College St. Retreat, is a German style Sunday House that has been updated and remodeled located just 4 blocks from main street near the heart of all the shopping and restaurants. The house is about 1,000 sqft with 2 bedrooms both with king beds and 1 bathroom. Open floor plan with nice living room, sectional sofa, full-size kitchen, large island with seating, appliances and kitchenware. The bathroom has a nice walk-in shower, a double sink vanity, and a washer & dryer.

Great cabin, great location!

Had a great visit. Property was clean, well stocked, and close to all that Fredericksburg had to offer. My 95 year old mother especially enjoyed all the wildlife we could watch out the front window. Will definitely visit again.

Girls getaway weekend

My granddaughter and I stayed at this home for a girls getaway weekend. It was the perfect place to stay. The home is very clean and comfortable, and is close to shops and restaurants. The neighborhood is very quiet. We enjoyed watching the beautiful sunrises and deer in the mornings. We will definitely book this home next time we visit Fredericksburg.

Love it

We’ve stayed here many times and always have a comfortable stay. My husband likes to ride his bicycle in the area and this is perfect home base.

Wonderful stay would recommend!!!

This house was perfect for our annual girls trip. Cute, comfy and conveniently located to all the fun activities that we had planned. The neighborhood was quiet and we even saw deer in the yard on the morning of our departure. I will be staying here again & would recommend it to anyone with a small group looking for the perfect place.

Great TV

Was in town for a Porsche Club event, but I'm also a big college football fan and wanted to be able to catch up with all the big games over the weekend. The big TV was a selling point for me and it did not disappoint. Place was very clean and comfortable.

Girls Trip

We had an amazing time at this house. It was perfect for just the three of us girls. It was an extremely safe and comfortable neighborhood. Very homey house. Joseph was very kind and responsive as well!!! Perfect location to Main Street as well, I loved that we could drop by the house to drop off to go boxes or go to the restroom.I will be definitely booking this house again! Thank you for having us.

3rd Times a Charm

This was my third time booking this location and once again I was not disappointed. The location is perfect. On our way into town we visited two wineries and while staying at the College St Retreat, we shopped and made time to hike at Enchanted Rock.

Home away from home

We rented this property for 8 nights to escape an extended power outage due to Hurricane Beryl, so we were looking for a home away from home and this fit the bill. Kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed; cookware, dishes, glasses, silverware. The appliances are of good quality, including a toaster. Having a washer and dryer was a big plus. Beds and living room furniture were all very comfortable. AC cooled great! Bathroom was spacious with a nice walk in shower. Loved the front porch with rocking chairs, which we spent time every morning and evening. Location was on a street that dead end so it was quiet. There is construction going on next door but the workers don't start till 7:30 and stop around 3:30. Loved watching the deer walk by every evening and woke one morning to a baby fawn laying in the yard. We would definitely stay here again... perfect for not only a short stay but also a longer stay.

Family Time in Fredericksburg

This was a beautifully decorated house in a great location. The neighborhood was quiet. The beds were comfortable. The living room has a comfy large couch and a large tv. Great place.

Birthday weekend

Perfect bday weekend for my daughter and myself. This little cottage is adorable. Clean and inviting. Everything we needed. More than enough room. Location not far from places we wanted to go. Neighborhood quiet and charming. Will definitely return!!

Great place to relax after a day of shopping and/or wine tasting!

My cousins and I stayed in the College St. Retreat for a weekend get-away. The house was exactly as advertised, and VERY clean! There were 4 of us and we had plenty of space. The kitchen was well stocked with necessities, and there were plenty of linens. There is a family of deer that like to frequent the backyard in the evenings. Access to the property was easy. The host provided the information a few days ahead of arrival as promised. The location is great; very close to main street. We will definitely be back.

Girls Weekend

Family time

Well appointed home in a quiet neighborhood …where you might get a deer parade down the street about 10:00pm. I have stayed here twice and the deer are a thing. Love it!!! The owner is attentive. And the house is conveniently located near Main Street. Will stay here again and again and again.

The Best Vrbo in Fredericksburg

This home was perfect for our stay, 3 adults. The two bed, one bath had all the amenities one could need with a full size kitchen for cooking our Thanksgiving dinner. The property is well maintained, and Joseph was very attentive and answered any questions I had in a very quick manner. He had great recommendations for things to do and eat in town. The location is very close to Main Street, maybe a few blocks away, we found it to be the perfect distance. We definitely will be back to visit this home again in the near future. Thank you Joseph!
