Welcome to Red Lantern Lodge, your family memory maker. From the minute you walk in to our cabin we hope you feel at home. Enjoy a peaceful retreat in this beautifully updated log cabin that sleeps 10, Gorgeous mountain views, and conveniently located with a short drive to the Grandfather Mountain, wineries, Boone, ski slopes, shopping, restaurants, hiking trails, fly fishing, gem mines, rafting and more. The kitchen is fully stocked and the table is perfect for meals and after dinner games. Take your pick of the two covered porches to see nature and the nearby waterfall. Our spacious cabin offers 3 levels each with smart TV's and sitting areas. 2 couches to chill or sleep on too. Check out our reviews!

The cabin is beautiful, it has everything you may need ! The owner is super flexible and sweet! Our grand children said that they wanted to stay there for ever!

This lodge is amazing! We had a family of 11 to include adult children and young grandchildren. We all thoroughly enjoyed this place. There's plenty of places to sleep, plenty of counter space in the kitchen, most kitchen necessities to cook big meals. The game room was a hit, the hook and ring game on the deck was a fan favorite! The only thing we would have liked a little different is a larger gathering space for the whole crowd. The living room is smaller so it only accommodated half of us. The game room all the way downstairs wasn't much bigger with not a lot of extra seating. It ended up working out fine for all the moving around everyone did but that would be the only down side. We enjoyed the lodge and the town of Foscoe is great, the produce stand, the breakfast eatery. Well worth the drive!

Great place to stay for a mountain getaway

Our group had a great time and this house was perfect for what we needed! Owners were great at communicating with us! Great stay for the price!

Very well kept cabin

Very clean cabin and great location with easy access to all of the local attractions (skiing, hiking, tubing, etc). Would Definitely stay again!

Awesome Cabin experience in the mountains

This cabin was perfect for our family vacation during the holidays. Plenty of room for the whole family. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to come back soon.

The host was great. They called ahead of time and provided the lay of the land. It’s snowy and cold up there this weekend, and there was plenty of blankets to keep people warm. There was a large loft which is great if you’re traveling with kids. The game room in the basement has a foosball table which was great. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking meals and a grocery store down the road. We’re looking to stay here again next year as it was a great home for a family vacation.

Fun cabin

Nice and Cozy Cabin!

This cabin was very nice and cozy. It was a perfect place for our family of 11 to stay. The cabin was in an excellent location and was very clean and organized. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a cabin in the High Country!

Cozy Cabin Close to Hawksnest

Nice, cozy cabin that was large enough for my family. Spacious kitchen, family area, game room, and plenty of room for sleeping arrangements. I would recommend to anyone with a large family who is looking in this area.
