The Bennett Place offers travelers or visitors to Silver City an alternative choice for lodging. Located near the Historic Downtown Silver City we cater to those who appreciate something more than the typical 'motel' experience.

Many of our guests are relocating to Silver City and others are visiting for local events such as the Tour of the Gila bike race, the Silver City Blues Festival, or hiking or hunting in the Gila National Wilderness. We are conveniently located within walking distance to downtown shopping, restaurants, museums, art galleries and more.

Our recently remodeled rooms are very comfortable and well-stocked. In addition there is a large outdoor common area with a barbecue, workshop, and sufficient space for secure RV or large-vehicle parking.

Silver City

Silver City is a central location for exploring the area. We enjoyed the drive to Lake Roberts and exploring the city and the museum on the university campus.

Nice place to stay

Place was clean and well stocked with spices- oils - and other cooking related necessities -- bed was fine -- short walk to town-- I would stay there again -- If your comming from tombstone be sure to stop at chiricahua national monument and hike echo canyon --

Silver City and Gila visit

Enjoyed our visit. Close to everything in city. Nice open yard with fence. Enjoyed the patio and fireplace. Host set up wood in fireplace so that all we had to do was light it and then add more wood.

Exceeded expectations

Property and experience was as advertised. Amy was wonderful and very responsive. Very quiet neighborhood and easy walk to downtown and other stores, including Dairy Queen, which was a bit too easy to get to:)

Wonderful Accommodations

We stayed for 2 nights at Amy and Larry's duplex. It was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Amy and Larry were very personable and helped make our stay very comfortable. The duplex is close to the main shopping and we were able to walk to all the shops and restaurants even in the snowy weather. We would stay here again.

We stayed because we are doing short projects nearby. We've chosen to come back to stay at her home because she's very hospitable, easy to work with. We'll definitely stay again.

Comfortable and affordable in convenient location

Really enjoyed our stay at Bennet Street. The host, Amy, was beyond awesome. She went above and beyond for sure. The location is across the main street from Historic Downtown. Silver City is so cute. Great place to escape the heat of Phoenix--didn't turn the A/C on once!

Exceptional Property

Beautiful grounds, very well appointed home. A hidden gem in Silver City. The host, Amy, checked on us several times to ensure we had everything we needed and were comfortable. Will definitely be returning.

Amazing find

Everything was perfect. Amy has made every effort for guests to feel comfortable and the place was spacious with a separate kitchen and living room. There was a place for us to wash our clothes and an outside area with a fireplace and outdoor heater area where we had a gathering with friends. We’ll definitely go back if we’re in Silver City again..

Great host, great location, comfy property!

Amy is a fantastic host with great communication and flexibility. The property is well-stocked so you don't need to bring things like spices, oil, etc if you do not want to. The property is walking distance from the cute downtown as well. The outdoor space is very inviting even though I was unable to use it due to very cold temps! I will be back for sure!

Clean and amazingly well provisioned

This property is as presented online. It's very clean and well cared for by the local owners. It offers all the comforts of home with very well provisioning from coffee to seasonings. The backyard patio with grill and fireplace is an excellent extra. It is obvious the owners take pride in their properties and maintain them to a very high standard. I was fortunate to meet the owners during my stay. They are very friendly and offered a wealth of knowledge regarding attractions in the area. I highly recommend these accommodations to anyone interested in this area.

An owner who takes pride in her rentals

We loved our stay in Silver City. The house is tastefully decorated, fully stocked, but the best part is the outdoor living space. There is a TV, a Fireplace, a tall heater like you would find at a golf course deck, comfortable seating, etc. We were truly blessed with great neighbors on both sides (Amy owns those rentals too). Amy and her husband are constantly improving on their properties. This rental is close to everything we wanted to do, we caught some college games, hiked on numerous trails all within 20 mins. or so, caught a couple movies at the Silco. Can't say enough about this rental. We even made the drive to Lake Roberts twice and the Cliff dwellings. Would definitely stay in one of their rentals if we come back to Silver City.

You won't find a more comfortable stay!!!

So, my wife and I stayed a week. We were looking at housing in Silver City. We were "blown away" by the hospitality and comfort of Amy's property. The most well stocked housing we have ever encountered. We have traveled for the last 40 years with our business and we found the crown jewel here. One won't be disappointed. The neighborhood is quiet, the outdoor relaxing space is very comfortable. Amy and Larry are very gracious, bubbly, and hands on. I certainly hope we can stay here again. This would be my first choice!!!! We only hope nobody else will find out about place because we want to it to be available to us whenever we want. Thank you for your commitment to excellence!!! Silver City has to be one of the friendliest cities we have ever visited. A+++ in every way!!!

Silver City Hub for the Gila Wilderness

We needed a cool rest house from the heat of Tucson, and here it was. Great location for day trips and hikes in the Gila Wilderness. Plenty of good restaurants and stores in town close by. Bath and shower were just right after long hikes and weary muscles :)

Perfect for two

We came out for the Tour of the Gila with two bikes and a lot of gear - the unit was comfortable, quiet, and super convenient to all the racing - easily walkable to downtown and a nearby grocery store. Highly recommended!

Excellent Accommodations

When my wife and I arrived at the location, we were shortly met by Amy. She gave us a brief tour of the unit (half of a two unit building), showed us where everything was, including the outdoor shade structure that had a grille, fireplace/kiva, various pieces of furniture, outdoor TV and our own parking area. The unit had everything you could think of that you'd need away from home. . It was a few blocks from Silver City's tourist shopping area, so we walked to most places. All in all, it was a very enjoyable stay and we highly reccommend it.

Property has everything

This property is equipped with everything you could possibly want. It is 4 blocks from old town Main Street. The owner is very quick to respond and extremely helpful. You won’t be sorry.

Cozy spot in Silver City

We had a lovely time at Amy's Bennett street house. She made a special trip to start the heat for us. The house was attractive and well equipped. The WiFi was great. We didn't turn on the Dish TV. Nor did we get to enjoy the outdoor area which looked divine but weather was chilly and our stay was short. Highly recommend this property.
