Historic Maple Beach Cottage

This charming historical home with cozy finishes and amazing location, will be your perfect getaway to Lake Michigan! This getaway has everything you need to enjoy a home away from home. We are located one block from Kids Corner and two blocks from the blue stairs on the South Beach. The beach is only a 3 minute walk away! It is also just 6 blocks from the River Walk, shopping and dining in South Haven's Historic Downtown.

Our cottage has two bedrooms with one bathroom. There is a king size bed in the larger front room off of the living room, and a smaller bedroom off of the dining room that has a bunk bed with double size beds and a twin trundle. Sheets, pillows, blankets, and bath towels are all included. There is a washer and dryer in the basement of the cottage, along with 6 beach towels.

Guests will be responsible for the cleaning fee after their stay.

Wonderful girls’s Weekend Getaway

This cozy and cared for historic cottage was exactly what my mom, sister and I needed for a weekend getaway in the winter. We had everything we needed, so comfortable and close to South Haven shopping and waterfront. Someone even came out twice and shoveled the sidewalks and driveway, as it snowed several inches during our stay. I’m looking forward to coming back!

Great location for family

The location was ideal for our family of 5. Very nicely decorated, had all the amenities we needed. We loved walking to the beach everyday.

Cute place - great location

Our family at six stayed at this property, plenty of space, clean, excellent location, we walked to most everything!! Owners were responsive to any questions we had as well. Would stay here again.

Historic Cottage

We really enjoyed our stay. What a great location and comfortable place. So close to the lake! Communication with the host was excellent. The house had everything we needed. Loved, loved the porch- my favorite spot.

Loved our stay

We loved our stay in South Haven at this property! The house is beautifully decorated & clean. It had many things to make our stay easier; a fully-stocked kitchen, beach chairs, umbrella, books, toys, etc. The location is very convenient to the playground and the beach. It is also walkable into downtown. Would recommend!

Perfect Fall Wknd w/ Toddlers

Location near both the park and beach was ideal and the house could not have been any more kid friendly. Nice touch offering kids toys, books and bikes! Would definitely stay again.

Sisters week

House is better than described. Comfortable, clean and well equipped. It's the perfect vacation spot. Lakefront is close and near town. We are working on booking our next stay. Our 3rd stay 3rd time.

Wonderful Weekend

My wife and I stayed in the cute place for the weekend to get away. The house was wonderful and a great location for us. Short walk into town for entertainment and dining, slightly longer and more relaxing along the beach. Very much enjoyed our stay her, and would definitely come back.

Cozy cottage!

We stayed here with our 18 month old for a quick anniversary weekend getaway and it was delightful! Perfect cozy little spot, ideally located just a few blocks from the lake and Kids Corner Park while still close to town. Very clean too and easy to check in. It was the perfect spot!

Sweet South Haven Cottage

Our family enjoyed our stay in South Haven. The house was the perfect size for our family of five. The front porch was a lovely spot to sit and read and play games in the afternoons. The host was very kind and responsive. Michigan is a treat!

Relaxing Winter Getaway

My family of 5 (including 3 kids) enjoyed a winter getaway at this property. The home was just as described and hosts were very responsive - we only reached out to let them know when we arrived and checked out. Beds were super comfy and house was stocked with books and games. South Haven has a lot to offer, even in the off season, and we can't wait to come back!

South Haven Fun

Mom took her 2 daughters and her 2 grandchildren over 18. We had a great time. Dancing, cooking, doing wine tastings out on the deck. Such a fun trip

Great cottage

This is an adorable small cottage in a terrific location. We pretty much parked the car on arrival and walked everywhere during our stay. The place is well equipped. Enjoyed coffee in the morning on the front porch & relaxing on the deck in the evening. Looking forward to our next trip.

Great place!

Great location, family friendly, bikes were the best part! Just an FYI- there is a grill but they don’t supply the propane so keep that in mind. We loved our stay here, we have stayed in A LOT of rentals, we will come back to this one. Clean, stocked, spacious.

Family trip with two kids, nine and six

The property was great! We had chairs, an umbrella, and beach toys for our kids. The host was responsive to any questions we had and checked in with us after our first day to see if we needed anything. Couldn't have asked for a better host or location!
