Get away to the country in beautiful, rural Powell. Situated just 15 minutes north of Knoxville on a working farmstead. Enjoy your stay in this house built in the early 1900's and which was lovingly renovated in 2020. This fresh, cozy home has 2BR, 1BA with a queen sleeper sofa. Sleeps 7 and is ideal for families as the only bathroom is accessed through the master suite. Fully equipped kitchen and laundry room, an outdoor deck, wifi, and lots of East Tennessee charm.

The owners have renovated the property since the pictures were taken, so we didn't recognize the building at first. Everything inside was spotless, and well-prepared for our stay. The host was very responsive to answer questions, and communication was easy. We had a very fun time watching the animals too! Would definitely stay here again!

Tennessee getaway

Stayed here so we could be close to my brothers house, and it was so perfect! We loved the area so much and it was perfect for our family!

Ken’s cute little cottage was perfect. Clean , comfortable and the added bit of nature at its finest with sheep and cows to watch across the road as you sit on the front porch or look out the windows was solace for my soul.the cottage was stocked with anything you might need, thank you Ken and family for sharing your cottage. Cute little house with a kitchen better stocked than most. A set of kitchen knives! Spices! Leftover containers! Bowls! Cast iron pans!! Comforts of home in the kitchen. The hand-crafted wood furniture was beautiful. The animals grazing nearby were fun to watch. Note that the bathroom is reached by walking through the master bedroom.

Pleasant relaxing stay

This was a clean comfortable vacation stay. Having a washer and dryer available and plenty of clean towels was a plus. The kitchen was very well set up also. We would stay at this property on our next visit.

The property was as listed and was very quiet. We enjoyed sitting on porch and looking out windows at the animals. Check in and check out was very easy.

Clean and comfy farmhouse

Our family of 6 enjoyed our stay at this property. The house was very clean and was well stocked for our 2 night stay. The owner is super nice and took time to show us their farm animals, which my kids loved.

Enjoyable stay at this country home

We really enjoyed staying at this country home. My husband loved petting the friendly cows and we both relaxed in the rockers on the front porch. The house was clean and had anything you needed including snacks.

Wonderful relaxing stay in convenient location!

My adult daughter and I enjoyed our time together in this cute, well-equipped cottage. Everything was in perfect working order. The beds were very comfortable and the owner was extremely responsive. The cottage is conveniently located within 20 minutes of two State parks. We were able to easily access hiking trails each day of our stay!

Beautifully remodeled home in a quiet setting.

My family of six enjoyed our short getaway at this property. 20 minutes to Knoxville & 1 hour to Pigeon Forge, traffic permitting. Close enough to everything else you would need. We’ll definitely stay again when in the area.

A home away from home

this property is in a quiet area. We enjoyed the quiet and all the farm animals. The host family was very kind and attentive. The house was equipped with everything we needed. it really felt like home. We definitely will stay here again

Absolutely amazing!

Small house perfect for family time. The house was very well maintained, clean, and well stocked with supplies. Host was helpful with the entire stay. Our kids loved the animals and enjoyed watching them first thing in the morning. Quiet neighborhood that wasn’t too far from stores. Overall extremely pleased with our stay and would love to stay again!

Perfect for a short stay

This was just what we needed for a few days. Very clean. Owner was very responsive when we had an issue with an outlet in the kitchen. Not a lot of space, but clean and quiet.
