Perfect Vacation

We had a Fabulous family vacation at Close Enough! It has everything you need and more ! The house is super clean and comfortable. Stacy is Amazing ! She answered my questions quickly and went above and beyond ! Location is also perfect !

Great stay

We enjoyed the ‘Close Enough’ vacation rental. We came as a family and had lots of fun in the Outer Banks area. The house was clean and relatively close to the beach access. The decor and amenities were spot on. We were pleasantly surprised to see lots of extras to be used at the beach and around the house. It was a great stay!

Perfect shore getaway

Traveled with my husband, two kids in their 20's & our dog. Loved being able to bring our dog along! House was clean & as described. I appreciated there were plenty of towels, beach towels as well as beach umbrella, chairs & even boogie board for the ocean. Easy walk to the beach. Close to lots of restaurants & stores.

Perfection!

This house was perfect for our family vacation! It was very clean and the beds were comfy! It was well stocked with coffee, towels, beach towels, beach toys, and umbrella! The host was very quick to respond - although we had NO issues while we were there! Many fantastic places to eat were within walking distance and the beach was maybe a three minute walk! We would definitely stay here again! Thanks for a fabulous time!

Fabulous OBX Beach house

We absolutely loved our stay at Close Enough! Stacey was an accommodating and gracious host. She was also quick to respond to all of our questions. The house was easy to find and was in walking distance to some of the best restaurants in Kill Devil Hills. Well equipped and very comfortable, the house was perfect for our group and most importantly our pups! They had an absolute blast at the beach and we will definitely be coming back!

Wonderful stay

This home was perfect for our family of 6. The home was perfectly clean and had so many thoughtful amenities. The kitchen was so well stocked. Pots, pans, any serving dish you could imagine and even an air fryer. Stacey, the owner, even leaves paper towels, cleaning supplies and spices stocked. The lounge area underneath the house was lovely to have and the kids really enjoyed it. Location is good with easy, short walk to beach. Stacey was quick to communicate and very thoughtful. Highly recommend this lovely home

Beautiful Area For Small Destination Wedding

The house was great and only a few steps to the beach! We originally decided on this place to bring our fur baby, but decided to keep him back since we were traveling in from Pennsylvania. The house was spacious enough for the 6 of us that stayed. On our last night, we used the underneath of the house for a wedding reception (40 people) and it was perfect for us! Thank you for the amazing time, we can't wait to be back :)

Escape the hustle and bustle with exceptional location and beautiful beach house

Our stay was fantastic, it consisted of older adults and kids in their 20s. House was very clean, well stocked with dishes+ for cooking. Beautiful weather our entire stay, walk to the beach was basically walk to your backyard! We all have been to numerous beaches in our lifetime, this was one of the most stunning beaches you will find. The sand is like velvet and no seaweed to be found! Close walk to many restaurants. We also enjoyed a nearby water park, no lines either! If you are looking for a great place and area to stay, this is your pick.

A Great Get-Away!

We (ages from 10 to 80) totally enjoyed our stay at "Close Enough!" It was indeed close enough and was equipped with any and everything we needed. It was clean and neat as well. We all enjoyed the porch! It was the perfect place to enjoy that first cup of coffee. It was nice in the evening too! The location is perfect - close to great eateries as well as the ocean. Stacey was quick to respond to any need or question that we had. We were all impressed with her and her place, and hopefully we can return next summer.

Nice and cozy

The layout of the beach house was perfect for our family. Four bedrooms on each corner of the house; two bathrooms in between the bedrooms and a living/kitchen space in the center. A front and a back porch was handy. The hangout area underneath the house was messy but there was sand involved so that was understandable. The kids loved it.

Close Enough is More Than Perfect

Clean, Responsive owners, fantastic location. Walking distance to great restaurants (FDK, Millers, Dare Devil Pizza) The gated area below the house is perfect for dogs & kids, and entertainment in the evenings. House is super stocked with every appliance you could need on vacation (Air Fryer, blender and 2x coffee makers!!). Will book again, no question. Thanks for a memorable stay!!

Perfect trip!

We originally planned for this to be a family vacation with nieces, nephews, grandparents, pets etc. It ended up just being my mother and I and our two dogs. And it was awesome! The house is in a great location. Walking distance to the ocean. The area the house is in as well as the beach were incredibly clean. We didn't see any trash anywhere. The house itself was perfect. Plenty of room for us and our doggos with a nice big deck on the back for everyone to relax and listen to the waves.The house was incredibly clean and had everything we could have asked for. The Wi-Fi was great as well (I needed to work a bit). We are already planning our trip for next year!

Great Family Weekend!

The house has everything! There were so many conveniences provided! Beach chairs, boogie boards, beach toys and plenty of towels! The kitchen was fully stocked and prepared for whatever you might need. Beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. There were even pet dishes! The balcony porch and the downstairs area were great hangout areas. It's location is great too. Walking distance to Starbucks and other restaurants. Just a few steps to the beach with no roads to cross. Thank you!

Close Enough

My family and I had such a wonderful time at Close Enough. The house was beautiful and only a short walk to the beach and one of our favorite spots, The Bonzer Shack. Stacey was nothing short of incredible, always available and when we had an issue, due to some miserable weather, she was quick to respond and get the situation resolved. 10/10 would recommend Close Enough!

NYE weekend

This is a great location to have a family gathering. The beach access was perfect for us with a baby and two dogs. First day trek was beach walk (AKA shell and dolphin searching) with a crossover to First Flight and back. Just fabulous. Well equipped unit, very clean, and super nice internet. We didn’t use the downstairs gathering area because it was a little chilly but can imagine that as a really cool area to hang out. Maybe this summer…

Wonderful Stay!

What a charming home! My family that included elderly parents, had the perfect mini vacation at "Close Enough"! This home is tastefully decorated, equipped with everything ( anything I looked for, I could find), Stacey has thought of everything. Truly is close enough to the beach without a lot of walking to get there! Loved not having to haul linens and beach towels from home, such a plus! Under the house is set up great to entertain an evening thunderstorm, which we would have loved to experience. Lastly, as everyone else has mentioned, Stacey is very responsive! Thank you for an enjoyable stay!!

Excellent Location

Staying at Close Enough was such an enjoyable experience for our family. The house was a very short walk down to the beach and it was so nice not to have to cross any roads to get there. The house was also well stocked with everything you would need for your stay right down to charcoal for the grill and sun tan lotion! We especially enjoyed the area under the house as it is fenced in an perfect for our dogs to join us outside. The location of the house was also very central and enabled us to explore so much of OBX. We could get to the majority of things we wanted to explore in 45 minutes or less! And the Stacey was very quick to respond which made the whole process so easy to book :) We would definitely stay here again if we venture out to OBX in the future!

The location could not have been more perfect, the house had been loved and cared for by only one family before us and we could come and put our own touches on it to make it feel like the perfect home away from home...well, Close Enough!! And, that's exactly how she got her
name... Close Enough!

She's located centrally so that means close to all the best shopping and restaurants so you never have to go very far. And she's small but has all the perfect conveniences because we've put everything in place so we too enjoy can her as much as possible!
