We had a wonderful stay. The lake and surrounding area were absolutely beautiful, and the setting made the trip feel peaceful and relaxing from the moment we arrived. It was a lovely place to slow down, enjoy the water, and spend time together. We would gladly return and would recommend this stay to anyone looking for a quiet lake getaway.

The cabin was very nice, clean and peaceful. We used the hot tub and fire pit nightly. Bed was comfortable, the kitchen was very usable, and the water pressure was great. The property was well maintained. The host was friendly and quick to respond. Disposing of trash was easy. We were also pleasantly surprised by the farm-fresh eggs upon arrival. Would recommend to family and friends and would stay again.

Clean rooms, nice cabin, quick responses, and beautiful views. Would definitely love to come back in the future with my kids! Highly recommend this host and property.

Cute clean cabin. kitchen was well stocked, even with some spices and other things. Great porch to sit outside. It's a lot of steps to get down to the lake, but it's beautiful once you get there.

This place was everything we needed this past week for our short trip. A very nice and well kept house and extremely quiet which we appreciated!

The cabin was lovely and well-kept. The hosts were kind and quick to respond to questions. It worked perfect for our needs.Helpful info. for potential renters: It is a fairly lengthy, steep set of stairs to get down to the dock. It was too much for my parents to tackle.

Nina, so glad you enjoyed the Retreat. We loved hosting you. As with most properties at Smith Mountain Lake, there are quite a few steps. That is why we installed the shaded benches halfway down to the lake. Please come back soon.

Nice Place

My brother, sister-in-law and I came to Rocky Mount for a concert at The Harvester. We loved Rocky Mount! This place was conveniently located to Rocky Mount. It was nice to sit on the porch and watch the boats, and we had a great breakfast at the Marina. We would stay here again!
