The Bennett Place offers travelers or visitors to Silver City an alternative choice for lodging. Located near the Historic Downtown Silver City we cater to those who appreciate something more than the typical 'motel' experience.
Many of our guests are relocating to Silver City and others are visiting for local events such as the Tour of the Gila bike race, the Silver City Blues Festival or hiking or hunting in the Gila National Forest / Wilderness. We are conveniently located within walking distance to downtown shopping, restaurants, museums, art galleries and more.
Our recently remodeled rooms are very comfortable and well stocked. In addition there is a large outdoor common area with a patio which includes an outdoor fireplace, barbecue grill, workshop and sufficient space for secure RV or large - vehicle parking.

Grate place to Stay

I stayed for 19 days. The place was a home away from home. Loved the back yard, sitting on the front porch talking to the kitty that wonders around. I would defiantly stay there again!

My first VRBO

The patio outback was so amazing I did not want to leave it. Walking distance to downtown was ideal. Property manager (Amy) was so nice to talk to as well. My first vrbo, so can't compare but I loved it and will be back. Everything you could possibly want was supplied.

Wonderful stay

The house is well-cared for and very clean. Amy has done a wonderful job decorating the house. The backyard provides additional space to relax with a fireplace and outdoor TV. I appreciated the little extras too!! We will certainly be staying here again when we visit Silver City.

A 5-Star Stay

Wow. The apartment and extensive property are stunning. It's like staying at a resort. Great place to unwind after a busy day with cozy spots to sit and relax outside. Location is optimal, grocery store and downtown restaurants are just blocks away. Amy is an attentive host. She likes to get to know her guests and quickly responds to questions. Will definitely look to see if Amy’s place is available next time I’m in Silver City.

Wonderful Stay

We had a great stay. The accommodation was clean, well equipped and everything worked. We found the furniture comfortable for relaxing in the evenings. This was part of a longer trip and we really appreciated the access to a washer and dryer during our week stay. We enjoyed the shared outdoor pavilion on the warm afternoons watching the hummingbirds come to feed. In the evenings, the mule deer came to drink at the tubs Amy thoughtfully provided. We also enjoyed all the plants and flowers on the property. We were a bit uncomfortable coming into the neighborhood as it was older with properties in mixed states of upkeep. However we had no problem and felt safe walking the couple blocks into town. Now for the best. Amy was a wonderful, accommodating, friendly, thoughtful, and gracious host. Would happily stay at one of her properties again.

Perfect Cottage

Great 3 night stay in a sweet cottage. Nicely decorated, wonderful bed and great back yard with TV and Fireplace. Amy our host was very attentive and a real pleasure to deal wit. We had a great time.

5 plus stars! Property is conveniently located, within walking distance of groceries, pharmacy, restaurants, university, museum & the unique downtown. The unit was perfect.. clean, comfortable, modern & stocked with anything you could possibly need. Amy is the perfect host, attentive & easy to reach. Fantastic Stay

I had trouble finding a place to stay for my travel job in Silver City. I'm so glad I found Amy's location. She's very friendly and helpful, and the place was just what I wanted. Clean and comfortable.

Relaxation

It was perfect. Very comfortable, attractive and great location close to downtown. Amy is a generous and creative host. We will definitely come back. Also there were beautiful poppies that welcomed us at each return.
