Sandy Bottoms Vacation Getaway/Golf Cart Included

Come start your vacation at Gulf Highlands Beach Resort. This family friendly resort provides four lighted tennis courts, 11 pools (5 heated seasonally), pickleball, putt-putt golf, playground for kids, a fitness center to work out in, and a beach clubhouse with pool, café and snack bar. Most importantly this unit is a short 3 minute walk to the deeded beach access. This gated community makes it easy to use the golf cart that is available while you stay in our townhome end unit. You will love the fact that you have no elevators to wait on, just pull up unpack and head straight to the beach. This 2 bedroom 1.5 bath home has with coastal chic furnishings that is sure to make you feel relaxed and at home. The upstairs has 2 bedrooms and a full bath. The master bedroom has a king size bed and access to the upstairs patio, while the second bedroom has a twin over full with a pull out twin trundle bunk bed both with their own smart TVs. The downstairs has the half bath, kitchen, dining table, island with bar stools, additional patio and washer and dryer. Also we have included for your beach stay- 2 chairs and a cooler.

Summer rentals require 3 night minimum.

Great rental

Everything was as described, the golf cart was awesome for going back and forth to the beach. But you could walk to beach without being to far. It was in a convenient location if you wanted to go anywhere.

The condo and the resort amenities are first rate. So easy to get to the beach. Very safe, close to restaurants and shops. The owners were exceptional. Family Vacay

It was so great staying here! It’s in a perfect spot for the beach and the golf cart made it much easier to get to the beach access. Close to all amenities too. Our kids loved it just as much as we did. It was a nice place to hangout, relax and sleep. We will definetly stay again! 10/10

The property was very close to the beach and the golf cart made it even easier!! We could contact the owners and get a very quick response to any questions. Everyone in the complex was friendly: it was a great place to stay!!

Golf Cart is a plus!

Awesome first time stay

We loved everything. The accommodations were clean and as described. The golf cart was a nice addition to use in the property and to get to the beach access point. The accommodations fit out family comfortably and had space for our party of five to relax and stretch out. The host was so accommodating and answered all of my questions to make our first time stay in PCB a great one.

Awesome Extended Family Vacay

We came down to PCB for my daughter's cheer camp and stayed a total of 10 nights. Everything was spectacular!! We had plenty of space and everything we needed!! The golf cart was a GREAT bonus!! Thanks so much for sharing your space with us!!

Great location in Panama City Beach!

The owners were very helpful! Any concerns or questions we had were addressed immediately. The condo was clean and updated. The complex was quiet, and the people were friendly. The location was perfect for going to the beach and attending the baseball tournament which was our reason for the trip. If we are back in town, we would definitely stay again. :)

Clean, updated and great location

We had usch a great time in this townhouse. Everything is in great shape and the house is so clean. We loved the proximity to the beach and the golf cart was a great way to lug all the beach stuff. Our daughters both say that the golf cart was the best part of this trip. There aren't chair rentals on the the highlands beach property, however if you walk directly to the left you are able to rent the chairs in front of magestic, that worked great for our family. The pools were all clean and we loved playing putt putt. We will definitely be back 😀

Great getaway for families!

My family of 6 had a GREAT stay at Sandy Bottoms. The unit itself was very clean and nicely updated/decorated. We had plenty of space to relax in the living room and plenty of seating for meals in the dining room/kitchen too. The beds were comfy and the kids room slept all four of our children comfortably. We would definitely stay here again! Pros: -Parking (no cramped parking decks or elevators) -Golf cart (our kids loved it!) -decorated nicely and good space -beach front pool/club house -very responsive owner Cons: -Very busy area of PCB (for some this could be a positive- very walkable) -clubhouse was closed for renovations (we would have liked to use that amenity)

Nice Quiet Stay!

We had a great time at this condo in October. The weather was great, access to the golf cart was convenient and fun for the kids. Easy beach access and the unit itself was nicely decorated and clean. My only complaints are that one of the advertised bed spaces was broken/unavailable when we arrived which meant we had to rethink our sleeping arrangements. It wasn't the end of the world but would have been nice to know ahead of time or remove from the listing altogether if owners do not plan to fix/replace. Also, it would have been nice to note in the check-in instructions that guests need to bring their own dishwashing liquid and/or dishwasher tabs. We cooked most of our meals at the unit and were unable to run the dishwasher and had a very very minimal amount of dish soap to hand wash...just didn't seem worth it on such a short trip to go buy these items but I could have brought them from home had I known they would not be provided!

Vacation #1

We had an amazing time. Our place was just as described. It was very clean and cute as can be. The golf cart made getting around easier but it was just a short walk to all the pools and the beach. My husband was very happy with the TV's and channels and options in both bedrooms and living area. Plenty of sleeping room for unexpected guests. Had a few questions and very minor things that Ammie and Ron quickly and eagerly addressed and took care of. It was a pleasure staying at their place.

Updated, clean townhome perfect for families

This was the perfect place for us to relax and recharge with 3 boys during the pandemic. All of the onsite amenities with the heated pools, mini golf, playground, tennis courts made it easy to stay busy without having to load up the car and away from large crowds. And this unit is a 5 minute walk to the beach, closer than several others we looked at, and I'm glad we factored that into our choice. Everything was clean, with modern décor (looks recently renovated?), plenty of space (even to do a week of distance work/school), and conveniently well-stocked with tennis racquets, mini-golf putters, and beach chairs. The Blackstone grill was a big hit for us too as we got seafood and ate in most of the time. Ammie and Ron were pleasant, responsive, and easy to work with. Ammie went out of her way to notify us of the NYE fireworks on the beach, which were a big hit with the kids, and they shared some easy recipes for this big cast-iron type grill. We'd definitely stay here again and hope to be back soon!

Home away from home

I loved the “home” feeling instead of the “hotel” feeling. The location was excellent with easy access to the beach - a short golf cart ride & then a 3 min walk the rest of the way. The house was clean, but needs some minor repairs. The golf cart is a whole other story. In our check out instructions we were told to charge & cover the cart when we leave. When we arrived, it wasn’t covered & has weather damage, including a front plastic panel for the front seat hanging off with several rusted staples exposed & sitting in the foot rest area along with black spots all over the seats. The exposed rusted staples are a major hazard for tetanus. I notified the owner & she said she was aware the cover was missing & that the front panel was flimsy. I’m not sure why that wasn’t conveyed to us in the instructions, but the cart either needs repairs or replaced. It’s a hazard & made us nervous to even drive it. Be sure to bring your own laundry detergent. There wasn’t enough supplied to fill the machine 1/2 way for the sheets that are required to be washed before you leave. We only stayed for the weekend & didn’t need to wash our clothes so we saved the minuscule amount of detergent for the sheets. Other than the golf cart, everything else was great. The neighborhood is quiet & clean. The pools are clean. October was a great time to go. The weather was perfect & the crowds were small.

Great Rental

We truly enjoyed our stay at this property. It was our first time staying in Panama as a family. The golf cart was extremely helpful as it allowed us to drive the pools and the beach parking easily. The owner was extremely responsive and helpful when needed. Would love to stay here again some time in the future.
