Wake up to the sound of seabirds and lobster boats puttering by as the sun rises. Spend your days kayaking from our private dock, hiking nearby preserves, touring a local oyster farm, exploring Boothbay Harbor, or just relaxing with a book overlooking the cove. In the evening, gather around the fire pit with fresh Maine lobster and s'mores for dessert while the stars emerge overhead. Our cottage is the kind of place where families slow down, reconnect, and create traditions they'll look forward to every summer.

Lovely location and very cute cottage perfect for families with all of the amenities you need, we enjoyed the kayaking most of all and the proximity to local restaurants and shops. Easy checking process and good communication by host, we would stay again. Great experience for all!

We loved our 7 night stay! The home has beautiful views and is very comfortable. The kitchen had everything you might need. The Botanical Gardens are a must see. We had hoped to go kayaking but it was a bit cold in October. We enjoyed all the hiking around Boothbay and seeing the fall leaves. Porter Preserve and Ocean View Point were our favorites. Jenn was very attentive when we contacted her.

It's not very often you walk into a rental and instantly feel at home! Everything was spotless! The living room was so cozy and comfortable! The beautiful kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans! There were fans in each room and A/C 's in the bedrooms, if needed. One night there was a short power outage and the Generac kicked right in! The TV is easy to use and had all of our favorite channels! Most of all, the peace and quiet!! The view from the front porch is just as good as the out back deck! All in all, it was wonderful!! Jen and Seth were very responsive and kind! Hope to make it back next year!!

We loved our stay at this property. We stayed here with our two children, 11 and 12 and there was something for everyone. It is so peaceful. You wake up to beautiful lake views and there is no noise. It is close to Boothbay and there are lots of day trips in easy reach. The property is spacious and well stocked. They even supply binoculars which I used daily to watch the wildlife. We even saw a bald eagle fighting an osprey over the lake on the last morning! It was huge! There are birds, red squirrels and chipmunks in the garden.There are kayaks with the property and going on those is lots of fun.The host is extra helpful and responsive. Book this house - you'll be pleased you did.

At dinner tonight, we were discussing how much we love looking out while eating and chatting to see the birds fly over and boats go by. Then, we went outside to enjoy s'mores by the firepit. Beautiful location

Beautiful and quiet location with plenary to do within short car rides. How nice to be able to kayak at high tide. Nice accommodations!

Amazing vacation home

The house is wonderful, exactly as described, and a perfect space for our family while we visited the area! Great location, beautiful outside spaces to relax, and it had everything we needed plus lots more that were nice additions to our stay. It was super clean with comfortable beds and the communication from start to finish with the owners was awesome. We would absolutely recommend it and stay here again!

Our stay was wonderful. Perfect family vacation spot. We loved the view, absolutely beautiful, enjoyed the private dock, availability of kayaks, grill, fire pit, outside sitting area. Fit the 6 of us well. House was clean and “homelike”, a home away from home. Would highly recommend staying here and want to plan a return stay.

Beautiful Stay!

This property was amazingly beautiful! We enjoyed watching the birds every morning from the expansive picture windows that look out over the water! The beds were comfy, property had everything you needed and even included two fire pits and kayaks you could use. Thanks for sharing your breathtaking piece of heaven with us!

Christmas at Boothbay

The location was beautiful and very peaceful. The house was clean and well stocked. It was a beautiful place to spend Christmas and I would recommend this home any time of the year!

Annual trip to Boothbay

Always enjoy our visits to Maine. We've been going for about 20 years, and have stayed at a few different places over that period of time! The weather is always different each year, but enjoyable.

Magical get away

Enjoyed our repeat stay at this charming waterfront cottage on tidal cove. You can walk out your front door and pop into a kayak. There is lots of day trips and hiking reserves in the area. We will be back.

Fabulous view of cove

Fabulous view, responsive hosts, property sits on lovely cove where u can watch tide go in and out, charming Boothbay only 10 minute ride! We plan on being back next year!

Wonderful house

This is the best rental we have ever had. The view is fantastic, the location is great, and the house has everything you need. Go ahead an book this house if you can find an open week, you will be glad that you did!

Beautiful location! Check in/ door lock easy to use! WiFi good, kitchen well equipped. Beds were good. Master bathroom shower leeks, that should be addressed. Would prefer curtains on the windows in the living room and dining area.

Hi Gail, Glad you enjoyed your stay and the location of our house on the cove. Next week, we head up to work on the shower door and fix its leak on the bottom. As for the curtains, we will pass. Lovely home in Trevett

This is our second year staying at this wonderful house in Maine. It was a bit warmer this year but we enjoyed it despite that. The house whas a ton of light and looks out on a peaceful cove. Even though Boothbay is close it seems like you are a world away from it because of the location. We hope to stay here again next year.

Piece of heaven

The property was very serene, laid back relaxing. We did plenty of exploring the surrounding areas. House was equipped better than others we have stayed at. We were very comfortable.

Maine water view

Loved the house. Great view of the water. Host was amazing. Kitchen was stocked with pans and spices. Very relaxing area. Enough towels hot water. Will stay again and again.

Quiet tidal cove

The property was just as described. Kayaking around the cove was great with one-of-a-kind views. Location was close enough to town for easy day trips. Fantastic food and great people at the local Trevett store at island entrance. Overall, we had a wonderful time, and the host was very responsive and helpful.

Lovely property

We all enjoyed our stay very much. The location is really beautiful and peaceful. Tried kayaking for the first time which was a fun experience. I love how the house sits on the cove. Inside it is open and full of light. We enjoyed sitting outside on both the front and back decks. We saw different birds and even a deer on the property behind the house. We already booked it for next summer!
