Aloha and welcome to your beautiful new home-away-from-home with enchanting views of the Koolau mountains and Ala Wai golf course.

This 35th floor unit of the Waikiki Banyan is fully furnished with two twin size beds, two sofa beds in the living room, dining table with chairs, and two chairs with table on the lanai/balcony.

The full size kitchen has everything you’ll need to feel right at home: plates, glasses, silverware, full size oven/stove, full size refrigerator, microwave, rice cooker, pots and pans, etc.

Free parking pass and free private wifi are both included for your entire stay!!! Additional parking is available for $43day* (*rates subject to change).

The Waikiki Banyan features a recreation deck with a large pool, 2 spa/hot tubs, saunas, snack bar/restaurant, BBQ grills with outdoor picnic seating, and a children's playground!

NOTICE: Recreation Deck Constructions Starts April 7 2025
The Waikiki Banyan Recreation Deck Construction project commences April 7 2025. The pool, jacuzzi, sauna, outdoor seating, children’s playground, snack bar/restaurant, and BBQ area will be closed during the project. Some noise is to be expected during work hours.
The project has an estimated duration of 10 – 12 months from April 2025

Apartment was exactly as lusting

The apartment was exactly as listed with all the additional inclusions at the apartment block great. Front desk reception was lovely until they found we were a holiday rental and turned rude straight away. All we did is ask a question. Apartment was in great central location and thoroughly enjoyed my stay

If you want the bare minimum, this is the place. The photos show 2 double beds but the description says 2 single beds so read the accommodations! There are hardly any cooking utensils, plates and silverware. We had to call the property manager to complain about the beds that were falling apart, dirty condo and dirty silverware/utensils. No sheets available for 3rd person who slept on futon. Towel rack falling off of wall. I gave it one star because the property manager was very prompt about replacing all the complaints we had. I would not recommend staying in this particular place. It’s not worth the money.

Ideal Homebase In Waikiki

Stayed for one full week -- a mix of business & pleasure and was super pleased with this perfectly located, airy condo, perched above the quiet side of Waikiki. This corner unit on the 35th floor had stellar views of the mountains from the balcony, and a nice view of Diamond Head from the kitchen window. Amenities were basic and accurately described in the listing. I'd gladly stay here again on a return trip!

Mixed Bag (Full Disclosure)

PROS: -Location and views were really great from the 35th floor. -Free parking and wifi is a major selling point compared to other Waikiki properties. -A laundry room and trash chute are conveniently located steps away from the unit. -4 separate beds worked out well for our family of 4. -Decent size kitchen has various countertop appliances and a full-size fridge/cooking range/oven. -Pool and 2 jacuzzis are kind of nice. -1 block away from Waikiki Beach! CONS: -We were quite disappointed w/ how little the property resembled the photos in the listing. The disparity between the photos and reality amounted to false advertising. It's obvious the very bare minimum effort has been put into maintaining this property. In retrospect, we didn't get all that we paid for and could've gotten better quality and value for our money elsewhere. -Even though we registered as a party of 4, we were only provided linens for 2 of the 4 beds so the kids had to sleep on top of towels the 1st night. It took longer than we would've liked, but they did come through with the missing linens in time for the 2nd night of our stay, so I didn't bother to request any compensation for this. -Parking spots are limited (unassigned), so on a busy night you can spend some time searching for an opening. -Kitchen was minimally stocked w/ dishes. Wish there was at least 1 spare roll of paper towels and some salt and pepper. The skillets and knives were so abused, they were almost useless (no surprise there).

TV needs replacing

Property is in a great part of Waikiki not far from Beach and food. One complaint unit TV was broken could not turn TV off or adjust volume stuck on you tube station. had to change input to make sceen go black and no sound. Could have unpluged but many wires.

Great location

Great location and suite! Beautiful suite however patio furniture and beach chairs need to be updated (we didn’t use because of this!). Could use a blender in kitchen. Also disappointed that the bbqs require 2.00$ to use

It is a great unit for my stay in Waikiki

The unit is at a very good location It is facing the city/golf course which is better then facing the ocean in my opinion. It is facing east so that we enjoyed the sunrise every morning and night light in the evening. the beach is just 5+ minutes walk. plenty food options to choose from around. There are buts stops right at the corner. We did not rent a car but used the transit which can take us to most of the attractions such as pearls harbor, Dimond head trail, Koko head trail.... with $3 fare. Great place to stay. It will be even better if the balcony furniture can be updated. overall, it is great place to stay. very roomy for 4 adults.

