Beautiful home and property. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our time there in mid-October. Something for everyone and close enough to downtown Boone and Blowing Rock while also being peaceful and off the beaten path. I look forward to many returns in the future.

We felt like we were home from the minute we walked in the door.We spent hrs every day on the back porch enjoying the cool weather after coming from the excessive heat in Florida.We even had a doe and her 2 fawns visit almost every day and listening to the sound of the river flowing over large stones was so peaceful and relaxing.The host (and home owner) Chris could not have been more kind and addressed any questions we had quickly and thoughtfully.The beds were super comfy and and the master bathroom was huge.We loved that it was a guard gated community also

We stayed at this property with our children and elderly parents. We all slept comfortably, there were great games (board games, ping pong, ect), to entertain everybody. The view from the backyard overlooking the river was peaceful and beautiful. The house was excellently cleaned and we had no issues whatsoever. Would definitely recommend!

The home was perfect for a family getaway in the NC mountains. The house is close to all that the Boone NC area has to offer.

The house and property are beautiful and well appointed. The creek behind the house makes relaxing on the deck so enjoyable. There is a nice fire pit near the creek as well and you really experience nature sitting around it in the evening. The location was convenient to many restaurants and attractions. Highly recommend this property.

This was our fourth stay at Rivers Edge Lodge, and it continues to exceed our expectations each time. Of the 10 homes we have rented in the area, this property is by far the most beautiful. The location is ideal, the layout is thoughtfully designed, and the outdoor firepit and grill make it perfect for relaxing evenings. We look forward to returning again—highly recommended.

Rivers Edge - cozy, comfortable, peaceful

Rivers edge is just as VRBO described. The lodge is very comfortable, cozy, beautiful and peaceful. We really enjoyed our stay. Conveniently located, yet tucked away. The host was very gracious, providing everything you need and very accommodating. We will definitely be visiting again. Wonderful stay!

Solitude on the river

Everything was as described. Very comfortable house, well decorated and has everything you need to enjoy the property. Highly recommend!
