Welcome to "Just One More..." our families home away from home. Our 3 bedroom 1.5 bath house is on a corner street just a few blocks from the water (a 10 min walk!) and a short golf cart or bike ride away from the the Main Street in town - where you will find our favorite bakery, pizza shop, candy store and more! The rooms are as follows: (with all linens and towels included)

Master: King Bed
Room 2: Queen Bed
Room 3: Twin bed and Twin over Full Bunk

While you stay you are welcome to use our beach equipment and toys, play our games, set up our corn hole boards, and ride our bikes! You may want to make arrangements to rent a golf cart while you're in town as well- it makes short trips to and from the beach and the main street a breeze! (Ask about an added fee to rent our cart, which seats 4!) Please make our home yours with a fully stocked kitchen for all your cooking needs, an outdoor propane grill, a large dining room table perfect for family game night, 3 Smart TVs, and a strong wifi signal throughout.

Just One More is a cozy home with sleeping space for up to 8.

Beach getaway

This was our second year at this place. Our family loved it! It was great for our children with the fenced in back yard and optional golf cart. House is clean, comfortable and convenient.

A dream vacation

We couldn’t have asked for a better stay! The house was very clean and fully stocked with everything we needed and more. This is the perfect quiet location within a short walk or golf cart ride to everything. Easy check in and out procedure. The hosts were wonderful. We will definitely be back!!

Cute House

We LOVE Cape Charles and we LOVED staying at Heather’s house! The listing was just as it appeared online. Heather goes above and beyond when it comes to providing things for her guests (i.e. laundry detergent, beach towels, paper towels, etc.). We will most definitely be renting Heather’s house again in the future.

Lovely place! Lovely town!

We enjoyed our stay at Cape Charles and Heather’s home. The house was very clean, and on a very quiet street! We appreciated Heather being extremely prompt and helpful during and even after our stay. Look forward to returning to Cape Charles and returning to this lovely home!

Great Stay in Cape Charles

Heather and Chris' house was a perfect place to stay for our long weekend on the cape. We had everything we needed and there was a great deck and yard for hanging outside. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked and he had a great vacation overall. Thanks!

Third stay

This was our third stay at this property and we love it just as much as we did the first time we came. Hoping to get back in 2024. The owner is easy peasy to work with and the house is well appointed.

Fantastic!

Great place to stay. Very clean and lots of space. Plenty of games and activities for kids. The beach in Cape Charles is very shallow and perfect for small kids. For teens and adults a little deeper water would be preferred but the town itself and everything else about our stay was perfect.

Great Family House

We had a great time at “Just One More”. It was perfect for my husband, myself, and our three kiddos (6,4, and 2). The fenced in yard is great for kids and having the golf cart is a definite perk. We hope to be able to return to his this house in the future.

Another great experience

This was our second summer renting this house and it was just as comfortable as our last visit. The hosts are great, amenities are just as the listing says. I suspect we will be back again!

Perfect for our family!

We had a great time in Cape Charles. This house was perfect for our family. There are beach toys and chairs, many games and kids toys inside and a great fenced in back yard for the kids to play. We really enjoyed the golf cart rides around town. Heather was very responsive and we would recommend this house to other families like ours !

Relaxation

House was exactly as described and more. Very clean and comfortable stay. Plenty of amenities provided so that travel can be made easier. Heather was communicative and responsive as needed. If you have kids between 3-10, this house really knocks it out of the park with games and toys. Will stay again!

A great long weekend!

We spent a long weekend at Just One More. What a lovely home - Heather has packed it full of creature comforts including toiletries if you forget something, quality linens, an extremely well stocked kitchen, and lovely outdoor living spaces. We cannot wait to come back for our summer 2022 vacation!

Fun December weekend at just one more

We had a lovely stay at this home. The house had plenty of space for our family and the backyard is awesome! We rented the golf cart and that was the highlight of the trip for our kids. Heather was a great host and stayed in touch before and during our stay. Great little getaway and would definitely recommend this home! Oh and Festive Friday’s during the holiday season is so fun! Definitely make the trip for this during the off season

Hosts were really great about providing information and recommendations, golf cart was very helpful! Was a great place for our first trip to Cape Charles and recommended this place to a friend. Only complaint from our party was there was no blender for pina coladas! haha

Everything you need and more

We had an amazing stay at Just One More. The house is so beachy and clean and it has everything one needs for a stay in Cape Charles. Heather was very communicative and made sure we got settled in. She even checked in to make sure everything was okay after a night of heavy winds and rain. This was our third trip to Cape Charles and staying at Just One More made it our most enjoyable one yet. We absolutely will stay here again.

Exceptional Property!

My family stayed in this home for the Thanksgiving holiday. Plenty of room, very clean, golf cart was a definite plus. My grandkids loved riding in it! Yard is super for kids and pets. Good location! Nice beachy decor! Our only suggestion is some newer towels and an electric can opener is much needed! We absolutely loved our stay at “Just One More” and can’t wait to come back!

Perfect Family Rental

The house is very comfortable and perfectly appointed with everything you need. The fenced in yard is wonderful for dogs to romp in. The included items such as beach equipment are very convenient as is the use of the golf cart! Heather our host was great to work with and super sweet & communicative. We will be back! 😊

Great stay for Oyster Farm wedding

We had a wonderful stay at Heather’s property! Very clean, updated, bright, fresh, comfortable, and well stocked, even with toys for my toddler. We especially loved relaxing on the shaded front porch. The house was so close to the wedding venue (oyster farm) and my extended family’s house on strawberry street. It was so nice to rent the golf cart through heather and have it right at the property when we arrived. Great communication with host and easy to check in/out. Would definitely recommend this listing to everyone!

Great Cape Charles Experience

My family came to this property for our first Cape Charles experience and had a great week! We are a family with a 18 month old and 3.5 year old and everything exceeded our expecations. The house was clean and we were happy with everything offerered. We had a few interactions with messaging the owner simple questions and she was quick to reply and easy to contact which was really nice. We plan on coming back and definitely hope to book this place again! It was less than 5 minute ride via golf cart to everything we wanted to see in Cape Charles. Thanks for a great experience Ms. Williams!

Lucky us!

We’ve been fortunate to stay in some great properties, this one was one of the best. It was obvious the owners take a lot of care and pride in providing the best possible experience. Their attention to detail in every aspect of the house and communication was outstanding. Everything was so comfortable and very clean. We spent more time than planned in the house since bad weather kept us off the beach, we really got enjoy how comfortable and cozy the downstairs is. As far as location, we liked being in a less busy part of town. Honestly, Cape Charles is so small, no matter how far you are, you are ridiculously close! Thank you for a great week!

Anfitrión: Heather Williams

Christopher and I (Heather) live in Va Beach and we have 5 teens who LOVE Cape Charles. Chris works in real estate and I am a public school teacher. 4 of our 5 kids are in college and 1 is in High School. As our family heads off in new directions, we wanted a spot we could all return to for years to come.

We have been coming regularly to this amazing little town for the last 5 years. When COVID-19 cancelled all our family travel plans for 2020 we decided to use our savings to purchase a home away from home, "Just one More", in our favorite get away spot. We spent months ordering furniture, mattresses and bedding- then painting organizing things and getting it just right for our family AND for yours!! We hope you like it.