Spectacular Views

Overall we really enjoyed our stay, which was mostly due to the amazing views from every window. The beds were comfortable, including the sofa bed and it was very clean. Note that the property lacked certain supplies that should be customary at a rental, including coffee filters, sugar, cooking oil, salt and pepper, to name a few. We ended up buying those items and leaving them at the property. We ran out of toilet paper towards the end of our stay and were told they only supplied two rolls of TP per stay. This just seemed chintzy to us, coupled with the total lack of basic kitchen staples that most every rental we've stayed in has always provided. The chairs they provide are camping chairs (not beach chairs) and there is no beach umbrella or cooler for your use, so take note and be sure to rent those from Snorkel Bob's. In addition, on our first night we tried to leave the rental to grab dinner for the evening and realized our door wouldn't lock. It was supposed to lock automatically behind us. We realized it would randomly lock after a few minutes but then when we entered the code it wouldn't unlock. Thankfully one of us was still inside when we tested it so we didn't get locked out. We were afraid to leave because we'd be locked out. We called the 24 hour line and the woman who helped us was quite rude, made it seem like it was our fault (user error), and we spent 45 minutes on the phone with her before she agreed to send someone out to take a look. Our plans were ruined for the evening at that point. Once that person arrived she confirmed everything we had already told the lady, that the lock was working only sporadically and needed replacement. A simple apology from the woman would have gone a long way for our inconvenience since we ended up staying in & eating snacks for dinner, but none was ever offered during our stay. Despite all of this, we still loved staying here because the views were truly spectacular. Do note that the winds can be very loud (like howling winds) and the building is old so there is air that seeps through the windows, which can keep you up so bring white noise. Also, be careful because these winds can create a suction and cause the front door to slam shut especially if you have the balcony slider open. Since this rental is run by a realty, we just felt it lacked the personal touch that a rental being managed by its own owner would have. No guide to the island, lack of supplies or warm welcome.

Great location with nice view

We enjoyed our stay at the Waikiki Banyan. Though the building is a bit dated, it is clean, secure and well-managed. The location is very convenient, right on Waikiki beach. The bed room is smaller than it appears in the photo; some minor repairs are needed in washroom, kitchen and the twin beds. Overall we had good experience.

Bright and clean with wonderful view.

Nice, clean and bright. Good kitchen with new appliances. Shower and sink area good. Would have liked a little more storage. Perhaps a chest of drawers and a cupboard for the vacuum cleaners. I find it rather unappealing to store them with clothes.

Oahu vacation

We were 4 ladies on a girl's trip for a long weekend in Waikiki. The apt had a great view of the hills and was clean and comfortable. Great location and a nice stay.

Family Vacay

We had a pretty good stay at the Waikiki Banyan, the location was perfect. It is close to everything, within walking distance of the Beach, shops, restaurants. The building itself is dated, could use some remodeling in the hallways (carpet, paint). Overall a pleasant stay. My family had an enjoyable stay.

Enjoyed our stay here. Bonus having 2 separate sofa beds in living room. Linens and glassware were missing but manager quickly responded (Average cleanliness, no dish towels either- I would think cleaners would notice missing items so low rating in attention to detail!).

Beautiful, perfect location, convenient

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this place. The view was breathtakingly beautiful, it was large enough for a family of four, the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed, the on site parking was easy and convenient, and the location was perfect.

Overall Good experience at the Banyan

The Banyan is in a great location close to everything! The Mountain and sunrise view was beautiful. My only suggestion for the condo is please replace the two camp chairs with real low to the ground beach chairs!

Amazing unit! The most incredible views!

You will clearly fall in love with this condo! The views are breathtaking! That alone is worth all the money! It has a nice balcony where you can sit and enjoy the nice sunrise. The whole wall is made of glass so you can always have access to the beautiful view. It isclean and has an amazing rental property managing it that are super nice! It is extremely well located. 2 blocks away from everything, the main strip, the beach, the restaurants, the zoo, etc! Theres also a cute little café located in the bottom bulding of tower 1 which makes amazing cofee and breakfast sandwhiches and it also haa a convenience store. For indoor parking, i would not recommend bigger than a tuscan suv. I had one and it was perfect! Unit is on a corner so uts quiet! I loved the beds! They were so comfterble! We put them together and it was lovwly! I would def recommend this unit! We shall def rent it again! Loved love loved!

Nice valley view of city lights

There are 37 floors in this building and this condo is on floor 35, high! There is a nice view of city lights. Clean condo has two couches that are more comfortable then the twin beds that were pretty hard. The building is old, but apartment is clean and updated. The beach is a two block walk not bad. Nice to have parking included. The listing does not list air conditioning in amenities but yes it does have A/C which worked very well. There are also bikes outside you can rent to ride to beach for $4 if interested. Pool is small and nothing fancy. For the price it is a good value.
