Both the property and communication with the hosts were excellent. We loved the cozy back porch and outdoor areas. This property is centrally located and very comfortable. We would definitely stay again!

Seamless. Convenient Cape location between ocean, bayside and lakes. Clean with bedrooms on both sides of living area with bathroom for each bedroom. Easy rides to the canal and to PTown and a Mike from 6A. All your needs and more in one special home. Don’t let the road location bother you. Very quiet for great sleeps. And great places to walk the dog. Great hosts that care about your stay and your investment. WIN!

Th door lock was a challenge, but the owner responded immediately. The tiny step down from the living room to the dining room was not ideal. The house was clean and well supplied. We enjoyed our stay.

Charles I’m glad you stay was good and sad you felt the door lock (which you did figure out) warranted a less than perfect score for us! Going forward keep in mind these scores can be detrimental to renters and should reflect your overall experience which from what you shared with me, you were very pleased.

This is a charming cottage and we had a wonderful off season (winter) stay.

I highly recommend this property. Wonderful cozy cottage with great host! I had a super time and would go back!

Great location for a short stay

This home was in a great location for us to explore Brewster, the flats, the rail trail, shops, and nearby restaurants. The backyard was fabulous for throwing a ball around and to store our bikes, as well as access to a fire pit for great evenings outside!

Simply a great place. I won't spend time gushing so just know that we loved it and you will too. The only nitpick I had was there was no way to start a fire for backyard pit ( no matches and so on )and while there was bar soap, there wasn't any shampoo or the like. The place was so great that these two tiny details were the only thing I could find lacking.

Each bathroom has a basket under the sink with shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, razors etc. I am sorry I didn’t check if we had run out. Thank you for the heads up! Likewise the matches should be in the kitchen drawer. I appreciate you mentioning these details! I’m on it!

Perfect getaway

Our trip to Brewster was the perfect winter getaway. The house was clean, updated, and in a great location. Karleen was an excellent host and had great recommendations for eating and activities. We will definitely be returning!

A Week at the Cape

This house was perfect for our family group. Bedrooms and bathrooms accomodated 4 adults and 2 children, kitchen is well equipped, backyard is quiet and spacious. Great location for going to bay or ocean beaches as well as visiting a number of surrounding towns.

In summary

Cozy cottage with a roomy backyard . Close by beaches and restaurants. Brewster is a great location as a starting off place to other areas of the Cape.

Lovely Escape

Perfect house for our family!

Karleen is a great host, communication was excellent. The house was perfect for our family, very spacious and so clean! The beds were very comfortable. The road is a little busy but we were not there enough for it to bother us. Would definitely stay again!

Great Property

A great getaway

The property is lovely. Karleen was an incredibly accommodating and responsive host. It is a very comfortable place to stay. I loved the sunroom and the proximity to cute shops and beautiful beaches. Very clean and well equipped. We hope to come back again!

Great Value, Very Clean

Karleen was helpful and responded right away when was needed. Clean vrbo with everything ready to go. Would stay again, especially if judging by its price point vs location.

Relaxing... relaxing... relaxing!

We enjoyed our stay @ escape getaway. There was very little from online description and our getway that was different. Quaint village setting Definitley 4+

Kathy I am sorry we only earned a 4! Would have loved to know what you were not happy with as we went out of our way to accommodate you even with your late checking out and damaging the towel bar. As you know our ratings are important to us, as they help travelers decide what property to choose out of the many good ones available. Please let me know what we could have done better as we are completely puzzled!

Location, location, location!

The cottage was in a perfect location on the cape -- close to both 6A and 6 which made it easy to get around to other parts of the Cape. Breakwater Beach was 3 minutes away which was a great place to watch the amazing bayside sunsets. The cottage was clean and comfortable, and we loved the layout. The host was warm and welcoming and was very responsive to our needs.
