We had a fantastic time staying in this beautiful home. There were so many options for ways to spend our time together all over the property. We had a wonderful time. Location was awesome! I would highly recommend staying there. Thank you so much!

Beautiful spacious home. It was probably the most well stocked homes I've ever rented. Plenty of cooking items, towels, beach items etc. Very close walk to the beach. We had a lovely stay!

Best OBX Vacation Yet

We had a great time! Last family vacay before my kids go to college. Property was super clean, I have never seen a more stocked kitchen - wish that was my actual kitchen supplies. Walk to the beach was short and easy!

One more night!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed this property. The pictures and description matched what we physically got to a tee! The downstairs hangout area was our favorite spot especially during rainy periods when we couldn’t use the beach. Very close to main highway and many shops/restaurants. We can’t wait to go back!

Wonder home and owners

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Sarah and Joshua’s home. It has been beautifully renovated and decorated. The kitchen was fully appointed which made it very easy to cook in on some evenings. Sarah is very responsive to questions and a generous host. The home is in a great location - close to the grocery store, restaurants, and shops. Also quick walk to the beach...

Great five day getaway

The whole rental experience was great. The location was excellent. Short walk to a great beach, restaurants, and ice cream. The house was perfect from the hot tub to the comfy beds. Check in and out was easy. We really appreciated all the supplies (plenty of dishes, towels, blankets, and space). We really, really appreciated the beach cart, beach chairs, and small roller cooler that made getting to and staying on the beach a breeze. Having a couple of skim boards for the teenagers was over the top! And on top of all that, Sarah was great. Easy to talk to, attentive but not intrusive, and very pleasant to work with. We hope to be back soon.

Just “One more night”

This property was absolutely delightful. My family and I came down with extended family for a family members wedding in the beach. Sarah was easy to get ahold of and very quick to respond when we had questions prior to and as well as on our trip. It was roughly two blocks from the beach making it an easy commute with small kiddos. The best ice cream is also within walking distance - Holy Cow, and my entire family would recommend. CVS is just around the block from the house. There are multiple grocery stores within a couple minutes commute. If you are up for an amazing breakfast highly recommend Stack ‘Em High, and the yummiest crab cakes at Millers on the bay side. We were saddened to leave, and our 4 year old asked why we couldn’t stay. I wish we could have had just “one more night,” which honestly could have turned into a couple more weeks. Thanks for graciously opening your house to us all and allowing to have our first North Carolina experience. If you are still renting out your house in a few years we would love to come back.

Cute & Perfect

The cutest, nautically decorated home with the perfect location! Super clean and we loved how well-stalked the kitchen was. Sarah was also very attentive and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Can’t wait to return!

Perfect location

Everything was perfect. The house was clean and well stocked. The outside amenities were simply amazing. We walked to the beach every day! Loved our stay.

We had a great time at this fantastic beach home. Super clean, tastefully decorated, and an excellent location. The kitchen was well stocked as well.

family time

Homeowners had everything! It it was super clean, decor and furnishing was fantastic which made for a great vacation! Plus, homeowners are responsive and very nice!

Wonderful stay!!!

This was the perfect cottage for the whole family! There are so many great things about this house, especially al the details throughout that made it feel really special. Location: It’s in a great spot in the heart of Kill Devil Hills and just a short two block walk to the beach. From the oldest person in our group (70) to the youngest (3), it was an easy and nice stroll to the beach. It’s also in walking distance to some great restaurants and ice cream, and a short drive to grocery stores, pharmacies, mini-golf and more. Amenities: The owners have thought of everything so you don’t have to! The kitchen is incredibly well stocked with all your cooking needs, and plenty of plates, cups, utensils and serving platters. It made cooking meals at home so easy and convenient. Decor: So beautifully decorated with amazing details that really made you feel like you were on vacation. And the house is so clean!! Hosts: Sarah was always so responsive, leading up to and during our stay. They’ve really thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Other things we loved: - Beach gear like chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards and even a rolling cart were available. It was so convenient that we didn’t have to bring our own! - Outdoor shower (soooo nice after coming back from the beach) - Swings and rocking chairs underneath the house - great place to relax with the whole gang We can’t recommend this cottage enough. We’d definitely come back!!

We will be back

This was our first time in the OBX and we selected Kill Devil Hills as the location we wanted to stay in. I was looking for a house close to the beach for my family of five (kids - 10, 12, and 15) and my parents. The house was perfect and beautiful! There was plenty of space for everyone, we could walk to the beach in less than 5 minutes and the owners provided everything you need (plates, games, beach chairs, etc.)! We really loved hanging out in the underneath outdoor area after we got back from the beach and I even went out there at night to relax when everyone else was getting ready for bed. Sarah (owner) provided regular communication leading up to our stay as well as through our stay. Her recommendations were great and if we had a question she responded almost instantly. We really enjoyed our week and will definitely come back to this property. I would recommend this to anyone looking in KDH.

OBX Winner!

Thoughtfully prepared to share- comfortable, attractive home stockpiled with what you hope they have! Our favorite spots were all outdoors- the swings, the adirondack chairs, and definitely the outdoor shower!

Breathtaking home, endless amenities, top-notch hospitality!

It’s difficult to put into words how wonderfully pristine, beautifully designed and absolutely guest-oriented this vacation home was! Our blended family of ten felt so welcomed; we now have amazing memories to last a lifetime. Sarah was ready to answer any and all inquiries! She sent several recommendations throughout our booking and stay. Everything was labeled well and supplied in advance, right down to the smallest items that slipped our mind. We so appreciated the open line of communication before and after our stay. It’s obvious that a lovely family owns and LOVES this home... and we were very humbled to be able to share it for a week. There isn’t a rating high enough for our experience!

Lovely Home away from Home at the Beach

This was one of the most thoughtfully designed and well stocked beach homes we’ve ever rented. It was a short walk to the beach, easily done even with the littlest legs in our party (age four) and trips home for lunch and naps. Plenty of room for kids and adults. There is nothing missing in the kitchen, so easy to keep everyone fed and happy. What makes this home extra special is the fantastic outdoor space! We moved our toiletries outside to the fabulous outdoor shower. Can’t tell you how easy the outdoor shower made coming home from the beach with kids. Once the kids were out for the night the hot tub, swinging chairs and outdoor games made it a perfect hangout for adults. The homeowners were very attentive and communicative. I would recommend this home to anyone looking for a relaxing beach vacation. The kids had so so much fun with the bunk beds and the movie room. So happy to have had a chance to stay at this great home!
