This beautiful all season cabin located in Tomahawk offers 3-bed, 3-bath, a open concept kitchen, dining room and living room filled with natural light. Enjoy views of Lake Nokomis from the sun room or get out on the lake for a day of activities and fishing. A great place for family and friends to meet up and enjoy the water. Large fire pit area, private pier, paddle boat, and large outdoor space. Close to Bear Skin/ Hiawatha state trail and several ATV/Snowmobile trails. Pet friendly cabin. Newly added is the game room, with pinball, electronic darts and a foosball table.

We have one security camera located on the corner of the garage pointing down the driveway.

Beautiful place

This cabin had everything we needed and more! Very clean and well maintained! The sunroom was by far my favorite, I enjoyed the mornings with the fireplace overlooking the lake. By far the best place we have rented

Weekend getaway

Property home was beautiful, very well maintained, clean, all of the comforts of home. Convenient drive to enjoy Fall Fest activities in the area. Playground was a very nice option. Communication with host was excellent.

2nd Annual stay

Fantastic vacation property. See my review from last year (Trip down Memory Lane) We loved the new upgrades. The property is well maintained and very clean.

Outstanding Vacation Rental

This is our 3rd year staying at Glenn and Barb's home. They never cease to amaze me with all the amenities and upgrades. We really feel at home and enjoy the views and various amenities throughout the home. All VRBO renters should take a lesson from these two on how to make your guests feel welcome and coming back each year! I can't say enough great things about this rental.

Tomahawk Rendezvous 2024

Very well stocked with everything one needs and more. The house is comfy and a relaxing place for the older adults with so many fun games for the youngsters. The child gate worked perfectly to keep the 1.5 year old safe. We loved the new fenced in side yard for our dogs. We had wonderful steaks on the propane grill. Great time.

Nokomis Cabin

One of the nicest vrbos we have stayed at. Very clean , organized and stocked. There was plenty of space for our two families. Great area, close to lots of great restaurants. Owner have done a great job making everything go smoothly so we can make the most of our time.

Fantastic!

This was the most relaxing Christmas travel in 20 years and staying here had so much to do with this. The location is convenient yet out of the bustle of town. The home is very nice with the sun room setting absolutely beautifully setup. Christmas tree and decorations. Fire place to relax by and plenty of space for everyone! The lower level was a hit with our grandchildren! The 1972 pinball machine was nostalgic for us older folks yet exciting and new for the younger generation. Foosball for all, and a pellet stove to sit and read by when everyone was done! We’d recommend this location to anyone looking for a private locale with amenities galore. We hope to return in the warmer weather to experience the lake in unfrozen conditions!

Trip down memory lane

We visited Lake Nokomis as children and young adults and took our now adult children there as they were growing up. This lake house has been recently remodeled and is completely furnished. The layout is great and the location is perfect on the water and close to restaurants. There are more amenities here than any VRBO we have seen. The property and boat dock are well maintained. We would definitely stay here again.

I love this lakehouse

This place is amazing, my adult children and dogs had an amazing time! It's so clean and well kept and has any ammenity you can imagine. The screened in porch overlooking the lake was my favorite plus we had lots of fun kayaking and cooking in their lovely kitchen.

Get away

The property is exactly how its listed. Plus it had additional items you could have used outside. Next time we will bring wine it had it's own little wine fridge!!! Everything was great we will be staying here again!!!

Amazing as always

This is our second stay at the Doherty Lake home and has fast become our favorite. The kitchen and sunroom remodels have really enhanced the essence of a lake home. This lake home provides gorgeous views of the lake while still supplying all the luxuries of home (dishwasher, washer/dryer, and game room). Fishing was amazing and we caught a variety of walleye, norther, bass, and crappie. Of course the pan fish off the end of the pier were enormous!!!! Barb and Glenn have been outstanding hosts and have everything you need to enjoy your stay! Would highly recommend staying here!!!!

Really Nice Property

We had a good time at the cabin. I'd recommend. A few positive points: * The place was big and warm. * The lake is beautiful. * The place is quiet, but still close to food and bar. * The hosts are amazing, communicative and non-intrusive. A few negatives: * The neighbors are relatively close by. One guy ran a leaf blower nearly the whole day (the one and only sun-shinny day we had). :-( * The walk-in showers are likely standard size, but feel small.

Tomahawk Rendezvous

Our stay was combined with a Rendezvous. We spent most of the days at the camping site with more family and friends. Having the house for the evening and nights was so comfortable. We spent time indoors playing cards way past midnight. Had room for all of us. Very well supplied and clean. Beautiful spot.

Time to relax!

We had probably the worst weather we could have....snow one day then 40-mph winds the next three days. But the house and property are beautiful and we will definitely return again. It was worth it all just to see the Bald Eagles!

Family Snowmobiling Trip

We had a wonderful stay at this lake house. We chose this home because it was fantastically close to the snowmobile trails. But the use of the garage, the well stocked kitchen, the beautiful snow covered scenery and all of the supplied board games made our stay even better! We had a question during our stay and the owners were very quick to respond to our message. We had a great vacation!

A great place for family

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Bathrooms were nice size and well kept. With bedrooms there was enough room for everyone. And the extra touches, a Christmas tree and decorations was a nice surprise. Definitely will be coming back.
