The property was good and in a really good location. It wasn't as stocked as previous rentals we've had on Kiawah (ran through dishes after every meal, no beach chairs / toys, one paper towel roll, etc.). Overall a nice time though.

Great location to the beach and the amenities offered at kiawah. I would absolutely stay there again. Kitchen was fully stocked if you like to cook.

Nice place

The unit was very clean, had nice beds and showers and is in a convenient spot to the beach, and the Sanctuary. Checking in and out was easy and Sweetgrass was very responsive with the one question we had.

Comfortable and well appointed.

The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was very well appointed. As advertised, it was an easy 5 min walk to the beach. Centrally located on the island.

Summer weeklong family vaca

Great location! Rented bikes, easy ride to the beach and all over the island. Comfortable beds, a little tight on space. We had 7 people for 3 nights but once we went down to 5 it was better. The AC worked great but the bedrooms stayed warmer for some reason when the common areas were cooler.

Not up to par

Frig didn’t keep food and drinks cool and in the 2nd bedroom with the bunk beds the fan and light in the ceiling did not work so it made sleeping very uncomfortable for the 3 women in there.

Unfortunately, we didn't receive any communication from you in order to address these concerns during your stay. After your departure, our staff inspected the fridge and found it set so cold that a pitcher of water had frozen. We’ve adjusted the temperature, and the fridge is now functioning correctly. Regarding the second bedroom's fan and light, no issues were found during our inspection. We strive for a seamless experience for our guests and appreciate your insights to improve our services.

Not quite worth the price

My family has been staying on Kiawah for the past 20+ years and this rental left the most to be desired (and has been the most expensive yet). Some things we enjoyed: - The location was good -- short walk to the beach. - The screened in porch was lovely. - having a bathroom for every bedroom was great. However, some of the things that made it not quite up to par: - bedframe in one of the bedrooms was extremely fragile IKEA bedframe that appeared to have already been damaged -- completely broke apart on the first night (thankfully the team was very prompt in fixing it the next morning!) - One of the bathroom mirrors fell off the wall and onto one of my family members while they were standing in front of it - One of the fake drawer panels in the kitchen kept falling off - there were a few concerning squishy spots in the kitchen floor Overall we enjoyed our stay in a beautiful part of South Carolina, but with what the total of this rental came out to with taxes and fees, I would expect a bit higher quality experience.

I'm glad our team was able to repair the bedframe for you during the stay, and that was definitely not something we could have foreseen of course. I also apologize about the mirror, and our team has definitely ensured that will not happen again - and has also repaired that drawer panel. We are having someone over to take a look at the floors, as we had them completely replaced in 2020, so again we appreciate you bringing that to our attention! We strive to provide a great experience, and pride ourselves in being extremely responsive to anything needed by our guests. We'd be happy to discuss the experience further with you! Fun at the beach

Property was as depicted. Plenty of towels and cookware. Nice bedroom options. Couldn’t find local tv stations.

This is a dog friendly unit and future renters should be aware that a significant amount of black dog hair appeared during the coarse of our stay (? via air units). This may be able to be addressed with new air filters/ cleaning ducts etc. Otherwise, no complaints.
