This unit is perfect for those who want to experience spectacular views of the surrounding area, sparsely populated wide sandy beaches, warm sunshine and walks to the end of the Island to fish, hunt for shells or just sight see and enjoy the quiet natural surroundings. Beach gear (chairs, etc.) can be left in bins at the beginning of the boardwalk. Beach gear and linens are not supplied. Most bring their own but can be rented also. I can supply contacts if needed.

My sister and I stayed for a week. The condo was great. It provided everything we needed. Check in was easy. The weather wasn’t the best but we were able to enjoy listening to the ocean waves from the balcony and watching the dolphins swim by. It was very nice that there was a bin to store chairs and umbrellas right off the beach access. Would definitely book this place again.

The unit had a bright, airy, and spacious feel, and was very well equipped. Beach is very nice - soft sand and gradual slope. There is a Publix supermarket just before the bridge. We would go back again. Note that you have to bring your own sheets and paper products.

Our host was very responsive and gave us very complete information about our condo, the resort and the area. The condo had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The balconys and views were amazing.

The condo was very nice, spacious, beautifully furnished and clean. The kitchen was well stocked, although martini glasses, shot glasses and a cocktail shaker would be a nice addition. I would also suggest blackout curtains in the bedroom. The thin bamboo-style shades on the sliding doors let in a lot of light, making the bedroom extremely bright early in the morning. The ocean view was amazing, and the host was very responsive to our concerns.Unfortunately, extensive renovations were taking place two floors above us, and we were not made aware of this beforehand. Had we known, we may have chosen to stay elsewhere. Construction began around 8 am each morning and the drilling, hammering and sawing were sometimes so loud we couldn’t hear the TV. We could even hear the sawing from the beach. The property management was absolutely no help at all. We understand renovations need to happen and were outside our host’s control, but guests should be informed in advance when construction may significantly affect their stay. The condo itself was lovely, but the noise made it difficult to have the peaceful, relaxing vacation we had anticipated.

The view was perfect! The check in process was smooth. The owner gave great instructions.We booked this specific unit because (for a small party of two), this is one of the only rentals on the island that offered a hot tub for guests (instead of booking a 5 or 8 bedroom home with a hot tub). We chose this vrbo because of that feature. Unfortunately, the hot tub, and whole inside wet area was completely closed to guests- with a big sign identifying that status. Disclosing this information would have been helpful before booking. Otherwise, the stay was enjoyable and relaxing!

Great place in a wonderful location

We loved the oceanfront view and enjoyed walking the short distance to the end of OIB, where the waterway meets the ocean. Very clean property with all the amenities we needed. It was a great Thanksgiving beach trip!

This unit is AMAZING! My family rents this from Doug every time we stay at Ocean Isle. Clean, two separate balconies, gated parking lot, private beach for owners and guests. Doug is very responsive when I have questions

Great condo

The condo was very nice and we enjoyed our stay. It was nice having a full kitchen as we are used to staying in hotel rooms. The balcony's were nice too.

Visiting extended family

We went to visit family that just moved to the area. Condo had a beautiful view of the beach. It was very nice and very quiet area. Will definitely stay their when we visit the area again.

Great Place, Great Beach
