Aloha and welcome to your beautiful new home-away-from-home with enchanting views of the Koolau mountains and Ala Wai golf course.

This 31st floor unit of the Waikiki Banyan is fully furnished with one Twin size bed and one Full size bed in the bedroom, one (recently replaced, not pictured) pull out sofa bed in the living room, dining table with four chairs, and two chairs with table on the lanai/balcony.

The full size kitchen has everything you’ll need to feel right at home: plates, glasses, silverware, full size oven/stove, full size refrigerator, microwave, rice cooker, pots and pans, etc.

Free High Speed Internet/Wifi provided.

Free parking pass and free private wifi are both included for your entire stay!!! Additional parking is available for $43day* (*rates subject to change).

NOTICE: Recreation Deck Constructions Starts April 7 2025
The Waikiki Banyan Recreation Deck Construction project commences April 7 2025. The pool, jacuzzi, sauna, outdoor seating, children’s playground, snack bar/restaurant, and BBQ area will be closed during the project. Some noise is to be expected during work hours.
The project has an estimated finish date of June 30 2026
Our rates have been significantly discounted for the inconvenience of the pool and recreation deck closure.
There is a large sheltered saltwater swimming area 2 blocks away on Waikiki beach for you to enjoy while the pool is closed.
We apologize for any inconvenience that may occur.

Great location

Good location and parking included was great. Be aware of VERY busy elevator traffic. Parking lot was crowded but still helpful to have. apartment was roomy and nice view. Up high so 6th floor construction noise wasn't an issue. Would book again. Great communications from host.

Life at the Banyan

The condo was not as pretty as in the advertised pictures. It had everything we needed, though. We will return to the Banyan again . The location can not be beat.

First Hawaiian Holiday

Rental was very clean and well located. The apartment appeared a little on the tired side with many of fixtures and inclusions needing an update. Excellent views towards the water.

Family trip for a memorial service

We stayed in the condo for a memorial service. It is in an awesome location with great views! The place was clean and well furnished. The living room is very big and could use more seating like a love seat or more chairs. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and pans. There are beach towels and chairs in the unit to use. It it close to the washer and dryer which was really nice!

Very spacious and great for my family. My husband and I have teenage children so the pullout bed worked well. Very close to beach where we did our morning exercises. We enjoyed it so much, wishing to come back soon!

Deceitful listing

This was my first time using VRBO. With that being said I’m trying not to compare to a hotel. The downfalls of it not being a hotel is not having extra linens, towels and having to clean up after ourselves prior to leaving, such as taking out the trash. The positives are, more affordable, kitchen and dishes provided with a more laidback feel. The deceitful part was the listing stated two beds and TWO couches/futons. There was only ONE couch/futon. With a family of four, two teenagers and a large husband we needed that extra bed. My daughter and I shared the pull out couch which was rough. They also didn’t provide extra blankets for the couch so we had to purchase one. The cleaning lady also barge into the room without knocking one hour before checkout!!! The host was quick to communicate which is a positive.

Really enjoyed our stay!

This condo was perfect for our family of 4 (3 adults and 1 child). 2 beds plus 2 sleeper sofas, 1 bathroom, kitchen, dining area, living room with a smart tv, and small patio with an incredible view of the beach and mountains. AC in unit worked well. Laundry room is right across the hallway which is very convenient. Mini mart and coffee shop just downstairs. Beautiful beach for swimming, snorkeling, surfing is only a block away. Food and shopping is all within walking distance. It really is the perfect location. We were even allowed to check in early as our flight arrived at 11am. No need to rent a car, you can walk, Uber or take a bus wherever you want to go. We really enjoyed our trip and this condo!

Very nice appart

It was a very nice appart. However, I'll give 4.5 stars because the AC was very loud and definitely can't be used during the night sleep time. There is something else to mention: the coffe machine had no filters so we had to buy some (not big deal but i just want to mention it here). Anothet thing to mention, one of the beach umbrela was completely broken so it's time to replace it or just to throw it away.

Nice condo

Perfect little spot in the city. Easy access to stores and restaurants. Only downfall was the fire alarm going off numerous times during the stay causing us to walk down all those stairs multiple times that week. Would stay here again.

Great place close to the beach

Visited Hawai’i for the first time with my dad. fThis was a great place. Nice views, 5 min walk to the beach, free parking—just a good place to stay if you are looking to explore Oahu. Also, having a kitchen to cook/prepare meals is a huge money saver and is convenient. I would stay again.

Perfect for family with teenagers

We usually stay in hotels so this was the 1st time using a VRBO. Excellent instructions to condo, the use of the room code and the free parking pass/lot. Room was as pictured & the 2 futon couches were perfect for my tall teenage boys to use. Didn’t use the kitchen much but nice it was there and used the fridge and micro mostly. The trash and laundry rooms are right next door which was super convenient and we never heard any noises from anyone else using them. We also never heard our neighbors who were there. Loved how close it was to the beach, stores and food… a short one block walk. Had an issue with an outlet so emailed the renter and it was fixed within hours! Nice and great service. We would stay here again so I do recommend this property.

Check in process was very smooth & easy to follow. When we first entered our room there was a bag of trash sitting on top of the oven. I contacted the owner and he was very apologetic. However it did leave an unpleasant odor in the room when we first arrived. Place is as described online. Only downside is that I feel it could use a really good deep cleaning. The view was amazing and parking was great. Location is close to tons of activities / beach that you can easily walk to. We enjoyed our stay.

Great view, easy access to trash and laundry, however the leaking air conditioner was an issue

All good with the exception of the leaking air conditioner on the balcony which became a safety issue with slipping and taking.

Convenient and organized

Overall i liked my stay here. The house was well organized and clean except for the toilet bowl which was a miss from the cleaner. The best aspect about this is parking which allows you to wander. It is close to most of Waikiki activities. The house does get a humid smell after a while which is why we had to constantly run the air conditioner.

A pleasant and convenient stay!

Aloha! It has all the basics things we need during our stay. Our kids got comfortable immediately and the parking garage close to the unit made it perfect. There is a small market downstairs that has all the things you may need instead of running to grocery. We enjoyed our stay and hope to be back soon! Mahalo!
