Lakeside Paradise, NEW Boat Dock, Steps to Water, Canoe & Firepit

Perfect for couples looking for a romantic get-a-way or a small family. This 2 bedroom has the ability to sleep up to 6 - utilizing a fold out couch. 550 sq. ft. heated, air-conditioned with a deck, Large Gas Grill overlooking the lake, with plenty of grilling utensils makes cooking-out the ideal choice.

Sleeping arrangements include 2 pillow top Queen Beds & sleeper sofa in the living room. Linens and towels are provided as well as. In the bathroom you’ll even find a hair dryer.

Indoor kitchen has stove, refrigerator, pots and pans. Flat screen tv's in living area and both bedrooms. Satellite TV in living area and both bedrooms DVD, WiFi, Pet Friendly. Gorgeous views of the lake, river and mountain range.

***Please note that our dock IS BACK and brand new.****

Pet Friendly: one small well-behaved, housebroken dog without fleas or ticks is welcome; clean up after your pet outside; dog must be leashed when outside and crated if left unattended in the rental- reach out if you are desiring to add an additional small dog. There is a non-refundable pet fee for one dog. No other pets are permitted.

Lakeside is a newer factory made cottage with log siding. You can't stay any closer to the water. Stay just steps from the water. Sits right on the shore line of Watauga Lake with Boat Slip and one Canoe - ideal for those who plan on making their vacation all about the water and mountain views.
Canoes must be removed from the lake at the end of your stay and return to the canoe storage. Failure to do so will result in a $125 fee.

We are close to Beech Mountain (about 17 miles) ski slope to enjoy during the Winter months and Boone, NC (22 miles).

We love this lakeside cabin! It is truly a great spot on Watauga Lake. The cabin is the perfect size and the porch is amazing. Steps from the lake and the dock. We love coming here every year.

What a beautiful place. Perfect for two couples or small family. Had everything we needed right down to firewood for the firepit. The lakefront location is so beautiful while relaxing on the front porch. Check in was a breeze place was ready to go. Highly recommend this for your future stay on Watauga Lake. Also great winery with great food and with entertainment Friday and Saturdays just 5 min away, Name is Villa Nove Vineyards in Butler TN. A must see.

The location was wonderful the cabin had a bad mold problem. And the surface of the floor looks swept but it was sticky. The washing machine, that I was counting on, was moldy and smelled horrible. The clean towels smelled of mildew. I assume they were washed in the machine there.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the location. We take any concerns regarding cleanliness very seriously and inspected the items mentioned after your stay. Our inspection did not identify mold in the washing machine. We did find a couple of black marks on the rubber door seal, which were cleaned, and we have reviewed our cleaning procedures for the machine. We also inspected the ceiling and found a couple of small spots that wiped away easily, with no indication of a mold issue. The towels provided for the stay had been freshly laundered and did not have a mildew odor when inspected. We’re always willing to investigate concerns brought to our attention and appreciate the opportunity to address anything that may need additional attention.

We stayed in the latter part of September. Location was exactly as description described.

Small family getaway

It was a beautiful place to stay me my husband my son and his girlfriend and my 2 grandchildren had a wonderful relaxing weekend here. I would definitely come back to stay again.

Wonderful stay in every way! The cabin was situated in a peaceful place on Lake Watauga, and the red canoe worked great for a pleasant time on the lake. The water temperature was perfect for swimming. The comfortable cabin had everything needed to make the stay a happy one.

Beautiful place on the lake

Lake Getaway

My family likes this property even more after a second stay. Clean, comfortable, and a new dock! Right on the lake, quiet, and plenty of outdoor activities available.

Excellent Stay!

Needed a place to stay in the area to finish up a home we were working on. It was very nice! Eazy to check in, clean, and a very nice place to stay after a long day of work!!! Will absolutely be there again anytime I am in the area!

Little piece of heaven

The views were gorgeous. The place was clean and very quaint. The picnic table on the deck was awesome so we could have our meals while looking at the lake and mountains. We will definitely stay here again.

Week with Family Lakeside

We had such a relaxing time here. We were able to just enjoy our time together in such a beautiful place. Canin had everything we needed and more. We will definitely be back!

Great at usual

This is the 2nd time staying at this cabin. The accommodations are great. The host is great and the lake is awesome. Book the trip.

Lakeside Paradise

We love this place to stay! Clean, great view of the lake, fully equipped, easy to access, boat dock. Easy to use the internet and wifi. Highly recommend!
