Welcome to Homer! Our accommodations are clean and comfortable, with breathtaking views of Kachemak Bay, mountains, glaciers, and the Homer Spit.
The apartment is on the second floor above our own garage, has a private entrance, one full bathroom and two bedrooms (Queen bed, Full bed w/ twin). Fully equipped kitchen with dining table, living room, washer and dryer, internet and Roku (for streaming channels).

Homer is one of the most beautiful places in the world, with many outdoor activities, exceptional fishing experiences and exciting moose viewing!

Amazing base of operations for a two-day stay in Homer.

Nothing but positives to communicate. Beautiful, clean, and well appointed property. Beautiful views of the bay, spit, and mountains across the bay from HUGE windows in both the main bedroom and living room. My wife and I found the vista mesmerizing. Can't describe how much time I spent just looking out those windows. Even when it was raining out, watching the clouds drift over the bay was beautiful. Five minute drive to anywhere in Homer. Bed was comfortable. We used the kitchen a lot, and it had everything we needed. Tanja was a magnificent host. Communicative and accommodating. Parking easy. We followed Tanja's instructions and drove a mile up the road and saw a mama moose and calf strolling the neighborhood. Loved Homer. Loved the property. We told our family in Anchorage and the property, and on their next trip to Homer they are going to try to stay there. We will definitely stay their again when the opportunity arises.

Best Place to Stay in Homer

Words cannot describe how nice this rental is. It has everything you need and more. The hosts could not have made it any more welcoming then they did. The banana bread was such a nice gift. The rental is immaculate and makes you feel at home.

Spectacular Home Away from Home

Moose View was the perfect spot for us to unwind after busy days of fishing, hiking and exploring Homer. The apartment was well appointed and the view spectacular. Tonya and Marc answered our questions promptly and help us feel at home. We highly recommend Moose View and hope to visit again!

beautiful views and comfortable lodging

This was one of the best house rentals I've stayed in. The views of Kachemak Bay alone made it worth it, but the space was also clean, comfortable, and well-stocked with kitchen and bathroom supplies. The beds were very comfortable (even the sofa was comfortable!) and it was so nice to have a washer/dryer available. The cookies were delicious, too. :) Beautiful place, thank you so much for renting it out at such a reasonable price!

5 Stars all around!

We had a great week at Moose View. The host was very responsive and did a great job creating a warm and comfortable space. The black out curtains in the bedrooms were a bonus! The kitchen was well stocked and the couches and beds were very comfortable. The views are spectacular, especially at night with the lights on the Homer Spit. We will be back for sure!

The view was breathtaking, and the area was tranquil. A cow moose came to graze in the backyard a couple of days ago. I would stay here again.

Homer Girls Getaway Weekend

Spectacular views of the Kachemak Bay and Homer Spit!!!!! Located at the end of the street, this is the only structure so there is no traffic. The open concept of the kitchen and living room area allows for easy conversation and constant glances to get a view of beautiful Kachemak Bay! It is clean and the beds are comfortable. I will definitely be back, with or without my friends. Overall, this is a 5***** place in Homer!

Awesome Stay!!!

I can not say enough good things about this property. The place was immaculately clean and well maintained, the owners were very responsive to our needs. They even provided the best banana bread we have ever had. View was spectacular! Our first night a moose bedded down for the night right outside our window. We will return!!

Beautiful VRBO; exactly as pictured & described. The hosts were wonderful; very responsive to our inquiries & even offered assistance when we had a flat tire!! Cannot recommend them enough!

Excellent Property Inside and Out

Tanya has a clean, comfortable, well stocked property, easily accessible and repeat with helpful information about the Homer area. The views of Kachemak Bay and Park from the home are more than stunning; they are in intoxicating.

Amazing view

This place had plenty of room for 4 adults, everything you need to prepare meals, shower and relax. But the view was the cherry on top! We truly didn’t want to leave!

Homer at its best!

I’ve been to Homer so many times but this was by far one of the best places to stay. Glad I brought our first time visitors here. Great place, incredible view. Thanks guys!

Amazing stay

Tanya and Marc went above and beyond to ensure we had a smooth and comfortable stay. Upon arrival we were greeted with an amazing view and home made banana bread. By far the best location and service we've experienced. We debated whether we wanted to go experience more of Homer or stay in the VRBO and soak up the beautiful view from the couch.

Spectacular View

We enjoyed our relaxing stay at the Moose’s View. It was a perfect location for exploring Homer, close to town, yet far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. It was very comfortable and clean, and had everything we needed for our three night stay. We loved the beautiful view of the Homer Spit, Katchemak Bay, and the surrounding mountains. We saw bald eagles and moose from the living room window, and sandhill cranes in the neighbor’s yard. We look forward to staying here again on our next visit to Homer.

Homer Alaska fun

I liked the place so i reserved for two nights. We are completely pleased with Moose View. Enjoyed the bed, shower, tv, washer, dryer etc.. Very nice quiet and great view of Homer spit. Will book again next trip to Homer. Host provided banana bread and it was terrific.

Fantastic stay at Moose View

We stayed for 3 nights at moose view in August. The unit was very clean and inviting. It had nice decorations and had a lot of nice amenities that help make a stay perfect. The location is on the hill with the most wonderful view of the spit, katchemak bay and state park. We really enjoyed our stay here and was our favorite in our 2 week Alaska trip.

Perfect Location Stunning view!

This really was the perfect location! Close enough to town but far enough away that we could enjoy the peace and quiet of the mountainside. And the view! Wow! Double picture window in the living room and huge picture window in the master bedroom. Overlook of the mountainside, bay, Homer Spit and mountains/glacier across the bay! Unit was perfectly clean and perfectly supplied with everything we may have needed. Owners are super nice people!

Not 1 complaint. Clean, easy to communicate with, excellnt view and awesome banana nut bread on arrival. Saw a mama moose with her baby out the back window and a rabbit. Would stay again in a heart beat.

Great view!

Property was just as described. We loved our time there. Great view of the Spit from the large windows. Host gave wonderful suggestions as to where/when to see wildlife close to the property and restaurants in the area. Would definitely stay again!

Perfection!

Another property we booked ended up being canceled by the host due to necessary home repairs so we rebooked here and we couldn't have been happier! A true blessing in disguise. The view from this property is everything the ad says and more. This home has the best furnishings and accessories. I highly recommend it!

We had a great stay at this apartment in Homer. The views are just amazing. We had a note and delicious banana nut bread waiting for us when we arrived. Picturesque Homer Stay

My husband, son and I recently stayed at this property in Homer and it was one of our favorite accommodations during our two-week trip throughout Alaska. The apartment itself was extremely clean, well-appointed with the basics as well as extras like sleeping masks and fresh baked banana bread for our morning coffee when we first arrived. Perhaps the best feature though was the fantastic view of Kachemak Bay we were treated to out our front window. We were even treated to a moose visit early one morning by a mama and her calf that we watched just outside the panoramic window. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone with a family, or simply a couple stay.

With family in Homer, we were visiting every summer to fish and enjoy all that Homer has to offer. In 2020, our brother built his new home in Homer and we came to help out. We loved the VRBO we rented so much that we when the opportunity arose, we had to buy it for ourselves!
