The property was gorgeous. Having 3 different pools to choose from was epic. The cove was full of fish so snorkeling was wonderful. The property was also walking distance to many restaurants and food store.

Our stay at Kanaloa Kona was a wonderful experience. Check-in was simple and although we showed up past business hours, the staff that was available was very friendly and helpful. We had no issues with access and the property was clean and had everything we needed including extra towels, bedding, beach toys, beach towels, extra soap/ shampoo, bug spray, kitchen equipment, basic pantry items, etc. Our host was responsive almost immediately and the location is central to so much Kona has to offer. Our family had an amazing and memorable time in Kona and we hope to be back soon!

We had a great 2 weeks at this property. The owner was very accommodating and any small issues we had were taken care of quickly.The unit itself, like the property, is older but we found that it was well equiped and pleasant. It was quiet, with the bay view delightful off the family room. There are actually 3 decks with sunset views from the other 2. With 2 bedrooms, 2 baths and 3 pools we were happy there. An upstairs queen or king bed would make it even better. 1500 square feet was nice. We would recommend this unit and this owner. Terry & Sue T

Beautifully decorated in authentic Hawaiian traditional furniture. Lovely lanai we had coffee on each morning listening to the waves. Lots of space, with all the things you need to have a home away from home!

Excellent Place to Stay in Kona

Our family absolutely loved our stay! The location was perfect; quiet and away from the strip. The condo was as described and clean, everything needed for our stay. If we ever find ourselves back in Kona we would definitely stay here again!

Thank you! We enjoyed our stay. The place was clean, cute and nice and cold after being out in the hot sun! Beautiful view and Good location close to shops, restaurants and beaches. We enjoyed the pools and hot tubs but would advise anyone who is traveling with kids to be aware before booking that we had a noise complaint for using the pool at 4pm with our grand kids who are locals. Security came out and told us they had a complaint and we needed to keep the kids quiet. The place is a little outdated but overall still nice. We didn’t like that the upstairs room was a loft so we couldn’t watch tv at night or we’d disturb our daughters sleeping and there is no other tv in the house. One in the master would be really nice! Having the beach chairs, towels and sand toys was an awesome plus! The bathrooms could use a few more washcloths and towels though. We only had one towel/washcloth a piece for our 9 day stay. So I ended up doing laundry every night. Beds were comfy but a few more pillows options (maybe feather) would be nice. And a few throw blankets in the bedrooms and living room. When you get a suntan or sunburn the AC can be pretty chilly. Overall a great place and trip and would stay here again!

Great holiday condo

We had a wonderful stay at this condo. Loved the location being a bit south of the strip, but close to beaches and shopping. Highly recommend.

Great place! Can't wait to come back!

We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed the quiet and relaxing area. The pools and tennis court were well maintained. We look forward to coming back again!

We stayed here two weeks in July with our two grown sons. The condo is spacious and comfortable and has a wonderful view throughout the day. We loved the resort and enjoyed all three pools, especially the ocean pool at the end of the day to watch the sunset. We would stay here again. I also enjoyed having multiple grills stationed throughout the resort so I never had to wait when I was ready to cook dinner.

Kona Getaway

Home away from home

Location was excellent. Easy access to everything. Great views from each lanai. House is equipped with everything we needed and more. Resort was beautiful as well.

Great location and view

Great location, good view from the lanai, walking distance to beaches and grocery store, but is still nice and quiet. We love this property. We can watch the sunset from the pool area. The property manager is very responsive.

Perfect oasis

It surpassed my expectations. Felt so private and yet so convenient to everything we wanted to do. Sitting on the main deck watching the sunrise and again in the evening listening to the surf and the birds was truly special.

Comfortable condo with all the extra supplies to make our stay easy and memorable.

We loved this beautiful condo and that it was well stocked so that we didn't have to think about basis amenities. It has a gorgeous view, and a beach that we could walk to and my son could surf at. Such a nice resort with tennis courts, pools, and hot tubs. We highly recommend this condo!!

Great property for a family vacation

We loved how comfortable this condo was for family of 2 kids, and 4 adults. We enjoyed drinking coffee on the beautiful lanai and the fully stocked kitchen for meals at home. We couldn’t figure out how to get the ceiling fan on the lanai to work, but other than that, we loved this vacation.

Wonderful condo by the sea!

We stayed for a week. We had breakfast every morning on the lanai while watching people fish, swim and, when the tide was high, just listening to the waves move over the rocks. We saw sunset every night from the deck of the ocean pool and the air conditioning was a real plus for us! Our family had a wonderful time. It’s located close to lots of fun things to do. We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent condo with second floor view of the bay.

Had a very nice stay in this condo. Enjoyed sitting out on the lanai watch the waves crash in the little bay. The resort area is clean and well kept. Pools are not too busy and it is easy to get out to town in a few minutes. A good spot that close enough to everything and yet private.

The pictures do not reflect the units current condition. Additionally the upstairs is an open loft area AND not a queen bed but 2 single beds. Also the main downstairs bath was not recently remodeled, I suspect it was done years ago.
