the reservation and are not booking for someone else.
--Renters who have less than 5 star reviews.

****Please park on our side of the driveway closest to the house. Please be careful of the telephone pole that splits ours and our neighbors driveway when pulling in and backing up.****

Please do not flush any flushable wipes as they will clog our plumbing

I went with my family for a week to have fun in Chicago, and this was one of the best Vrbo rentals I've been to. The place was very clean, and the owners were transparent and very friendly! The beds were very comfortable, and the shower had great water pressure. The only downside was how far away it was from Chicago (about 1.5 hours away). But the neighborhood was cozy, and even though it rained the whole time we were there, the house was comfortable and smelled amazing10/10 would highly recommend

Great location super close to downtown Ottawa, and near starved rock, great it if you’re going to see everything around the park and want to be near the restaurants and shops of Ottawa. Has everything you need, kitchen, laundry , and comfortable beds

my family traveled to Ottawa for our grandsons wedding and had an awesome time. originally we selected this property because it was pet friendly, we however ended up traveling without our fur babies. this home was great either way! you would never have known there were ever pets there My. daughter actually asked me to find out how they kept it so fresh. it wasn't air freshener smell just clean!the hosts were great and responded promptly every time I had a question. and the house had everything needed. the neighborhood was very quiet. I honestly can not think of a downside to write about. thank you Matt and Stephanie

Great place to stay for a fun weekend!

The house was great and centrally located. Went kayaking, hiking and enjoyed great food and drinks in the quaint downtown area.

Weekend getaway

Such a nice alternative to a hotel when we came to visit family and friends in the area. Enjoyed our stay and might be back someday.

State Park Getaway

We loved having this place as our landing pad while we explored all the area state parks!! Also, tried Sam’s Pizza and HiWay Diner as our local food spots and both were amazing!

great getaway location

My wife and our dog stayed for three nights, great location, super comfortable and cozy, close to everything in downtown Ottawa and just a short drive from Starved Rock and the trails. having the laundry and kitchen were a huge plus, great place to relax after hiking. the hosts were very helpful and accommodating, highly recommended for anyone visiting Starved Rock.

Perfect spot!

The owners were fantastic throughout the entire process and very helpful and communicative. The home is in a perfect area to visit all the local state parks. It was very clean and perfect for the 2 of us.

We bounced between Ottawa and Utica, visiting the towns and state parks so it was a good location for us. The home was comfortable and looked exactly like the listing. Happy that we were able to bring our pup along!
