Spring Break with the Grand Kids

Fort Morgan is a great area for family vacations if you want privacy. The house was a great location to get quickly to the beach. Plenty of parking for our cars. The beach was not crowded so I felt safe with the kids. The house has worn from renters and the weather, but the space was great.

Stay April 1 - 7

The property manager was very responsive and helpful. However, I cannot recommend this particular property. The first day we arrived we found a dead rat inside the house entryway. I disposed of the rat and the property manager had someone come out and clean the entryway area on Sunday night. There were dead flies on the floor when we arrived, as well. I found rusty nails and large decking screws in several areas of the driveway and a pile of old wood debris underneath the outside steps. Ant hills in the grass. There were plumbing issues in the guest bathroom and the safety rail outside of the master was unstable and loose. We love Fort Morgan but this particular property is not recommended.

Water drainage

The house is in low space on property and if if rain much like when we arrived it had 3 inches of water in entrance patio and drive way. This was discouraging upon arriving but the kids had a first day blast playing in it. There is some minor repairs need done inside but overall great place to stay with beach access and the price you just can’t beat it. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect proximity to the beach

Our family had an excellent time at this property. Loved the short walk to the beach where we could leave our chairs and umbrellas out all week. Property had been updated with new paint and furnishings since photos were taken so that was a bonus.
